The Lycan King's Rejected Queen
The Lycan King’s Rejected Queen Chapter 119

“What happened to your hand?”

Alina looked at him. “Nothing.”

Aaron tried to see clearly but Alina wheezed in pain.

Aaron narrowed his eyes. The wrist was swollen. He looked carefully and his eyes went dark.

“Who did this?” He asked with a deep voice.

Alina yanked her hand back successfully.

“You don’t have to know. You should not care for the killer of your dad.” She replied to him.

Aaron looked into her eyes. He could see the pain in her eyes.

He tightened his jaw and turned around. He left his residence.

Alina just stared at his back. She missed his caring nature. He was the man who saved her from other men. He was the man who healed her wound. He was the man who fought with everyone to just make her his Queen.

At the same time, he was the one who trusted his mother blindly and did not even care to investigate about his father’s death. He did not show any trust in her and gave her the death penalty. He forced her and marked her. He made her a slave and used her for his personal desire.

Alina knew she was a laughingstock now. She did not know if she should blame Aaron for this or not.

Because he lost his father. His mother told him something and all the proof was against her so he would believe them rather than her, it was a reasonable reason.

Alina thought what if all of this did not happen in her life, her life would have been better right now.

In the dining room,

Aaron entered and everyone looked to get him. All of his officials were already on the table.

Aaron sat on his chair and started to eat. Daisy glanced at him and felt that her son’s mood was not good.

“What happened to you, Aaron?”

“Nothing.”

All the officials looked at Aaron and then looked at each other.

Aaron looked at Silvia who looked very nervous about something.

“Are you getting along with everyone?”

When Silvia heard Aaron, she immediately looked at him and nodded her head.

“Yes, my king.”

“If you need something, tell me about it if Lucas is busy.”

Everyone was stunned as to why Lucas would be busy. But then thought he might have to do a lot of work.

Lucas looked at Aaron but did not say anything.

“Yes, my king.” Silvia replied.

“Crystal?” Aaron said.

Crystal was eating but when she heard him calling her, food stuck in her throat. She coughed and chugged down a glass of water.

She could not believe that Aaron called her by himself.

“Y-Yes, my king?” Crystal asked.

“What is your plan?”

Crystal’s eyes widened. “P-Plan?”

“Plan of study.”

“Oh.” Crystal felt relieved.

“Why? What did you think?” Aaron asked.

“Nothing, my king.” Crystal replied and thought for a second then spoke again,

“I am thinking of stopping my study because I have no reason to continue it anymore.”

“Why?” Daisy asked.

Crystal knew Daisy did not want her to stay here. Daisy wanted her to leave the kingdom as soon as possible.

Crystal sneered inside her head. ‘This woman! I should do something about her. She will definitely convince her son to tell to get out of this pack. I can not let her do this with me. I am not my mother. I am crystal. I will snatch what’s mine.’ Crystal thought.

She replied to Daisy,

“Aunt Daisy, I am a royal witch now. How can I go abroad to continue my study? What about the kingdom? It needs me.”

Daisy was not impressed with the answer. She looked at Aaron and said,

“Aaron, when she was not here, the kingdom was also okay. So if she goes to complete her study, don’t you think it will be okay too?”

Daisy tried to convince her son to let this woman go. Because Daisy wanted to make Selena her daughter in law as soon as possible.

Aaron was quiet looking at Crystal as if he was observing her. Crystal blushed.

‘Why is he looking at me like this? Does he have any feelings for me? Did I catch his eyes finally?’ Crystal thought.

When Daisy and Selena saw Aaron gazing at Crystal. Selena looked at Daisy with a sad look. Daisy nodded at her and cleared her throat.

“Aaron, have you decided anything?”

Aaron averted his gaze from Crystal and replied to his mother.

“There is nothing to decide. If she doesn’t want to continue then it’s her choice.”

Hearing Aaron no one spoke again. The whole dining room was silent. The only sound of cutlery was audible there.

Everyone glanced at Aaron from time to time but he did not look at anyone while eating.

Crystal glanced at Selena and thought about what her aunt told her. She wanted to process her plan as soon as possible.

She looked at Selena carefully. Though Selena was a Lycan, she did not have the power that Crystal has. So in front of her, she thought Selena was not better than Alina.

Sometimes Crystal wanted to kill Daisy and put all the blame on Selena. But there was a problem. If she killed Daisy then who would be the eye witness?

If Daisy was not alive, she believed Aaron would forgive Alina for her crime.

Crystal was surprised that Aaron was still supporting Alina and was not punishing her well.

There was only one question rushing inside her head. Did Aaron really love Alina more than his father? Otherwise, why was he so different when it was about Alina?

After breakfast, Aaron stood up and looked at his official. “You all come to my office.”

Everyone looked at Aaron and thought their kingdom might be facing some serious problem.

All the officials nodded and followed behind Aaron.

Crystal saw Selena standing up from her chair. She called her.

“Selena.”

Selena looked at Crystal and replied, “Yes?”

Crystal smiled at her and said,

“Can we have a good talk?”
