“ALINA.”

Aaron was shocked by Daisy’s answer.

He immediately stood up. “What are you saying?”

Daisy could not stand up because Atlas’s head was resting in her lap.

“I saw her with my own eyes, Aaron.” Daisy said angrily.

Aaron and all his officials frowned. They could not believe it. They thought Daisy had some mistakes.

Beta Lucas came to Aaron and stood beside him. He looked at Daisy.

“Queen Mother Daisy, I think you are mistaking her for someone. She did not come out of her room today. I did not see her the whole day.”

Daisy explained to them all the incident and said,

“She killed my husband in front of my eyes. I wanted to attack her that time but I could not because he was alive at that time.”

Aaron was listening to everything that his mother was saying. He tightened his fists.

Beta Lucas was speechless.

Daisy told them, “Atlas called Alina’s name and Queen last time before his death. Maybe he wanted to say that Alina did that to him because she wants to be the Queen.” Daisy said and cried while thinking about how his husband tried to tell her but could not complete it.

Beta Lucas tried to say something but Aaron stopped him.

“Lucas”

Beta Lucas turned to Aaron.

“Why are you pressuring her to change the name? Do you think my mom is lying??”

His mother was a dominant Queen. She was the most powerful lady Aaron had ever seen. Though she was an Alpha female, she could fight with Lycans proudly. He had never seen his mother cry like that. He could not believe his father who was scolding him last night was not alive.

He could not believe that Alina did that.

The woman who he wanted to cherish, the woman who he wanted to make his Queen, the woman who he only wanted to marry did all of this.

He knew how much his mother liked Alina. She was the only one who supported Alina when Aaron himself was against her.

He knew his mother could not lie to him.

Reality hit him. He remembered how Alina was behaving when he told her he would marry her first before the crown ceremony. He thought that time, she was insecure about him. But how wrong he was! She was insecure about the crown. She might have thought if she would marry him first and then the people would not let her be the Queen then. she would lose the position of the Queen forever.

He remembered his father telling Alina last night that if she wanted to become a Queen, she had to cross his dead body.

Aaron felt pain in his heart. He felt betrayed. He had never thought that he would get the biggest betrayal from his own mate.

The woman he had fallen for was the one who killed his father for the Crown.

‘How foolish I was! I even managed the whole kingdom to support you so that you can become the Queen. I wanted to surprise you tonight by starting the Crown Ceremony first. But what did you do? Killed my Dad because of the Crown? I thought you are not greedy, I thought you are different but no, you are not different. You are a vicious woman. You killed your mate’s father to become the Queen.’ Aaron thought. His eyes were glowing like a burning fire.

“Take Dad to the living room and arrange everything for his funeral.” He said.

Theta Cooper looked at him. “What about the ceremony? It is almost time. People will start to come soon.”

Aaron looked angrily at Theta Cooper.

Cooper stepped aback.

“Why are you even asking? Tell everyone that all the ceremonies are canceled. Their king is not going to marry anymore.”

“What about King Atlas? How to explain to others about his death?”

Aaron turned to his father who was lying down on the ground while resting his head on his mother’s lap.

“Don’t tell them about the murder.” He said.

Everyone gasped. They stared at Aaron.

Aaron continued, “Tell them that King Aaron has left this world peacefully while he was sleeping.”

Everyone understood that he did not want anyone to know about the murder because people would start to gossip.

Theta Cooper nodded and left from there to inform everyone.

Aaron and everyone went to the living room and some guards took Atlas’s body to the living room.

All the maids who were working in the pack house were Alpha and Beta females. They were loyal and afraid of the king. If they spilled any single thing they knew how King Aaron liked to kill people.

Aaron told some maid to call Alina there. The maid went to call them and came after fifteen minutes. They told him Alina said she was coming.

It had been half an hour since the maids called her, and she still had not come out of her room.

The suspicion became true. Aaron thought she was afraid to come out.

Aaron wanted to destroy everything but he was silent.

All the officials looked at him.

Delta Darren and Gamma George were standing beside each other.

“I can’t believe this. Alina could do this?” Delta Darren said to Gamma George.

All the officials liked Alina. They thought she was a childish girl but she could do this? They could not understand and believe it.

“I am also thinking about this. But the Queen Mother does not lie. She said she saw Alina with her own eyes.” Gamma George replied.

They were afraid of Aaron. They were upset that the former King had to die like this. Someone murdered him brutally. But the murderer was Alina which was a more shocking thing for them.

They killed their enemies mercilessly, but that was in the war. It was a one to one fight.

However, the way King Atlas died was unbelievable. They could have matched the puzzle that how Atlas argued with Alina last night.

There was one thing clear: Alina killed him because she wanted to become the Queen and king Atlas was the only obstacle in her way. So she cleaned it.

Aaron was very calm. Everyone stared at him. He looked at guards who were looking down, they never looked at the king while talking or anytime.

“Go and tell her to come out now.” Aaron told them with his deep voice.

The guards nodded and ran to call Alina.

After some minutes Alina came out and Aaron looked at her.

She was wearing a bridal gown.

He would be very happy to see her in this white gown if she had not done the sin. Her White gown was piercing his heart.

His mom told him everything. She did not forget to tell him about this gown. She said that Alina was in the bridal gown at that time.

Looking at Alina’s gown his jaw tightened.

Alina saw his father’s body which was in the coffin and pretended to be shocked. Aaron closed his eyes and sighed. ‘So all this time you were pretending with me? Your behavior, your personality, all of that was just pretends? Who are you? You are not the one I fell in love with.’

Beta Lucas looked at Aaron. He did not know what to say. He did not like Atlas. But he had never tried to kill him though he had a lot of reasons to kill him. Atlas had never cared about his officials’ lives. Because of him, Beta Lucas had to lose his father. He could not even talk with his father before he died. After that incident Atlas only gave his family money and told them his father did a great duty and it was the damage of his death.

He always hated that man. But he did not try to kill him ever because of his best friend. His best friend Aaron always supported him even if he had to overtake his father.

Last night when Atlas wanted to stop Aaron from accepting Alina and when Aaron overtook his father while supporting Alina, he was happy that time that his best friend was not the same as his father. He knew what love is and he had a heart though he was a powerful Lycan. Otherwise, Lycans were very dominating werewolves like Atlas. They even wanted to dominate their own mates.

He felt bad for Aaron. But he was very confused with all the things Daisy said. He could not believe that Alina was the murderer.

He wanted to find the flaws that they could not see.

‘How is it possible?’ He asked himself.

Aaron opened his eyes and saw his mother headed to Alina and slapped her face hard.

Her face turned to the side. She turned to his mother and tried to talk with her.

However his mother did not let her talk and shouted at her,

“HOW DARED YOU KILL MY HUSBAND?”
