"Gary, what do you think they're talking about?" Celeste knew that Ernest and Maria had gone to the rooftop, but they still hadn't come downstairs. As of then, Gary was in her room with her. He wasn't worried at all. As he laid on her bed, his scorching gaze fell on her.

"I don't know," Gary commented nonchalantly. His voice was low, and it sounded like he really didn't know anything.

Celeste naturally did not believe him, "You're so smart. Don't you know what they're talking about?"

"They're in similar situations. Naturally, they will have a common topic to chat about," Gary's eyes and brows were relaxed.

"Experienced similar situations?" Celeste didn't quite understand. She looked at Gary and asked, "How could they experience similar situations?"

Gary looked at Celeste coldly. This girl was no longer as sharp as she used to be. He sighed, "They're single. Of course they must've experienced something similar." Celeste was stunned. She looked at Gary, her eyes widened in realization before nodding her head, "That's true."

Looking at the beautiful girl in front of him, Gary couldn't help but feel a ripple in his heart.

More importantly, after the three days of separation, he had long reached his limit.

He stared at Celeste longingly. She refused to go back with him as she was worried about her best friend.

Gary's thoughts of staying behind changed. He wanted to leave. He wanted to hurry back to their private love nest.

"Do you know that it's also immoral to show off our relationship to single people?" Gary looked at Celeste and guided her in the direction he wanted.

"Show off?" Celeste was stunned and suddenly realized something, "Are you implying that we're an eyesore to Maria and Ernest?"

"They're smart people," Gary grunted, "They know that we're together, and we're showing off in front of them. They've gone up to the roof, but you still want to stay here. Don't you think it's torture for them when they come back down later?"

Celeste was rendered speechless by his words, and her face turned red. She looked at him and asked hesitantly, "Then, won't it be an even greater eyesore if we go back now?"

Gary sighed lightly. A hint of helplessness appeared in his eyes. He reached out to grab Celeste's hand and gently caressed it as he said, "Then let's just stay here. Go to bed early. Well leave tomorrow morning."

Celeste nodded immediately, "Then you should go back and rest. I'll go and rest early too."

When Gary heard that he had been asked to leave, he frowned, "Are you chasing me out?" "You have a guest room," She said.

Gary suddenly let go of Celeste's hand and quickly stood up, startling her.

She thought he was angry.

However, just as she thought he was leaving in anger, he walked to the door and locked it.

The sound of the door locking suddenly made Celeste worried.

Before she could react, he had already turned around.

Celeste stood up and pursed her lips subconsciously. She swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

Gary was already standing in front of her. He lifted her chin with his fingers and stared right into her eyes.

Celeste immediately said, "Go back to your room. I

feel awkward already."

She felt that it was too obvious doing it in such a place.

"I know you're embarrassed, but you're mine now. You have to take care of my feelings too, don't you?" Gary whispered in Celeste's ear gruffly.

His voice was so low that it tickled her ears. Something in her heart stirred, causing her emotions to overflow.

Before Celeste could say anything, Gary grabbed her by the waist and pushed her against him.

The two of them were very close to each other. They had only done it a few times, but she could clearly feel what effect she had on his body.

They were so close to each other. For some reason, Celeste felt emotional. She couldn't express her sadness at the thought of how they'd still be separated for the next few years. "When are you going back to the United States?" She asked in a muffled voice.

Gary froze before asking, "You want me to leave?"

"No, That's not what I meant," Celeste shook her head. She didn't want to be separated from him, and she didn't expect these things to happen to them.

Gary bent down and lowered his head, pressing his forehead against Celeste's.

"You don't want me to leave, do you?" His thin lips were slightly curved.

Celeste nodded.

Gary smiled.

It seemed that he was particularly satisfied with her answer.

"I'll stay here for more than a month," He finally told her how long he was staying here.

Celeste didn't expect him to stay here for so long. She immediately grew excited, but she didn't say anything. She just looked at him with a warm smile in her eyes.

"I'll stay with you for the whole month. Are you satisfied?" Gary distanced himself a little and asked her.

Celeste nodded. When she saw his handsome face in front of him, her heart couldn't help but leap in joy as she reached out to hug him.

Gary was moved as his eyes locked onto hers.

"I applied for a Ph.D. at Oxford," Celeste told him, "I didn't expect you to come. I suddenly feel like going to Boston now."

Gary was startled.

Celeste felt regretful and sad as she sighed, "I thought about applying for my major in the United States, but I didn't know what you would think about my decision. Eventually, I didn't apply for one." Now, she could not apply anymore.

This was because the application deadline was already over. If she were to apply again, she would have to wait for another year.

Upon hearing this, Gary exerted a bit more strength and pulled her closer to him.

He could feel Celeste's reliance and attachment to him.

It was rare for her not to hide it.

He also knew that she was not a girl who was good at expressing her feelings.

Gary didn't say anything. Instead, he held on tightly to Celeste.

Celeste buried her face in his neck and whispered affectionately, "Four years ago, I didn't know much about the world and didn't understand what you meant. But now that I understand it, I'll be separated from you."

Gary was taken aback again.

Celeste raised her eyes a little as her pink lips brushed past Gary's neck.

All of a sudden, his body tensed up.

His Adam's apple bobbed up and down as his breathing became rapid. He looked at the girl in front of him with a deep gaze and said, "I will come to visit you often."

"I know," She nodded.

However, she still didn't want to be separated from him. Maybe it was because they were officially together that her heart wasn't as strong as before.

"Then what is there to worry about?" Gary asked softly.

Celeste did not speak.

After pausing for a while, she looked up and gave him a kiss on the lips

At that moment, Gary's eyes were full of surprise. His arms around her waist tightened involuntarily.

Celeste fell silent.

They cuddled together and lay on the bed she had been sleeping in for the past four years. He looked down at her with excitement and emotion. "Did you know?" Gary leaned over and whispered, "After video calling you countless times, I imagined that one day I would be with you like this." Celeste's heart trembled and she felt her legs go weak.

She didn't dare to look at him, but she could see how Gary expressed his love for her, little by little. He was gentle and caring.
