“B-B***d?”

Alina touched his back and felt an arrow piercing his back.

Alina gasped. Her hands were shaking.

“Y-Your b-back!” She said with a trembling voice.

Aaron was taking deep breaths. He moved aside and looked at her. “]ust go back to the pack house and tell everyone about the attack.

“A-Attack?”

Aaron nodded. “The rogues have attacked our pack. Tell them to inform our Lycans.”

Alina nodded. When she was about to sit up she realized.

This full weight was on her.

She thought she could not leave him in this situation.

She had to be with him. She tilted her head and looked at the arrow and frowned.

“Who dared to attack this pack?” Alina said and touched the arrow again.

She tried to pull out but Aaron wheezed in pain. Alina took a deep breath and tried to get it out again.

“Don’t waste your time. It’s night time and they have not shifted yet. You can easily go back. Let me handle them.”

Alina shook her head. “No, I can’t leave you here alone.”

Aaron stood up with a g***n. He tightened his fists and jaw in pain.

Alina pulled out the arrow in one go.

“You are bleeding, What will I do now?” Alina panicked.

In the moonlight, she could see his torn shirt and rip the skin off his back.

Alina felt pain seeing him in pain.

“Let’s go.” He said and held her hand.

He ran with her. He had never run away from any war.

But this time was different.

He was running for his mate. She was an Omega, he could not just let her die in rogues’ hands.

“They are coming. Hurry up.” Aaron shouted.

Alina nodded. “You can’t come back here. Call the pack doctor. You need immediate treatment.”

Alina stopped and turned to him. She was angry. “Look at you. You are not well. Your breathing is too fast. How can you say that you can come back?”

Aaron shook his head and pulled her with him. He was about to run again but halted when he saw a few pairs of orange eyes.

Alina grabbed Aaron’s arm tight. “C-Connect mind link with your officials.”

“I can’t.”

“I can’t shift right now. My wolf is sick.” He muttered in a low tone.

Alina’s eyes widened. ‘What is he saying? He is a Lycan.

Can Lycans also be sick?’

Alina saw many wolves coming in front of them slowly.

They growled at Aaron.

Aaron pushed Alina behind him and glared at the wolves.

The rogues understood that he could not shift right now so they started to screech.

Alina did not know if she could connect with anyone or not. But she tried to open her mind and screamed inside her head.

Wolves started to attack Aaron but Aaron was physically very strong too. He was the king after all.

He punched the wolves and threw them to the trees. A wolf jumped on him and scratched his arm.

“AARON!”

Alina screamed in fear. A few wolves jumped on her too.

She tried to shift but there were many wolves and they did not let her shift. Tears were rolling down her cheeks.

She got very angry when she saw wolves biting Aaron’s leg.

He was tall and the wolves were short so they tried to bite his legs or hands.

Alina was well trained Luna. She learned many things from the ancient teachers and pack trainers. It was time to apply them.

Alina remembered every trick and tried them. She pushed the wolves with her elbows and hit them. She felt scratches on her collarbone but she did stop fighting.

After a few minutes, four giant wolves came fast to them and jumped into the fight.

Alina felt relaxed when she saw them. Aaron’s official finally came to save him.

“They heard my voice!’ Alina felt calm.

She looked around and tried to find Aaron. She saw many wolves lying on the ground, almost dead. She came to see Aaron’s situation. She saw some wolves biting and scratching his wounded back.

“Leave him!” She yelled at them.

A wolf who was bigger than the others growled at her. He gritted his teeth and his sharp teeth were showing. It gave a chill on Alina’s spine.

Two official wolves jumped on the wolf and bit his head and separated it from his body.

Looking at this other wolves were afraid of it. They stepped back.

Alina looked down at Aaron. Who was slowly closing his eyes? “What happened to you?? Are you in pain?”

Suddenly another wolf came to them and tried to hurt Alina. But Aaron grabbed Alina and swirled her body with him.

He again saved her. The wolf did not stop and tried to bite Aaron.

Alina was fuming. She glared at the wolf with all of her senses. The wolf stopped and started to howl as if something caged his body.

“You dared to kill my mate? I will kill you.” Alina said with her anger and narrowed her eyes.

The wolf fell to the ground while gr0aning.

All the officials witnessed the scene.

They kìlled the rogues one by one. Then they shifted back and ran to Aaron.

They saw his white shirt ripped off. His upper body was full of wounds. They frowned. The only question that was chanting in their mind was ‘Why didn’t he shift?’ He was enough to kill hundreds of wolves alone, His physical strength was enough to kill anyone. Then what made him so weak suddenly?

“Aaron?” Beta Lucas yelled. “What is wrong with you??

Why didn’t you fight back? ?”

Alina felt Aaron grabbing her body tightly with his arms as if his life was depending on her. He saved her the second time in the same night. He thought the wolf would kill her and he could not save her.

Alina felt scared when she saw him closing his eyes.

“DON’T CLOSE YOUR EYES, AARON.”
