Mommy,We Got a Husband
Chapter 17 If You Can't Moan, I'll Teach You!

"I can't," said Galatea internally, her panic rising.

"You can't?" Alaric looked at her with disdain. "No boyfriend? You're not very good at your little tricks."

What a vicious man, so quick with his words!

"You bastard!" Galatea was seething with rage.

"Last time you came to my place, wasn't it to ask for a favor? This is how you ask for help. Moan, and the louder, the better!" Alaric thrust towards her again, causing pain. Her breasts were in the grasp of his hands. "Yes, that's it. Moan like that."

"It hurts, you jerk!" Galatea was convinced she had encountered a psycho, and her cries echoed out where Orion could hear them.

There was a woman inside his room? How could this be? Was Alaric breaking things off not because of Caspian but because there was another woman?

The pain felt like her nipples were about to be crushed. How could this man be so rough? "It hurts. Let go!" Galatea struggled desperately.

"It seems you truly don't know how." Alaric frowned at her poor attempts, his lips curling into a sly, cold smile that carried a hint of defiance. "Didn't you have a child? You don't know even this bit?"

Because of the height difference, if he looked down, he could see things he shouldn't. She quickly positioned her clothes, covering what shouldn't be seen.

Then, an idea struck her, and with a seductive smile, she asked, "Indeed, I don't know. Perhaps you could teach me?"

Alaric stepped closer and lifted her chin with assertive yet calculated gentleness, basking in her beauty while contemplating the sultry cleverness hidden behind her naive facade. With a hint of a smirk playing on his lips, he lightly teased, "You're done pretending?"

Galatea's alluring smile never faltered. She replied with an ease that seemed habitual, "You've got it wrong again. I just wanted you to show me... teach me how to scream!"

As soon as she finished her sentence, Galatea swiftly grabbed Alaric's arm and bit down hard on his wrist.

Her bite was deep, drawing a tense furrow in Alaric's brow, and a pained grunt escaped him.

Galatea held on until she felt like she almost pierced through his arm. Only then did she release him, looking up provocatively, "Why didn't you scream just now? I was hoping to get a lesson."

"You're asking for it!" Alaric's rage was palpable, his forearm now bore distinct marks of her teeth, and a bulging vein throbbed at his temple.

Earlier, her indiscretion may have been simply annoyng, but now his glaring eyes were filled with a bloodthirst that sent shivers down her spine. Galatea couldn't bear to meet his gaze; her heart skipped frantically, feeling as if it suddenly stopped in fear.

Meanwhile, outside the door, Orion was crying, her voice hoarse, but no matter how much she knocked, Alaric wouldn't open up.

Cormac hurried over, grabbed Orion by the arm, and demanded, "Orion, what on earth are you doing? You're a public figure. Have you thought about the consequences if the paparazzi caught this?" Seeing Cormac ignited Orion's anger, "Aren't you my brother after all, Cormac?" she retorted, "Alaric's got another woman in the room, and you're criticizing me instead of helping?" "You need to sit down and talk this through, not make a scene here," Cormac insisted, dragging Orion away. "Let's go home; we'll sort it out tomorrow."

"But he's got a mistress in there! Aren't you going to do anything about it?" she stressed.

"Mom, Cormac, what are you guys doing here?" Harry arrived, having finished his drink.

Cormac immediately turned on him, "I should be asking you that. Why aren't you at home instead of staying in a hotel?"

"You should ask her," Harry pointed accusingly at Orion, "She's like a wicked stepmother to me. She's been mistreating me, and I had to drag Dad to stay at a hotel just to get away from her." "You insolent kid, is that woman inside the one you invited?" Orion fumed, stepping forward to grab Harry. Cormac quickly intervened, "Orion, calm down. Remember, he's your son."

After his words, Cormac picked up Harry in his arms. Harry clung to Cormac, feigning fear, "Cormac save me, she's going to hit me again!"

"All right," Cormac barked at Orion, defending the boy, "He's just a kid. Don't be so harsh. Caspian, don't be afraid. I won't let Mom lose her temper with you."

"Thanks, Cormac. You're a good guy," Harry said and pecked Cormac on the cheek before adding, "Let my old man get some rest tonight, or else I'll just come home with you. You can just text him." Before Cormac could reply, Harry began to wheedle, "Please? I have amnesia; I've forgotten everything about you, but I like you, Cormac."

Cormac was stunned for a moment. Was this really Caspian talking?

Previously, Caspian was always aloof and would never act coyly with him.

"Fine, you can stay at my place tonight." Cormac finished and then turned to Orion, "You're coming home with me too!"

Once Cormac scooped Harry into the elevator, Harry couldn't help but smile smugly, thinking about how he had just crafted the perfect opportunity for his stepdad and mom to have some alone time. Meanwhile, Galatea was in torment!

Fuming over Alaric's recent actions, she seized the chance when he paused to raise her hand to slap him, but her wrist was quickly caught.

"Quit struggling pointlessly. Where have you hidden my son?"

"I really haven't seen your son. When will you let this go?" How many times did she have to say it? She insisted

Alaric was about to say something when suddenly his phone buzzed with a message from Cormac.

"Your son is spending the night with me. Don't worry, I'll return him tomorrow."

"Caspian is with Cormac, now? How could this be?" While Alaric was distracted, Galatea launched a fierce kick to his chest and scrambled towards the door, only to find it wouldn't budge. She fumbled desperately with the lock to no avail, bewildered that the man hadn't chased after her.

It was then, in the quiet, that she noticed Alaric's labored breathing and finally turned to look at him. The sight frightened her.
