“Can we have a good talk?”

Selena frowned at her but nodded. “Yeah sure.”

Daisy wanted to ask Crystal about what she would talk to Selena about but Selena shook her head. She wanted to know what Crystal wanted to talk to her about.

Crystal took her to the garden in the pack house. It was not giant like the king’s garden but big enough for other members to enjoy.

“Tell me, what do you want to talk about?” Selena asked while walking in the garden.

Crystal smiled at her. “Not something. It was just, I wanted to talk about Alina.”

Selena’s steps halted. She turned her head to Crystal.

“What about her?”

Crystal came beside her and said,

“I don’t know what Aunt Daisy told you about me but I know she does not like me because she had some issues with my mom.”

“What issue?”

“I don’t know. But she had some problems. So that is why she does not like me. However, I always wanted good for this family and this kingdom, okay?”

“What do you want to say?”

Crystal sighed and looked at the flowers. She replied,

“You know what? I have never thought to take the position beside Aaron. I have always cared about him like a family member. He is the king so I always want good for him.”

Selena was confused about what Crystal was trying to say.

Crystal continued, “When I heard that Alina was Aaron’s mate, I was upset because she did not share the thing with me. She thought I would oppose it. But I supported her and felt very happy that she was going to be my Queen. I will be her royal witch.”

Crystal shook her head. “I don’t know what you are saying. I can’t understand.”

Crystal nodded, “In short, I have no interest in becoming the Queen of this kingdom.”

Selena’s brows raised. “When did I say that you are interested? And how dare you? How can you even think like that?”

“How can I trust you?”

“You don’t have to trust me. Just listen to me.”

Selena nodded. She thought hearing someone was not a bad thing. If she did not like her words she would not listen to her anymore.

“Okay speak.” Selena said.

Crystal started to walk and Selena walked beside her.

“I am worrying about Silvia.” Crystal said.

“What about her?”

“She is Alina’s friend for sure. Didn’t you see how she locked her arms with Alina this morning?”

“But she didn’t know that Alina killed our late king.”

“But she knew Alina was a slave. When Alina was there with Silvia, she had her slavery tag on.”

Selena thought Crystal was right.

Crystal spoke again,

“So that means she was still supporting Alina. And you don’t know Silvia. She is a very tough woman. I know her. And the main thing is she is Beta Lucas’s mate. We can not help it but obey her.”

Selena got angry. “What do you mean? I will be the Queen and she has to obey me.”

Crystal shook her head. “You can say anything until you become the Luna. You are not our Queen now, you will be. And when you will be it has no guarantee. Aaron has not decided on the date yet.”

“He will very soon.” Selena said confidently.

“You don’t know Alina. She is a very cunning woman. She will change Aaron’s mind before he makes you his Queen.”

Selena got mad at Alina. But she said to Crystal.

“Are you trying to provoke me about her?”

Crystal behaved shocked. “What are you saying? Why would I do that? In fact, I am supporting you. Didn’t you see how she made him mark her? What do you think? She was the one who made Aaron drunk and took advantage of him. She seduced him and tried to lure his wolf to mark her.”

Selena now felt tense. She was feeling distressed.

Selena was stunned. She had never thought about this matter like this. She thought she would be left out if Alina grabbed Aaron’s heart again.

Crystal examined Selena’s condition and smirked. Selena was now in a mess. She wanted that. She wanted her to do what she wanted. Crystal believed that now Selena would definitely do what she would say to her.

Selena turned to her and her smirk faded.

“What should I do now?” Selena asked for advice.

Crystal looked around as if she was thinking about something. She took her time to think.

Selena stared at Crystal. She wanted to know the solution. She wanted to become the Queen. Daisy promised her parents that she would be the chosen mate of her son but Daisy failed in it. But what about the Queen’s position? She could not let this go from her hand. She even did not go to her name for Aaron and the Queen’s chair.

Crystal looked at her and said,

“Talk to Aunt Daisy and request her to convince Aaron.”

“About what?”

“About the Crown Ceremony. You should become the Queen as soon as possible.”
