“Announce to the kingdom that in three weeks, King Aaron will introduce them to their new Queen.

I will marry her in three weeks.”

Alina did not know what to feel. No matter how much she wanted to become strong, in front of King Aaron, she was always helpless.

She did not know whether she should be happy that he took the decision and did not let her die or she should feel sad that someone else was going to marry him.

Tears fell to the floor. She felt Silvia rubbing her arm to console her.

She wanted to go back to her room but she could not go because no one gave her permission to go back yet.

Alina raised her head slowly and looked at the man. She was facing his back. She did not forget how he marked her. Now she was his mate, but he was going to marry another woman in front of her.

She felt the fear and the pain in her heart that she felt the night before the wedding.

She knew he was born to be unlucky. She would never get a chance to live her life again or become free. She would have to live a life in a cage.

She saw Daisy looked very happy. Another tear rolled down Alina’s cheek. She showed so much respect to this woman but she had never thought that she would be one of the reasons to make her life hell.

“Are you sure?” All the officials asked Aaron.

Aaron nodded at them then turned his head to Daisy. “Are you now happy, mom?”

Daisy nodded her head. “Of course, I am happy for my son. You will get married soon and our kingdom will get their Queen. It is a fact of celebration.” Daisy said and went to hug Selena.

Alina smiled sadly. She remembered how she hugged her too when Aaron announced to her to marry her.

Alina could not take the pain. Her wolf was howling inside. Her wolf was not like that their mate would be going to mate with someone else when he had already marked them.

Alina felt a piercing in her heart. She felt cold in her heart.

“Your body is getting cold.” Silvia whispered.

Alina shook her head but her eyes fell on Crystal.

She frowned at Crystal. Crystal looked very happy. She even hugged Selena.

“Thank you, Crystal.”

Alina was surprised. When did they become friends? Alina was about to look away but she narrowed her eyes when she saw Crystal looking at her.

There was a glimpse of something in her eyes that Alina could not read.

Aaron turned around and walked to his residence. He passed Alina without giving her a single glance.

Alina looked at him when he was passing her. Alina wanted to laugh at herself so that she thought about him again.

Why was she so helpless? Why didn’t her fate give her support? What did she do wrong?

One by one everyone was going back to their work. There were only Alina, Silvia, Daisy and Selena.

Alina turned around to leave but Daisy stopped her.

“Did I permit you to go?”

Alina wiped her tears and turned to her.

“Don’t you dare come close to Selena. She will become the Queen very soon. The plan you made was destroyed by me. I saw you that day otherwise you would be successful now. My son might forgive you. But I will not let you go this time. The future Queen will push you soon. Get ready for it.”

Alina smiled at her. “Queen Mother Daisy.”

Daisy was stunned. Alina has never called her that before.

“If one day you will get to know the truth, don’t be sad. I know it’s not your fault. You are just in a trap. I hope you will know the truth one day and realize what you are doing right now.” Alina said and turned around.

She did not wait for Daisy’s permission. She told Silvia that she wanted to be alone for some time. Then she ran to her room.

Daisy was looking at Alina’s back. Suddenly, she felt a small pain in her chest. She thought it was because she was sad for her husband. She could not do anything to her that was why.

“Are you okay?” Selena asked Daisy.

“I am okay. I am going back to my room. You should call your parents and tell them about this matter before they get to know each other. It is very big and good news. They will be very happy.”

Crystal was walking back and forth. She was talking with her Aunt Darcy.

“You don’t know how happy I am right now.” She said.

“What happened?”

“Aunt, I did what I thought was right. I provoked her against Alina and told her to talk with that Daisy. Guess what?”

“Exactly, Aunt. You are so brilliant.”

Darcy coughed. Crystal frowned. “Is your health not okay? What happened?”
