Mommy,We Got a Husband -
Chapter 221 Why Are There Two Harrys?
Alaric said, "You can drop the act now."
Harry, panicked, asked, "Does Mom know about the switch between Caspian and me?"
"She should by now," Caspian must've told Galatea.
Harry was worried. "We've been lying to her for so long. She must be furious, right? I don't want to go home. Could you take me to bad grandma's house instead? I'd rather deal with her." Alaric sneered, "Weren't you all confident when I exposed you? Why scared now?"
Harry replied, "Mom's different. You didn't raise me. I'm not afraid of hurting your feelings, but I can't stand making Mom angry and sad."
"It's too late. Even if you want to run, you can't. Just come home with me."
Harry really didn't want to go home. He even thought about jumping out of the car. What should he do?
He knew going home would be a stormy affair!
He couldn't imagine how Galatea would react. Would she be horrified?
At that moment, Galatea was stunned after hearing the whole story from Caspian, like she'd heard an unbelievable tale.
"Mom, are you okay?" Caspian asked cautiously, seeing her shock.
Galatea didn't respond. Caspian quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, Mom. It's all my fault. This was my idea. You can hit me or scold me. Just don't be angry."
Galatea shook her head, "I'm not angry. It's just hard to believe. You switched with Harry a long time ago?"
Caspian nodded, "Yes. That time, you went to the mansion to find Dad, and I saw you being kicked out. I jumped out of the window and went home with you. That day, Harry went to the mansion with you, and when Dad was looking for me, he took Harry home instead."
The first time she went to the Knight mansion to find Alaric?
That was ages ago! She hadn't realized the child by her side wasn't Harry.
Galatea laughed. Fate had a peculiar way of arranging things. She sighed, "I never thought the son I've been looking for has been by my side all along."
Who would believe such an absurd story?
The Caspian she had been looking for had been by her side all along?
Galatea looked carefully at Caspian again.
"How do you and Harry look so alike? You are the same. I didn't realize you weren't Harry for so long."
She felt like she had failed as a mother. Harry and Caspian had switched identities, and she hadn't noticed.
Caspian comforted her, "Mom, it's not your fault. Harry and I do look very similar. The first time I saw Harry, I was shocked too. Being with him was like looking in a mirror."
As soon as Caspian finished speaking, they heard a noise at the door. Caspian excitedly shouted, "It must be Dad bringing Harry back."
Indeed, Alaric brought Harry back, but he had to drag him. Harry really didn't want to come back.
Caspian said, "Harry, I've already explained everything to Mom. We can finally be ourselves and don't have to switch identities anymore." Harry felt helpless.
Galatea hurried out of the bedroom. When she saw Caspian and Harry standing together, she was once again stunned.
They looked too much alike!
Harry grinned when he saw Galatea come out. "Mom, you know everything now. So I won't explain further."
"Are you Harry?" Galatea asked, looking at him.
"Yes, Mom, I'm Harry."
"And you're Caspian?" she asked Caspian.
"Yes, Mom," Caspian confirmed.
Luckily, they were wearing different clothes. If they were dressed the same, Galatea wouldn't be able to tell them apart.
"You two look too much alike. It's unbelievable," Galatea said, still in shock.
Even if they were twins, they shouldn't look identical.
Harry said, "Actually, you adults are just too careless. If you look closely, you can tell the difference. My eyes are bigger than Caspian's, and my eyebrows are better shaped." Caspian immediately retorted, "Nonsense! They're the same size, okay? And I'm your older brother."
"Just because you were born a few seconds earlier, why are you my older brother?"
Harry wanted to be the older brother, but he didn't expect to be younger than Caspian by just a few seconds.
"Such disrespect!" Caspian scolded.
Harry added, "We're the same age. Why do you have to be so clear about it?"
Alaric and Galatea couldn't help but laugh at their argument. Alaric said, "Call each other whatever you want for now."
"I agree!" Harry immediately raised both hands in agreement.
Galatea was still carefully examining their faces, like comparing two pictures to find the differences. She stared at Caspian for a while, then at Harry.
"Mom, have you found any differences after looking for so long?" Harry asked.
Galatea didn't respond because she really hadn't found any differences.
Harry sighed, "You two really need to get your eyes checked. Let me tell you a difference. I have a mole behind my left ear, and Caspian doesn't."
Alaric and Galatea quickly checked their ears.
"It's true. Harry, I never noticed you had a mole behind your ear," Galatea said.
"Well, thanks to your carelessness, we were able to deceive you for so long," Harry said, stretching and yawning. "I woke up too early today and didn't sleep well last night. I need to catch up on sleep." With that, Harry went to sleep in Caspian's room.
Caspian said, "Harry didn't sleep well, so let him rest. Dad, Mom, wait here. I'll make breakfast today."
After quickly washing up, Caspian ran into the kitchen. Galatea felt both surprised and proud.
"How about that? I did a good job raising him, right?" Alaric asked.
"I did a great job raising Harry and Elisa, too." Galatea retorted. Then, still in disbelief, she said, "I need to wash my face. I need to make sure I'm not dreaming. Having three kids around me all of a sudden is too unbelievable." Galatea went into the bathroom, and Alaric followed her in.
At that moment, Elisa woke up. The first thing she did was call for Harry, "Harry, get up!"
"Don't bother me!" Harry said impatiently, pulling the blanket over his head.
"Slacker," Elisa muttered and walked out. In the kitchen, Caspian said gently, "Good morning, Elisa."
"Good morning," Elisa replied lazily, then suddenly woke up.
Seeing Caspian in the kitchen, she rubbed her eyes hard to make sure she wasn't seeing things. She hurried back to the bedroom and rubbed her eyes again.
Was she hallucinating? There were two Harrys!
