The Twin Alphas’ Fated Mate
Fated to a Fae Epilogue

~Mercury-

Premonitions are a crazy thing. It's hard to believe I saw my life and the lives of people around me before it happened. The first thing I did with Elliot and Arthur was take care of the s*x trafficking scheme Ivan had going. Ivan didn't know I existed yet, so it made it very easy for the police to find him and all his accomplices. With Ivan in jail, it relieved some stress I had about him and what he could have done.

After all that was done, I figured out the exact day Jereth was dropped off at the Fire Fae tribe. He had said in my premonition that Selenia was 5 days old. I knew when her birthday was and 5 days later, I waited outside of the Earth Fae tribe and saw Selenia's parents. I knew it was them because Selenia is a spitting image of her mother. I stopped them and offered to take the baby. They looked skeptical, but I made sure to convince them I'd never contact them about the baby and no one would ever know where the baby came from. They handed him over to me with no issues and I went home.

Elliot and Arthur were quite mad when I told them about their father leading the rogues. When I explained everything, they came up with a plan to speak to Lyle. We invited him to the pack and told him everything. Greta helped me explain to him that if he followed in his father's footsteps, he wouldn't survive. I've seen his future. He dies. By my hands. Lyle seemed to want to be Alpha more than he wanted me for his bride, so once he was convinced, he asked us to help get rid of his father in exchange for the baby that Garret had with Tonya. Lyle knew where they kept him and said he could easily get to him. We agreed and Kaden was delivered safely to us. During all of this, I met Caleb and Ned. I was instantly friends with Ned, as predicted. Lyle released him as his Beta and Lyle chose someone else to be his Beta. We invited Ned and Caleb to come stay at Red River pack.

Once Lyle was prepared, Elliot and Arthur helped him take down Alpha Henry and my birth mother, Maria. They did it while he was in a meeting with Garret, so the twins took care of their father at the same time. It was like two birds with one stone. They later went to where the rogue pack was and they got Tonya and Jerald before they became a future problem.

I found out I was pregnant not long after. I already knew before Greta confirmed. The timeline added up. Because of the pregnancy and us now having Kaden, Ned and Caleb offered to take in Jereth. They instantly took a liking to him and, since they can't biologically have their own children, it made sense for them to adopt. Jereth was ecstatic. I could tell he missed his family, but it's better to have him with us than with the Fire Fae.

Years passed with us making more allies. Lyle actually became a good friend of ours, surprisingly. He found his actual mate and she's very sweet and an amazing Luna. They had a daughter two years after Max was born.

After I gave birth to Rhett and Blake, I started getting worried about my children's mates. I didn't tell my children I knew how their future was going to be, just in case they tried to change it themselves. Max and Kaden go through so much pain when they meet their first mates. I wanted to spare them from that. I did everything I could to talk to the Moon Goddess about it, telling her not to make the mistake of pairing Max and Kaden with the wrong people first. I had a dream before Max came back from Alpha training that Jaclyn and Penny would never become their mates. Trusting my gut and that my dreams have never steered me wrong before, I allow Max to bring a girl home when he asks. The girl ends up being Jaclyn, but she ended up not being Kaden's mate. This made me hopeful and when it came time for Max, Kaden and Devin to go to Alpha Austen's ceremony, I sent them knowing Max wouldn't have to meet Penny and that Kaden and Devin would come home with their mates. They were extremely happy coming home with Kai and Aubrey and I made sure to have Ava 'coincidentally' be with us when they arrived home. Max and Ava locked eyes and they've been inseparable ever since. My oldest children were mated with the people they were supposed to be with and I was happy.

Before Greta passed, I had her help me cast a locating spell to find Silas. I guess he outsmarted us and found out someone was trying to find him. He showed up one day in my office, asking me why I was trying to find him and who I was. I explained my premonition to him and his significance in our lives. He told me he saw no reason for me to lie and we became good friends. He got to meet Greta, which he hadn't got to before, because she had passed away in my premonition before we met Silas. But because Greta was still alive, she scolded Silas about his mate. Silas seemed embarrassed, but he agreed that he hated living away from Ryul. I asked him if he wanted us to try to help him talk to Ryul. We ended up finding him, and although Ryul didn't seem too thrilled with us all trying to convince him his love for Silas should come before Silas, he did agree that he had limited time left and wanted to spend it with Silas. He said he would remain neutral. He wouldn't help us, nor be against us should anything happen. Elliot and Arthur said it was better than being against us and we made a truce. Silas seems much happier with Ryul by his side and Ryul doesn't seem so cold-hearted.

When Rhett and Blake got older, I warned them about dating around. I knew Blake was only interested in his mate, but talking to them both was easier than telling them I knew how their future played out. When I saw Nicole trying to hang off of Rhett all the time, I made sure Rhett knew she was not welcome if she was only after one thing. I think he got tired of me nagging him all the time and complained to his brothers. They all reminded him casters know things they don't. He eased off and stopped showing interest in Nicole. I guess the lack of attention turned her away and she ended up leaving him alone.

Growing up, Jereth became really good friends with all my children. He became like their big brother. He often asked about his sister and we knew he had snuck off the day the Greythorns were all murdered to protect her. Caleb and Ned understood this was something he had to do and they followed him to keep him safe without him knowing. Selenia survived and Jereth was dying to meet her again by the time Rhett and Blake turned 18. I sat down with Max and told him about the premonition at that point. He understood why we had kept it a secret and why we were telling him now that he was Alpha. I informed him that Jereth needed his sister and his brothers would end up being mated to her. Max agreed it was important to get to Selenia before Sear Darkvale decided he wanted her.

On Rhett and Blake's 18th birthday, Max took Kaden, Devin, Jereth, Rhett, Blake and Atlas to the Earth Fae village. Atlas met Reef and the twins met Selenia. Laurel had not been in contact with Sear yet, so there was no reason for Selenia to stay. She was elated to meet her long lost brother and her mates. They brought both Selenia and Reef back to the pack.

It's been 24 years since I had my premonition. I feel like I got a second chance at life. It's crazy how much I was able to change the bad things that were supposed to happen. I made sure to just prevent them from ever happening. Sometimes I get scared I'll wake up and find out this was just another dream. We are so happy with the life we have created for ourselves, it sometimes feels like this isn't real. But it is. This is our life. And we are going to make the most of it.
