The Rejected Mate (Slade Angel)
Chapter 29

I feel something wrong. Claw and I feel different. I don’t know how or why but we feel somehow bothered. I tried to contact Angel but I can’t reach her.

‘Alpha, did you see Angel?’ Lani asks through pack link.

‘No. I though you’re with her.’

Now I understand why I’m feeling like this. It’s about Angel.

‘I left her to see what’s happening outside, but when I came back, she’s gone.’

I run to our room and see Michael and Lani there.

“Alpha, I saw this letter here. It seems like someone kidnapped my sister.” Michael said.

I open the letter.

This girl will die and you will feel how painful it is to lose something you wanted for so long.

“Do you have any idea who will do this?” I ask.

“I’m thinking about Danna but she’s not here anymore. We send her to Full moon pack the day Angel almost killed her.” Michael said.

“Michael, call the Full Moon pack and ask if Danna is there. I will alert the pack to search for her. They can’t leave the pack that easily.” I said.

“Yes, Alpha.” Michael moves and everyone become busy finding Angel. I alert all patrol warriors in our borders to block it and don’t let anyone out. Surely, who did this will not be gone that far.

“Alpha, Amelie and Antoine are looking for you.” Levi says.

Antoine and Amelie look worried and afraid at the same time.

“Why? what happened?” I ask.

They look at each other and remain silent.

“I don’t have time right now. If this is not important please help the pack to look for Angel. She’s been kidnapped.” I said. I’m about to leave when Amelie grab my hand.

“Alpha, I need to tell you something. I think we know who kidnapped our Luna.” Amelie.

“It’s our daughter, Kisha.” Antoine says.

“Kisha? Why would she do that to Angel?”

“She’s been acting weird since she came back here. She told us that she is the Luna of the pack and not Angel. We talked to her to make her realize that she’s not going to be a Luna here. She gets mad and started to act different. Today I saw her get some medicine in the clinic and when I asked her what she will do with those, she just left and didn’t answer my question. I check the inventory to know what kind of medicine she gets and I found out that its wolfsbane. I’m afraid that she used that to Angel, that’s why you can’t communicate with her. She will temporarily lose her wolf and power.” Amelie explains.

This is dangerous. I need to find my mate as soon as possible before something bad happens to her. I already lose her for two years, now, I might lose her forever.

“You know the consequences of her actions. If something bad happens to Angel, I will not hesitate to kill her.” I said.

“We understand Alpha. I hope we can stop her before she can do worse.” Antoine.

“Alpha! I called Full Moon pack, they told me that Danna wasn’t there. She left yesterday. They let her because she said she will attend Angel’s ceremony.” Michael said.

“sh!t! This is a big problem if Kisha and Danna helps one another to hurt my mate.” I said.

I turn to look at Amelie.

“Do you know where Kisha might hide Angel?”

She thinks for a while and then look at Antoine.

“There’s a place where she always visits when she’s a kid. She told me that a woman always talks to her there. We check that place but there’s no one living there. We thought that she might have a brain problem that’s why we send her to Full Moon pack to be check by the oldest healer we know.” Antoine says.

“Where is that?”

“There’s an abandon house outside the south border near the town.” Antoine says.

“Michael, bring five of our best fighters. We don’t know if it’s only Danna and Kisha there.” I order.

“Yes Alpha.” Micahel answers.

“Let’s go now.”

Slade Angel Point of view

I wake up with massive headache. What happened to me?

‘Slade? What happened?’ I ask but she didn’t reply.

Actually, I feel different. It’s like I didn’t feel her at all.

What’s happening? Why can’t I feel my wolf and why I am here?

I look around the area. It’s an old house for sure. Thing inside are full of spider web and dust.

“Finally! Our b!tch is awake now.” I hear Danna says. She enters the room with Kisha.

“Kisha? Why are you here… wait, did you help her to do this to me?”

“And why not? You took what’s mine. I am supposed to be the Luna of Moon crescent pack. Gabriel promise that position to me.” Kish says.

“Kisha wake-up! You know it will never happen. You’re not Gabriel’s mate, I am. I have every right to become Luna.” I answer.

She slaps me in the face and kick my side.

“I can be his chosen mate but you came back and ruin everything.” Kisha says.

I hear Danna laugh and now clapping.

“This is ridiculous scene right now.” Danna says.

“Danna! How can you use Kisha to hurt me?”

“I didn’t do that. I just told her that I don’t like you and you stole Gabriel from me too and we become friends. We plan this day since you are all over yourself in being Luna and Gabriel’s mate.” She says.

“You two are the same. Now I know why Gabriel didn’t like you two.”

“Don’t start with me now Angel. You can’t do anything to us, specially that your wolf isn’t present.” Danna says.

“What did you do?” I ask.

“Oh, I didn’t come up with that. She did.” Danna pointed to Kisha.

I remember something injected to me and makes me feel dizzy ang lost consciousness.

“Kisha? What did you inject me? Why can’t I feel my wolf?”

I started to panic. She didn’t ….. she didn’t kill my wolf, right?

“I need your legendary wolf leave the picture for a while. I injected wolfsbane in your body, but don’t worry, it’s just a proper amount to keep her sleep for a while.” She says.

Thank goodness that Slade is still alive and just unconscious inside of me. I need time to wait for her to comeback.

Well, I still can kill this two even I don’t have wolf but it’s much better and less hassle if Slade’s with me.

“Why didn’t you kill me there? Why do you need to bring me here?” I ask.

“Someone wants to see you. She helps us to get to you without even notice by the people inside the pack.” Kisha says.

“And who is she?” I ask. I wonder who’s this third person who wanted me dead too. I didn’t know that I got a lot of enemies.

“We can’t tell who she is. She’s powerful enough to kill us both if we tell you. What matter to us is that you are here now. She will take care of you. We’re just waiting for her to arrive and live you with her hands.” Danna says.

Who is she? Who is this person that wants to kill me? She helps them? She’s powerful? That caught my interest.

I don’t have my ability now to know if there’s another wolf outside. I need to start to plan before this girl they talk about comes.

‘Slade! Slade! Please wake up! Help me! Wake up.’ I shouted inside me.

Still no response from her.

I hope Gabriel finds me before it’s too late.
