“I am not the one who is going to kill her but you are the one who will kill her. Just like you killed King Atlas.”

Alina felt her heart almost stop. She shook her head. “Don’t. Don’t do this Crystal.”

Selena grabbed Crystal’s arm and turned her to her. “Talk to me. What did you just say? Will she kill me? What are you saying? You told me that you will show me something and here you are talking with her?”

Crystal smiled at Selena. “I was planning something else, honey. But this bitch became very clever after King Aaron marked her. She figured out my plan and destroyed it.”

Selena was confused. “You are confusing me, Crystal. What are you saying? I can not understand a single thing. Why is this steak in your hand? When did you take a steak?”

Alina tried to use this chance and went close to Crystal. But when she touched the steak Alina felt a shock and she fell to the ground.

Crystal turned her head and laughed. “Silly woman. What did you think? Is it a normal steak? If it is, then the late king Atlas would be alive now.”

Selena’s jaw dropped. She shook her head. She stepped back. “Y-You! D-Did you kill king Atlas?” Selena asked Crystal when she heard her telling about King Atlas’s death.

“Of course, I did.”

Selena’s eyes widened. She looked down at Alina who was crying on the floor.

“S-So s-she is innocent?”

Crystal chuckled. “I can’t believe it. Fate is always with me. Otherwise, why would the two selected brides of King Aaron be so foolish?”

Selena could not believe her ears. She wanted to run away from there. But she was a Lycan. She could not just run in fear.

She growled at Crystal. At first, Crystal was taken backward when she saw a pair of gray eyes.

But then her eyes turned glowing green. She started to chant some spells which Selena could not understand.

Selena tried to shift but shockingly she could not able shift.

“What is happening to me? Why can’t I shift?” She asked Crystal angrily.

Alina looked at Selena and spoke,

“You can’t. She used wolfsbane on you just like she did with King Atlas.”

Crystal smirked. “I didn’t know my best friend’s mind was so sharp. You memorized everything.”

Alina was helpless. She did not know what to do. But Atlas’s dead body came to her mind. She could not save that man because she was not there at that time but today she was at that place. She was watching everything. How could she just let Crystal do what she wanted to do?

Crystal was going to kill another innocent person. Alina did not care about who would get the blame for killing but cared for Selena. Selena was an innocent person to her. She was just a pawn in Crystal’s game.

Alina closed her eyes and wiped her tears. She could not understand what she would do.

She knew there would be no one here to help her. She was not the pack member who could contact others in mind links.

Suddenly she touched her neck.

“What are you thinking while touching the tag?” Crystal asked.

Meanwhile, Selena tried to run but Crystal grabbed her hair tightly. She felt a sharp pain in her scalp and screamed aloud.

Alina moved her hand from the neck lock and stood up slowly.

She tried her last chance but she knew she could not get it.

‘Mate. Please save Selena.’

Alina said in mind link. She tried to reach him although she knew he might be off the mind link for her and would not listen to her. Even if he listened, she assumed he would not come back. But at least he could contact his officials about it.

Alina grabbed Crystal’s hand which was grabbing Selena’s hair.

“Leave her.” She yelled.

Crystal sneered and kept chanting some spells.

Alina did not know what she was chanting. She was not a witch.

But she learned many spells from Melissa. She knew many spells too.

“You did all the wrong things and blamed me. I am to blame now. Please let her go and kill me. She is innocent. I can not let her die.” Alina said and tried to remove Crystal’s hand from Selena’s hair.

Selena was shocked and stopped struggling when she heard Alina. She looked at Alina with her glossy eyes.

Alina tried to push Crystal but could not do that. Crystal removed her hand from Selena’s hair and yanked her hand. She hit Selena’s head with the steak in her other hand.

Selena felt pain and fell to the ground.

Seeing that Alina was fuming inside. She tried to convince Crystal and gave her a choice but Crystal still hit Selena. It made her mad.

Alina did not know when she became so aggressive that she grabbed the steak.

Crystal frowned when she saw Alina could touch the steak. B***d was coming out of Alina’s hand but she did not leave the steak.

Crystal gasped when she heard the sound of a crack. She looked at the steak and saw a crack was visible in the wooden steak.

“A-Alina?” A voice came to their ears.

Alina left the steak and was shocked by what she did. She looked behind Crystal and saw Silvia.

Silvia was stunned when Crystal turned to her.

“T-Two Alina? W-What is happening.”

Alina shook her head. “That is not me. That is Crystal, Silvia.” Alina said immediately.

Crystal snickered at Alina. “She will only remember me, the Alina who will kill Selena, not you. I will remove her memory.”

Alina looked at Crystal in horror when she saw her going closer to Selena who was losing her consciousness.

“I will kill her first. I will be the Queen, not her.” Crystal said and lifted her hand to stab Selena.

“NO!” Alina screamed as she ran to Selena.

She came to her but felt something ripping her skin. She felt Crystal stab the steak in her right arm.

She turned to Crystal when Crystal took out the steak from her arm. Alina felt like dying in pain. She closed her eyes to die.

Crystal got mad and was about to stab the steak in Alina’s chest but a hand stopped her.

Crystal turned her head angrily but almost lost her breath.
