Mommy,We Got a Husband
Chapter 223 Galatea, Be Yourself

In the café, Cormac and Ambrose sat across from each other. Their only connection was when Ambrose had gone to Nexus Innovations to bid and couldn't meet Alaric, so he sought out Cormac instead. After Far East International won the bid, they hadn't seen each other since. Cormac didn't want to talk to Ambrose.

But Cormac was confused right now, and he didn't know where to go. Ambrose said he had something important to discuss, so Cormac went with him.

"Mr. Vale, you should already know my family's situation. If you're here because of Alaric, I can't help you," Cormac said coldly.

Ambrose sighed, "Mr. Nash. I'm so sorry for the Nash family's situation. What happened is truly heartbreaking."

Cormac said directly, "Spare me the hypocritical words. If you're here to mock me like everyone else, I don't care. If you're here to offer help, forget it."

Cormac's words were particularly sharp now. Ambrose smiled awkwardly and quickly explained, "I wanted to meet Alaric back then but had no chance. "

"Out of desperation, I found Mr. Nash. I know I won the bid at Nexus Innovations because Mr. Nash spoke well of me to Alaric. Mr. Nash was the first person to help me when I came to Arizona. How could I forget that kindness?"

"I didn't have a chance to repay you before, but now that the Nash family is in trouble, how could I stand by and do nothing? Mr. Nash, if you don't mind, you can become my partner. I can transfer half of my shares to you, and we can grow Far East International together."

Cormac laughed. He found it particularly ridiculous. Then, he looked at Ambrose with cold eyes and asked, "Do you think I believe in good things happening for no reason? You're trying to use me against Alaric, right?" "No..."

Cormac interrupted Ambrose, "Don't deny it! Galatea is your ex-girlfriend, and you still have feelings for her."

Ambrose smiled bitterly and then said, "I admit I still have feelings for Stellan, but regarding making you my partner, Mr. Nash, you're overthinking it. I want to repay your kindness." Cormac sneered again and downed his drink.

Ambrose continued, "Mr. Nash, I truly admire your abilities and character, and I genuinely feel for your situation. Orion is still so young; Alaric shouldn't have..."

"Ambrose, what are you talking about?" Cormac's face was terrifyingly dark.

"I didn't mean anything by it. I think there's something off about Orion's car accident. I'm sorry, Mr. Nash. I misspoke. I'll punish myself with a drink." Ambrose quickly downed his drink. "Don't perform in front of me. Alaric isn't a good person, and neither are you!" Cormac stood up angrily, glaring at Ambrose. "Your grudge with him is your business. Don't come to me again!" With that, Cormac smashed his glass and stormed out.

After Cormac stormed out, Denny hurried over, having heard everything.

"Cormac really doesn't know what's good for him," Denny said.

Ambrose stayed silent, his fingers tapping the table thoughtfully.

"Mr. Vale, since Cormac doesn't appreciate it, will you still..."

"Of course." Ambrose's fingers tapped decisively. "The Nash family is in ruins, and Alaric is to blame. Alaric feels guilty towards Cormac. Now, even if Cormac stabs him, he won't dodge. How can I let go of such a useful tool?"

"I understand, Mr. Vale. I'll have someone keep an eye on Cormac."

Ambrose took another drink. Now that Alaric's family was reunited, how could he rest easy?

Meanwhile, Caspian, Harry, and Elisa were having a blast playing a puzzle game while Alaric and Galatea watched.

The triplets were so adorable that they attracted everyone's attention.

People envied Alaric and Galatea for having such beautiful children.

"Caspian, Harry, and Elisa are so outstanding. Our family of five is reunited, and I feel so happy," Alaric said, holding Galatea. Galatea laughed, "Yes, it's unbelievable. It feels like a dream."

Alaric smiled again and said, "It's not a dream. It's real. Our family is reunited, and we'll always be together."

Always together? How happy that would be.

"What about your mom?" Galatea felt happy but also anxious when she thought of Marigold. "She won't agree after our fallout." "So what if she doesn't agree? She's my mom, but I decided on my marriage. No one can oppose it," Alaric said firmly.

"When do you plan to take us to see Mrs. Knight?"

Galatea was nervous. She had always been afraid of Marigold, both six years ago and now.

Alaric sighed, "Let's put that off for now. With the Nash family's situation, my mind is a mess. I know my mom's temper. If you meet now, it'll be chaos. Let's wait a few days."

Galatea didn't want to see Mrs. Knight so soon, either.

"Galatea, be yourself," Alaric said seriously.

Galatea was surprised. "What do you mean?"

"Are you dumb?" Alaric tapped her head. "You've been Galatea for so long that you've forgotten you're Stellan Storm?"

Of course, Galatea hadn't forgotten that.

Alaric added, "You said you changed your name to start over, but mainly because you were medically dead six years ago. Now that our family is reunited, you don't need to live under the name Galatea anymore." Galatea agreed. She was Brennan's daughter and proud of it.

She was the only bloodline of the Storm family. She wouldn't have changed her name if she hadn't had to.

Alaric continued, "Be Stellan Storm again, be your true self. I'll handle the paperwork. We need to get a new marriage certificate, regardless of whether the one from seven years ago is valid. And you need to be Stellan Storm to investigate the truth behind the Storm family's bankruptcy."
