The Lycan King’s Rejected Queen Chapter 129

Alina opened her eyes. She looked at her closed door and then at her food.

She sat up. She heard each and everything that Crystal just said. She saw what Crystal just did with her food.

When Shaline came to her room a few minutes ago, she told her that Crystal was in the King’s residence. Alina told her if Crystal wanted to come, let her come inside, and told her to tell Crystal that she was sleeping.

Alina stared at her food. She got down from her bed and came out of her room.

‘I have to see what she will do tonight. Why did she mess with my food? She did the exact thing when she killed King Atlas. Did she plan to kill..’ Alina thought and her legs froze. She looked at the way where Daisy was staying.

She ran to the guards. “Did Crystal try to go inside?”

“The royal Witch?” One of the guards asked. Alina nodded.

“Yeah. But we did not let her enter. We will not let you enter too, slave.” The second guard replied.

Alina did not say anything more. She felt relieved that Daisy was okay and Crystal could not do anything to Daisy.

But Alina did not go back to her room. She walked out of the king’s palace and walked to the area where Crystal was living.

It was Alina’s advantage that Crystal was a witch and did not have the power of smelling. Otherwise, she would get to know that Alina was trying to spy on her.

Alina saw the whole pack house was dark. It was midnight. So everyone was sleeping. She stopped when Alina saw Crystal getting out of her room.

Alina hid behind a pillar. Crystal walked to another side.

Alina followed her very carefully. Her steps were very light.

Alina could see Crystal wearing a white messy fabric. Alina looked down at her dress. Her heart beat almost stopped. It was the same as hers.

Alina did not stop following her. She wanted to run to Aaron and told him about Crystal. But he was not in the pack house. She wanted to call the officials but if she went to call them, she would lose track of Crystal’s plan.

Alina saw Crystal stop. Alina hid again. Crystal turned around and saw there was no one then she again started to walk.

Alina also felt caught. She left a long breath. Crystal stopped in front of a door and knocked on the door.

Alina’s eyes widened when she saw Selena open the door.

“What happened, Crystal? What are you doing here at this hour? Is everything okay?”

Crystal nodded. “I want to show you something. Come and follow me.” Crystal said with a serious voice.

Selena thought Crystal might show something serious so she nodded and came out of her room. She closed the door and followed Crystal.

Alina shook her head and bit her lips. ‘No, no. Don’t go with her.’ She said in her mind but her voice was not coming out.

She followed them. Crystal took Selena outside of the pack house and they went to the back side where pack fighters took shelter during the war.

Every step Ava took made her body numb. Her mind was not working as if the whole area was spell bound.

She could not believe it was the same place where she came in illusion. It was the same place where Crystal killed king Atlas and put all blame on her head.

It was the same place where Daisy tried to save her husband but could not save him.

It was the same place that destroyed so many lives together.

Alina saw what was happening there. But her mind was processing something else. All the memory of the illusion coming through her mind gave her brain a sharp pain.

She touched her head and wheezed. She remembered what spells she learned from Melissa. Her lips chanted those spells without her realizing.

All the scenes were getting clear. She saw Crystal take Selena to another corner. Alina ran to them but froze when she saw Crystal turn to her directly.

Alina’s eyes widened. When she saw a wooden steak in Crystal’s hand. She got that, Crystal hid it in her dress all this time.

Selena frowned. “Did you take me here to meet Alina?”

Crystal did not look away from Alina. Alina also stared at Crystal’s hand.

“S-Selena.” Alina said.

“What?” Selena asked. She could not see the wooden steak because Crystal was facing Alina.

“SELENA, RUN AWAY FROM HERE.” Alina shouted.

Selena glared at Alina. She thought Alina was telling her to go away from the pack house and leave Aaron for her.

She got angry at Alina. “How dare you tell me to run away? I am not the one who killed the late king. It was you. You tried to run away once but now you could not. Just let me become the Queen, then you will see what I will do with you.”

Alina shook her head and slowly went closer to them.

“Y-You are not understanding. S-She will kill you.”

Selena narrowed her eyes. “Are you crazy what are you sa-“

Selena was talking and moving a bit but paused when her eyes fell on Crystal’s hand and the wooden steak. It was a killer weapon for werewolves. Her eyes almost came out.

“C-Crystal?”? Selena let out.

Alina was feeling furious when Selena did not run away but stood there like a doll.

“Pfft!”

Crystal laughed hard. She shook her head. “What did you think? You would follow me and I could not understand? Do you even know who I am? I am Crystal Graham, the daughter of Chloe Graham, the most powerful witch werewolves have ever seen.”

Alina stepped backward when she heard Crystal.

“Don’t kill her.” Alina’s voice came out in whispered.

“Who said I will kill her?” Crystal said.

Alina was confused. If Crystal did not want to kill then why did she take Selena there?

“What do you mean?” She asked.

Crystal chuckled.

“I am not the one who is going to kill her but you are the one who will kill her.

Just like you killed King Atlas.”
