“I have already marked you,

So you can’t leave me, Darling.”

Alina glared at him. “Stop calling me darling. I am no one to you.” She had lost all of her patience. She only wanted to talk to him as a king and his people.

She was talking to the man who broke her trust, who did not trust her, and who tried to kill her countless times.

Aaron pulled her and the distance between their bodies was erased.

“You are mine. I can not let you go. No matter what.” He gritted his teeth and said.

“Why? Why would I stay here? So that you can make me your slave again? Or do you want to use my body again?”

“Don’t yell at me. I can also yell.”

Aaron closed his eyes and tried to calm himself down.

“Darling, don’t do this right now.”

“What am I doing? I want to leave. I don’t want to be with you.”

“I am your mate, you have to live with me.”

Alina pushed him with all her strength.

Aaron remembered that Crystal said Alina fell for a pack fighter whom she dreamed about. He even asked all the pack fighters about it. But they denied knowing her.

“It was you, Aaron Robertson.

Hearing her answer, Aaron was confused.

“Yes, don’t be confused. It was you. I thought you were a pack fighter in our first meeting, Before I came to the pack I always had a nightmare. A black giant wolf with a pair of red eyes trying to kill me. I smelled him in my dream and when I met you in real life, I felt that it was you.”

Aaron was surprised to hear that. He did not know about those nightmares. He did not know that she knew him in her dreams.

“I knew you would have hunted me one day, but I ignored my dream and tried to accept you as my mate.

You behaved so rudely with me, and you neglected me but still, I tried my best to be with you.

When you told me you would make me your Queen. I was happy that I would be with you. I was not happy with the position but to be with you.

But look what I have got. Only distrust. I got the title of a royal sinner, s*x slave, a killer and what more!”

Aaron looked at her. “Can you give me a chance?”

Alina shook her head. “I am no one to give you a chance, my king. I hope you will get your best Queen. I am a mere pack member.”

“I can live with it, you don’t have to worry about me.”

Aaron held her hand. “But I can’t live without you.” He said to her softly.

Alina could not snatch her hand from his hold. Her heart was melting as she looked into his soft eyes. She averted his gaze and said,

“If you have cared for me a single bit in your life, then let me go. I will live my life abroad alone. When you, mark another woman, this mark will fade soon.”

Aaron cupped her cheeks. “If I want to mark another woman, I could have marked Selena, but in my heart, it was always you.”

Alina bit her lower l*p to control her tears. She did not want to cry anymore.

“I will leave tonight.” Alina pushed his hands slowly and turned her back to him.

“Please Aaron, let me be happy just once. I want to be happy in my life.”

She heard his deep voice.

“Will you be happy if you stay away from me?”

Alina took some moment to answer him back.

“Yes.”

The whole room became silent. Aaron spoke out after a few minutes,

“Okay then. You can leave tonight. I will not stop you.”

Aaron left and Alina turned around. She felt pain in her heart. She did not know if she really wanted to leave or not.

It was late at night.

Alina was looking at everyone with her sad eyes.

Everyone was there except Aaron. She smiled at everyone.

She turned to Daisy. “I am leaving now. Thank you so much for those times when you cared for me and gave me motherly love. Please take care of yourself.”

Daisy shook her head and joined her hands in front of her. “Don’t go, my child. I am sorry for everything we did for you. We are spell bounded otherwise it would have not happened.”

Alina held her hand. “I know. It was not your fault. It was not anyone’s fault. But I have to leave now. My time is over here. I have to go back to my world. I can’t stay here anymore. Royal life is not for me.”

Silvia hugged Alina. “Think before you do anything.”

“I have made my decision.”

“Then stay in the university. Don’t let others bully you and settle well.”

Alina nodded at her. She made her way to the officials.

“We will miss you, Alina.” Theta Cooper said.

Yes, you are a beautiful soul.” Gamma George said.

Alina thanked them for everything.

“Always remember my advice. Don’t fall for anyone’s trap again.” Delta Darren said.

Alina nodded to him but heard him again,

“You told me that you were blind to her, Aaron also blindly believed in his mother. She was just your friend but she was his mother, so you know it was not easy for him too.”

Delta Darren let out it in a lower voice so that Daisy could not listen to them, otherwise, she would get hurt.

Alina blinked her eyes a few times and did not reply to him.

Beta Lucas looked at her and patted her head. “You are mature enough to take your decisions. I just hope everything will be good with you from now on. You have endured a lot. I hope you will get your happiness soon.”

Alina smiled at him. “Take care of yourself and everyone, Lucas.”

Beta Lucas understood what she meant by ‘everyone’.

He replied, “I will take care of him.”

Alina ignored his words and waved at everyone for the last time.

She left the pack house and started to walk to the forest side.

She had to cross the border first. Then she could take a flight.

She was walking inside the forest. She felt someone’s presence behind her. Her legs stopped.

She felt him coming closer. She felt the smell and turned to him. “What are you doing here?”

Aaron looked at her. “I came to see you off.”

To where?”

To the border.”

“Why?”

“It is not safe. I opened the border for Lycans. Rogues can also enter now.”

Alina nodded and began to walk again. Aaron followed behind her.

Alina felt a strange pain just thinking that she was leaving him. Her wolf was howling because she did not want to be apart from her mate. Alina felt bad for her wolf.

She heard Aaron.

“Alina, I wanted to ask you a question for a long time. I know your answer. But I want to ask for my satisfaction.

“Will you be my Queen?”

Alina paused and turned to him and saw his upset face.

She was about to say No but before that, she saw his eyes widen.

Alina could not understand what was happening until she saw his white shirt become red.
