HALF AN HOURS AGO,

Aaron was setting things about the election. He talked with every authority who had powers to vote in elections. He warned them if they vote against Aaron’s will, Aaron would kill them or their family.

At first they were thinking about the whole kingdom and hesitated but when they heard about their family, they understood King Atlas had no power now all the power was under King Aaron. They knew how dominant and brutal he was, so they agreed with him and told him that they would vote for Alina.

Aaron was feeling relaxed. Though he was the king, there were some rules and regulations too which his ancient kings were following them from the start.

The king had to rule both realms and one of them was the most powerful rank, Lycan.

“Is everything set up?” Beta Lucas came and asked.

Aaron came out of his thoughts and nodded.

Beta Lucas asked, “We still have three hours. Should we prepare for the wedding or the Crown Ceremony first?”

Aaron looked at him. “Crown Ceremony. I promised her last night that only she will be my Queen. I have solved everything. We will complete the Crown Ceremony first and then we will start the wedding.”

Beta Lucas smiled at Aaron.

“Dude, I can’t believe you are in love. You have fallen for her. Did you tell her?”

Aaron shook his head. “When she will see I’m giving her the best position in my kingdom. She will understand by herself.”

“Yes, right. She is a sweetheart. She deserves it because she doesn’t have any greed for the position.”

Aaron leaned his back on his chair.

“Hmm. The main thing I like about her is that she is not greedy. She is different from other women. She wants me and feels insecure about me. When I told her last night that we will marry first, she was angry and thought I will marry other women later. But then she understood me and she calmed down. She knew my dad would create problems for her but still did not talk bad about him to me. She is my woman. I will always cherish her.” Aaron said and smiled.

“Oh no. Our King is in love. Don’t lose any war next time while thinking about your love.” Beta Lucas said and laughed.

They talked about all the arrangements they made for today.

All the ceremonies were held on Night.

Because they were night creatures. They felt like only night was the best time for mating and wedding or any royal work.

Aaron and Beta Lucas were talking with each other when the door burst open.

Aaron and Beta Lucas both turned their heads to the door.

Gamma George had come. He was the one who opened the door.

Before Aaron and Beta Lucas could ask him anything Gamma George shouted.

“AARON YOU HAVE TO COME WITH ME NOW.

Aaron and Beta Lucas immediately stood up and followed Gamma George hurriedly.

Gamma George took them to the backside of the pack house.

It was dark everywhere because it was evening time.

Aaron saw his mother sitting on the ground with his father resting his head on his mother’s lap.

He went to her mother. “Mom? What happened?”

He saw her mother was crying and his father’s eyes were closed. His eyes fell on his father’s chest where a pure wooden stake was stabbed there.

His eyes widened.

“DAD!!!!”

He bent down and shook his father’s body. “Dad? Who did this to you? What happened to you? Wake up. No, you can’t die. Your son is still alive. You can’t die like that!” Aaron said while his eyes glowing red in rage.

“He is dead.” Delta Darren said and looked away from Atlas’s dead body.

All the officials were there and they did not let any maid enter.

“Who did this? Who Did This??? Aaron asked angrily. He wanted to know who dared to do this.

He was the ruthless Lycan king. Who did not think about him and dared to do this with his father?

Daisy looked at her son and replied, “I saw her. I saw with my own eyes, Aaron.” Daisy said that and tears rolled down from her eyes.

Aaron went more furious. He wiped his mother’s tears and told her. “Who is she? I promise you, I will kill her.”

Daisy looked away from her son and shook her head. She bit her lips and cried. She could not believe her eyes what she had seen.

Flashback

Daisy was getting all the things ready for her son’s wedding. She prepared her royal jewelry to give to her daughter in law.

Atlas told her that he was not feeling well today. Daisy thought maybe he did not want Alina and Aaron to get married with each other so he was thinking too much about it.

Then Atlas went out of the room. Daisy took out her dress which was also designed by the same royal designer.

Daisy was the former Queen. She needed to stay like that. The royal family had a reputation. Every Alpha from a different pack would come today with their family for the wedding.

Daisy did not know that Aaron was planning for the Crown Ceremony so she thought it was only the wedding ceremony.

There were still four hours left until the ceremony. It was only the evening time. They would start the function at night.

She called all the makeup artists who would come to dress up and get the bride ready. They told her they would come in an hour. Daisy thought three hours were enough to get ready for Alina.

After some time she felt strange. Her wolf was howling inside her. She understood that her wolf was behaving like that for her mate. She felt that her mate was in danger.

She immediately asked the maids if they saw Atlas. But all the maids were busy with the wedding so they could not tell about Atlas.

Daisy went corner to corner for Atlas and lastly she felt her mate’s scent which was coming from the backside of the pack house.

Daisy went there and saw the most shocking thing.

A girl in a white bridal gown was holding a wooden stake. Her husband Atlas was lying on the ground.

Daisy’s eyes widened. She shouted, “NO!”

Before she could run to the side where they were, The girl tried to stab the wooden stake to her husband’s chest.

Atlas struggled and scratched her hand upside her palm with his claws which were out already for attack.

Daisy ran to them.

The girl looked powerful and she mumbled something to him.

Immediately Atlas let go of his hand as if he went numb and the girl stabbed his chest mercilessly.

“NO! DON’T HURT HIM.” Daisy screamed.

Her wolf was howling sadly for her mate. She was not a Lycan but an Alpha female. Her wolf was not strong and could feel the pain of her mate. But Lycans were different, they could not feel their mate’s pain, they could avoid anything they wanted.

When Daisy almost went to them. The girl stood up hurriedly and turned her head to the other side.

Daisy could see her face.

She was stunned. The girl ran to the other side and left.

All the things happened so fast that Daisy could not realize anything.

She wanted to go after the girl but she looked at her mate who fell on the ground.

She tried to put out the stake but her mate whimpered in pain.

They were in the back side hall where nobody came for anything. Only in the time of war, if any pack fighter could not fight for his health injury and needed to stay safe they could come here for safety. No one came to the back side to fight.

“Dai-Daisy.”

“My love, what happened to you. How can I save you? Please wait, I am calling the pack doctor right now. He will save you.”

Though Daisy knew it was impossible to save him, she wanted to try.

She did not come here with her phone.

So she tried to stand up but Atlas grabbed her arm.

“What honey? You will be fine. I just go and come back with some help. Nothing will happen to you.”

“HELP!” Daisy screamed for help so she did not have to go anywhere and someone would come to help.

Atlas tried to say something and took deep breaths.

“What do-do you want to say Atlas?” Daisy said.

She took his head on her lap and cried.

Atlas took a deep breath and said,

“A-Alina” He then shook his head then again spoke “Q-Queen-“

Before he could complete he lost his breath and closed his son’s eyes slowly.

“NO!!! ATLAS!!!!” Daisy shouted aloud and cried.

Delta Darren and Gamma George heard her scream when she screamed ‘Atlas’. They were going outside for some work. Today all of them were very busy with a lot of work. All the people were busy and thinking about going to the back side on this busy day was not reasonable for anyone.

But when they heard screams they hurriedly went to Daisy and saw what had just happened there. Daisy was crying in front of Atlas.

Gamma George ran to Aaron to call him there.

Aaron asked his mother, “Mom, tell me who did this?”

Daisy was silent. She could not reply.

“Tell me, Mom. You said you saw that girl. Who dared to do this?”

Aaron’s eyes were glowing. He wanted to kill the girl from his bare hand. ‘Whoever you are, I will kill you. I will not let you go. You will die soon.’ He thought.

Daisy looked at her son.

“She-She is-“

Daisy’s voice was trembling. She did not know how to tell this to her son. It would change her son forever.

“I am asking you who did this Mom?”

Daisy took a deep breath and replied,

“ALINA.”
