"There's a rumor that your brother Todd's death was caused by Alaric. Is that true?"

Alaric nodded.

Seeing Alaric nod, Stellan finally felt relieved. The tension she had been holding onto finally released, and she collapsed into Alaric's arms, crying uncontrollably. Stellan said, "You really scared me to death. I was so afraid you wouldn't wake up."

Stellan, who had been holding on for days, finally let go and cried without restraint. Alaric moved his almost stiff body and then tried to lift his arm to hold her.
