The Twin Alphas’ Fated Mate
Fated to a Fae Chapter 27

~Mercury-

Sear has an iron grip on Selenia's head. She can't even use her magic. None of us can. One quick movement and it's over for her. There's nothing we can do.

"Let her go." Blake says in a deadly voice. Rhett is fuming, too angry to even speak. I look across at Silas. He looks hopeless standing next to Ryul. I look back at my mates. They're just as angry as our children. Selenia is one of us now. She's our daughter and this is her life on the line.

I think back to what brought us to this situation. How we kept Sear in the dungeon without even thinking about who could be helping him and how we could have avoided this whole situation if we had gone a different route. Thought a little harder about what we were doing and maybe this mistake couldn't have happened. For more free novels, visit FindNovel.net

"I warned you." Sear sneers at us. "I warned all of you. I told you she was mine. She was promised to me. But then you had to go and ruin her. And then you had the audacity to take my second in command away from me. Somehow convinced him this worthless little girl was more important than his duty to me. You mutts will learn. You don't mess with Sear Darkvale."

Blake and Rhett waste no time. They charge at Sear, screaming at him to let her go. My other children try to stop them. Max and Kaden grab them, Jereth and Devin try to move in front of them, but it's too late. The twins push past and run at Sear. To save their mate.

"Wrong move." Sear says. His hands start to glow red and the panicked look on Selenia's face tells us all we need to know.

He's going to use his magic to kill her.

Everything feels like it goes in slow motion from that point on.

The twins keep running.

Everyone is screaming.

My mates look as hopeless as Silas.

We've been defeated.

My ears seem to stop working for a moment as everything goes quiet.

But that doesn't last long.

The next thing I hear is a blood-curdling scream.

And then...darkness.

I gasp in a breath. I feel like I've been standing here forever. I look down at my sink. The water is still running. I'm still holding my toothbrush. I rinse it off and turn the water off. I look into the mirror. That was the weirdest daydream I've ever had in my life. It really felt like I had just lived 23 years of my life. But my reflection says I'm still 18. Still living at home. And today is my last day of high school.

I go back to my room and I have this uneasy feeling. What if that wasn't a daydream? What if it was a premonition? Like something was telling me what was about to happen. I mean, the dream did start today. I was kidnapped on my last day of school.

It's too risky. I can't go to school if what I just dreamt was true. What if I actually get kidnapped? But then I guess that way I'd know if everything else was true or not. If I'm actually a caster. If werewolves and warlocks and fae are real...

The dream was so vivid. I feel like I'd know where to go if I tried to find the pack from the dream.

What if...

I grab my phone off my bed. I quickly search up plane tickets from Wyoming to Philadelphia. I find a cheap one that leaves in a couple of hours. f**k it, right? I mean, I'm not going to school and my dad won't even notice I'm gone. I have all this money my mom left me so I can pay for the flight myself. And if the pack isn't there, I'll just come home. No harm done. Better than waiting to see if I get kidnapped.

I grab my duffle bag and shove some clothes and essentials into it. I get dressed and grab my phone and keys. I peek into the living room and my dad is passed out on the chair. I walk over and kiss his forehead.

"See ya, Dad." I whisper. I turn and look around the room. I give my childhood home one last look, just in case I never see it again. My eyes land on the mantle over the fireplace. A picture of me, my mom and my dad a few years before Mom got sick. We're all smiling and laughing, probably at some cheesy joke Dad said. I can't even remember who took the photo.

I grab the photo off the mantle and put it in my bag before I turn and head for the door.

After my four-hour flight, I hail a cab and we drive about an hour outside of the city. I don't want to get too close to where the pack should be, just in case. This guy is most likely human.

I shake my head. I'm already acting as if this whole dream was true. I'm worried about whether a human sees the gates to the pack. Maybe I'm human and I'm just crazy, like I've always thought. I guess we'll see.

I tell the cab drive to pull over on the side of the road about a mile from where the turn off to the pack should be. He gives a strange look, but complies. I pay him and give him a good tip before he takes off. I pull my duffle bag over my shoulder and set out.

It takes me about 25 minutes to reach the turn off. I stop for a moment, taking it in. Okay, the turn off is here. Now it's time to keep walking to see if I find anything.

Another half an hour goes by when I start to see a wall. And gates. Holy st. This is not f***g real. It's here. It's really here.

I slowly walk up to it, not even believing my own eyes. Before I make it all the way up, someone jumps down from the wall. I recognize him from the dream immediately. It's Beck.

"You are trespassing! You need to turn around and go back to where you came." Beck says. I smile, knowing that's what he said to me the very first time I met him in my dream. Of course, I was much more bruised and battered then.

"Hi, I'm sorry. I don't mean to trespass. I'm just looking for Elliot and Arthur Anderson." I say.

Beck looks at me skeptically.

"Do you have a meeting?" He asks.

"Uh, no. I just need to speak with them." I say.

"They don't take visitors without an appointment. Set one up and come back." Beck turns to walk away, but I grab his arm.

"No, please. If they aren't busy, please ask them to see me. Five minutes is all I need. It's urgent." I beg him. Beck looks me in the eyes, as if the see if I'm a threat or not. I don't really know how to convince him, so I just tell him the truth. "I'm a caster. I had a premanition that your Alphas were my mates. I came to see if that was true. If they're not my mates, I will leave."

Beck's eyes go wide. "A premanition? About Alpha Elliot and Alpha Arthur?"

"Beck, what's going on down there?" A familiar voice yells. I look up at the tower and see Jack in the open window. I see movement behind him before Jack is pushed out of the way. My heart nearly skips a beat as Ellliot's face comes to the window. My legs suddenly feel weak and I falls to my knees, dropping my bag beside me.

Elliot disappears from the window and quickly reappears on the ground floor, slamming open the door. Arthur is right behind him, followed by Jack. They come over to me faster than

expected.

"Mate." Elliot and Arthur say at the same time. Elliot scoops me up, causing sparks to radiate over my body. Arthur stands back a bit, looking a little shocked. They're both more beautiful

than I could have imagined.

"You're real. I can't believe you're real." I say quietly. Elliot gives me a questioning look.

"Did you come here not expecting to find us or something?" Elliot asks.

"I had a dream about you this morning. I don't know how. I somehow knew exactly to find you

and I decided to just come here." I tell him.

"Well, we're real. You're here now. And I think I want to keep you." Elliot says with a smirk. I

smile and turn to look at Arthur.

"Arthur." I say quietly and he takes a step back.

"You know our names and which one of us is which?" Arthur asks. I nod and hold out my hand for him. He looks at it for a second before looking back at me.

"In my dream, you didn't want me as a mate until you felt the sparks of the mate bond." I say, moving my hand closer to him. Arthur hesitates before taking my hand. He gasps at the contact. He looks into my eyes before grabbing me from Elliot. He kisses me hard, making me

moan softly.

"Shit." Arthur says against my lips. He turns and heads back to the guard tower. Elliot kicks everyone out as Arthur slams me against the wall.

"Yeah, we're f*g keeping you." Arthur whispers into my neck. "But you have some explaining to

do."

"Tell us about this dream." Elliot comes up beside us. I smile at them both.

"You're probably going to want to sit down. I have so much to tell you."
