The Lycan King’s Rejected Queen Chapter 122

Silvia went to Alina’s room. She did not want to make Alina uncomfortable.

She remembered what her mate told her in their mind linked at the table.

She asked him if Alina killed the late king. Lucas told her that Alina was innocent.

Silvia, like a good mate, listened to her mate and believed him.

She knew Alina. She saw how much hard working she was when they were at the university. So she assumed that there was something wrong with this matter.

Alina was not feeling good from the morning, from the moment she heard how Daisy was talking about her.

She thanked Silvia for coming to her room with food.

“You are a very nice girl, Silvia.”

“Oh, thank you.”

“But I think it is better if you stay away from me.”

“Why?” Silvia asked.

Alina put the plate of the food on the table and sat on the couch. She gestured to Silvia to sit with her.

Silvia sat with Alina. Alina knew there were many things Silvia needed to know.

“You heard what Aunt Daisy said. You should stay away.”

“But Lucas said you are innocent. So I don’t have to.” Silvia replied.

Alina smiled when she heard that. She felt good that there were a few people who really believed in her.

“I don’t want you to harm me.”

“Don’t say that. I am feeling very lonely in this whole pack house. I don’t feel good alone. And my mate is enough to protect me. So don’t worry about it.”

Alina felt that Silvia was lucky that she got a mate like Lucas who was always readily protected her. She believed if Silvia would be in her situation, Lucas would believe in Silvia, unlike his best friend who gave his own mate a death sentence.

“I am happy that you got a mate like Lucas. You are very lucky. He is very powerful and the biggest fact is he is a good man. He helped me a lot. I owe him my life.”

Silvia looked surprised. She did not think that her mate helped Alina. Silvia just came here but she knew nothing.

When Alina was about to touch the food she heard a knock on the door.

Silvia looked at Alina. “You start eating. I am going to open the door.”

Alina nodded. Silvia opened the door. A maid came inside and said,

“Queen Mother Daisy asked to go to the living room.”

Silvia turned to Alina. “I am going now. Come after eating, okay?”

Alina stood up. “No, I am also going. Queen Mother asked to go. I can not go late otherwise others will get a chance to make another issue about me.”

“But you didn’t eat anything.”

“It’s okay. I will eat after I come back.”

“Okay, let’s go.”

They headed to the living room out of the king’s residence.

Alina somehow felt nervous. Because Daisy did not like her. What if she would tell Aaron to give her another punishment?

When she entered the living room with Silvia, she heard Daisy.

“You can not destroy my respect, Aaron.”

Alina was confused about what was happening. Aaron was standing with his officials and Daisy was scolding him. Alina’s eyes fell on Selena and Crystal. Both of them were standing together.

“Mom, what happened again?” Aaron asked with an annoyed tone.

“Now you are feeling annoyed talking to your mom?”

“It is not like that, mom.”

“Then what?”

“I was busy with my officials. We were in an important discussion.”

“I don’t care about your important discussion. And discussion about what? About your kingdom? From whom? From your enemies? The biggest enemy of your kingdom was standing behind you. What about that, Aaron?”

Aaron did not turn to Alina. Alina knew that the moment she came here he felt her smell because they were mates and Aaron was a Lycan, he had a very strong smell ability.

“Mom, we have already talked about it, right?”

Crystal was fuming. “No, you can not do that to me. Just because you are my son that is why I am not taking any action.”

Alina felt afraid when she heard that. Aaron frowned.

“What do you mean?” He asked.

“Just because of you, I am shutting my mouth and not telling anyone about her truth. If I, the former Queen, tell the whole pack about what she did or manage the Lycans to get them on my side, what do you think? What would happen to her? Do you think she will be alive?”

Everyone was stunned. They did not think that Daisy would say this to Aaron. She always supported her son in his every decision. This was the first time she talked about something like this. Now she was behaving like the late king Atlas.

“So you want to go against your son?” Aaron asked calmly. He knew Daisy had power. If she told everyone about it they would attack Alina for sure.

“Of course, any son is saving my husband’s murderer. What do you think? I love you more than my husband? No, I loved him and I got you by him. No matter how he was, he was my husband.”

Lucas glared at Crystal. Crystal behaved like she was innocent and equally surprised as everyone.

Lucas wanted to say something to Daisy but Aaron stopped him by glaring at him. Lucas could not say anything.

“Mom, what do you want?”

“Oh, so you can pay anything just to save this woman?”

“I told you she is getting her punishment.”

“By how? By giving you pleasure?”

“MOM!”

“Don’t shout at me. Today my husband is not alive so you are behaving like this with me?” Daisy said and felt like crying. She had never thought that her son would behave like this with her. She glared behind her son.

Alina looked down when she felt Daisy glaring at her.

She heard Daisy,

“Choose one, Aaron.”

Aaron narrowed his eyes. “What?”

“Choose one, Aaron. Choose between me and that woman who killed your father.”

“Why are you doing this? You can not change a king’s decision by just blackmailing her, you know that.” Aaron replied. He was a very strong king and the dominant one.

No one could just blackmail him like that. He was not an emotional fool.

“If you don’t like to change your decision, then what about Selena? You said you will make her your Queen.”

Aaron shook his head. “So it was the real matter?”

“Real matter? You made a promise to me after your father’s death, did you forget that?” Daisy asked.

Alina was listening to everything. She thought today she would die or would be caged in the dungeon again.

She understood why Daisy called her here. Daisy wanted Aaron to decide for her death or make Selena his Queen.

“I have that on my mind, mom.”

Daisy shook her head. She did not want to lose today. She wanted her answer and she would get it.

“You have to decide now.”

Gamma George went to Daisy and said,

“Queen Mother, you should calm down.”

“No, George, it is funny. I am not feeling safe living with the woman who killed my husband in front of me. Who knows? She will try to kill too.”

Alina tightened her fists and bit her lower lips. She tried to stop her tears from rolling down on cheeks.

“It is not like that.” Beta Lucas said.

Daisy did not listen to anyone. Crystal spoke out,

“I think Aunt Daisy is right. We need a Queen. So it is better if we get it now. Selena has a life too, my king. She came from the Lycan’s realm just for you. She also has parents. Look at her. She is living with hope. You should give her a chance.”

Aaron glared at Crystal and she gasped.

“Who gave you permission to talk about my family matters?”

Crystal felt like crying. Aaron had never talked to her before. She thought Aaron started to like her when he was staring at her at the table.

“Don’t scold her. She is totally right. You have to declare it.”

” Mom, I am not going to die. So relax. What’s so hurried?”

“I am in a hurry. Just give me your decision.”

“What if I don’t want to marry her?”

Daisy’s eyes widened. “What did you just say? You are going to make me a laughing stock in the Lycan realm? What did you mean by not wanting to marry her? If you don’t marry her then I will kill myself.”

“Mom!”

“Don’t call me mom until you decide on your side.”

Aaron sighed and looked at his officials. His officials saw his helpless side.

Alina was waiting for Aaron’s decision too. She thought it would be better if she died.

Aaron said to his officials,

“Announce to the kingdom that in three weeks, King Aaron will introduce them to their new Queen.

I will marry her in three weeks.”
