Chapter 28

We stay here at the wolf Fang pack for almost three days. Every day, my love for Gabriel get stronger. I see how he try to be helpful here. Even Kayden approves him now and tell me to accept him fully. I told him that I already did.

I’m staring at him while he is helping Andrew fixing the roof of Elizabeth house. A lot of girls started to gather around and stare at him. I hear them giggles and compliment how handsome my mate is. I want to scold them but I stop myself. Gabriel doesn’t give then even a little glance. He will look at me from time to time and smile.

That is the last house to fix. After that we can go back to the pack. Lani called many times. She’s complaining about being an acting Luna. She and Michael are the acting Alpha and Luna while Gabriel and I still here.

After they finish in their last tasks, Gabriel jumps down from the roof and run to me. He k!sses me and I saw the girls face falls. They didn’t know that Gabriel is my mate. I didn’t tell the pack. Mark will tell them after we left that I’m no longer the acting Luna of the pack.

“Let’s go inside. You need to take shower. We will leave today.” I said.

“Really? I though we will leave tomorrow?”

“Mark told me to leave. We’re here for almost a week now and Lani keeps calling me and complaining.”

He laughs. It’s like a music in my ears.

“I’m happy to know that you will now staying in the pack. I will call Michael to prepare the ceremony for your appointment as my Luna when we go back.” He says.

“I can imagine how Lani will complain again. She will be busy preparing for my ceremony.” I said.

“They can handle it. I can’t wait any longer.” He says.

I smile.

“Go now. I will talk to Mark for a moment.”

He k!ssed my forehead before he leaves.

I went to Mark office.

“Marky? Can we talk for a moment?” I ask.

“Sure come in.”

“Like you suggested, Gabriel and I will leave tonight. Are you really okay now?”

“Angel, I’m fine.” He stands and hugs me. “I will miss you but we can still see each other and you can still visit this pack anytime.”

I hug him back. “I will miss you Marky. Please hold on. I can feel something good will happen to you. Just wait for a while okay?”

“I will. Don’t mind me.”

“I can’t do that. For me, you are my brother, my savior, my teacher and my Alpha. You will always be in my heart.” I said.

“Let’s not be sentimental here.” He says and we both laugh.

We left the Wolf Fang pack using Gabriel’s friend chopper. I hug Mark, Kayden, Lea, Simon, Aden and Andrew for the last time before we finally leave. I cry on my way back to the Moon Crescent pack. My new life begins today. I will be delegate as the Luna tomorrow. Lani called and told me that everything is ready. She even prepares my dress.

When we get to the pack we went straight to our room and rest. Tomorrow will be a very busy day.

I wake up the next morning with a rushing sound behind our room. Gabriel is still sleeping beside me but wakes up when someone knocks on our door.

He stands up and open the door. Lani is waiting outside.

“Alpha Gabriel, Luna Angel, you still have two hours before the ceremony starts.” Lani says.

I quickly stand up.

“What the hell? What time it is now?” I ask.

“It’s six in the evening now. You both sleep the whole day. We didn’t disturb you because you know that you are both exhausted.” Lani explains.

“Okay, give me us a moment.” I said.

“I’m sorry to say that I can’t do that. Alpha, your clothes are already in our room. You can go there now and prepare. Michael will need you while Angel and I will stay here. I will help her get ready.” Lani said in a serious tone.

Both Gabriel and I laugh but he follows her. “I’ll see you later.” He said before he leaves the room.

“Luna, take a shower now. I will bring your dress here.”

“Yes Ma’am!” I salute. “Right away Ma’am.”

“You’re crazy. Go on, I’ll be back.” Lani says.

She closed the door and I take a bath. Like last time, Lani fix my hair and make-up. She keeps complaining on how busy she is just to make this day perfect. She prepares a beautiful white dress for me. The Luna ceremony is like a wedding ceremony in the human world but here only b***d ties will happen as Gabriel will share our b***d. After that some ritual of the elders and prayers to the Moon Goddess.

“You look amazing now. I can’t wait to see you outside later.” Lani says.

“I’m nervous and excited at the same time.”

“Why?”

“Because I’m afraid that the pack will not fully accept me.” I said.

“Angel, the pack already accepted you. You worried for nothing. Now wait here. I will call you later if the ceremony started.” Lani says.

“Okay.”

Lani left the room and I begin to think how my future will Gabriel will look like. I want to have kids after two years. We will move to our house when I get pregnant and let Michael and Lani stay in the pack house.

I’m daydreaming when I hear the door open. I thought that Lani is back and will tell me to follow her but before I can even turn and welcome her, I feel someone stab me in the back. I feel something injected to me and I start to feel dizzy. I’m trying ask help for Slade but I can’t feel her. I tried to call Gabriel but my power is not working.

What is happening? Who did this?
