Saying that they should ask the child about what SHALA had told them is true or not, the Emperor and the queen both approached the baby bump of Melanie and Ester along with Melanie too. They four placed their hands over her baby bump and the king started saying..

"My precious grand daughter, your old grandfather loves you and adores to the most. Can you hear me dear .?"

When he spoke this, a sudden kick was felt inside her tummy and Melanie gasped in awe. It was for the first time that the baby had kicked her in all those 8 months of pregnancy.

Although, she had most of the times felt those faint movements of her baby, but It had never happened even with Ester. Only Melanie was able to connect with the child, but something was different today. She was amazed and this didn't go unnoticed by the queen as she remarked...

"looks like this child would love her grandfather to the most."

"And I will spoil her to the maximum extent, while you my wife aren't going to stop me.." said the king while making some cute eye gestures to his wife.

Slowly and swiftly everybody became calm. The old couple chatted with the child for a while and they welcomed a kick in response to almost every question asked by them.

It was more than enough to relieve the restless Cross couple who were somewhat worried because of SHALA's words.

~INSIDE XYZ UNIVERSITY~

The beautiful girl was reading the book provides by Mr. Luke Camel to her and was getting absorbed into the thoughts as to how and why this was possible.

She came to know that all the kinds of creatures were evolved when the first ray of black sun was emerged and it fell over the ground. It was caused by some unknown power who was destined to do it.

Prior to that power source, fairies and demons existed only in Heavens and Hell while the humans only on the earth.

Every kind of relationship between these three different species were strictly prohibited by the laws in order to prevent chaos.

If it was the arrangement made by heavens themselves, then what got into it and how come the other creatures like vampires, werewolves and mermaids originated out of nowhere!!?? This was the main matter of concern for the girl. She read further and came to know that......

One day, a fairy fell in love with a fish in the sea when he was visiting the sea. He took a fancy over the fish and ended up adoring it.

The fish also liked the fairy very much. The fairy started to visit the fish every now and then and he used to share all his problems to the fish. He knew one thing that the fish would never ever respond to his talks like others do, but being with the fish always pacified him and relaxed his stressed out mind.

He was a royal and being a royal has both it's pros and cons. You can never always show your worries and problems to every person you see, because it can land you into grave situations.

After some time, they both became sworn friends but it wasn't enough for that fairy. He wanted the fish to talk to him and respond to his talks and emotions. So, he committed a crime, which was considered heinous in the fairy clan and that was giving powers to the fish.

The fairy used the royal pearl to provide powers to that fish and the fish' body had absorbed the powers leashed by the pearl.

Soon the blue colored pretty little and cute fish, turned into a beautiful lady who could swipe away anybody's heart in just one go.

The reason for that fish to turn into a female was that the fairy had always wanted the fish as his female companion. Yes, he started to love her like a mate and ended up doing this.

They talked and talked for hours, but ultimately she was a fish and had to return back to the sea to recuperate her strength which was lost for being away from water for too long. Hence, the fairy and the fish couldn't stay together for all the times.

The fairy used to visit her always. She became a cute little fish as she stepped inside the deep waters of sea and turned into a girl whenever she stepped out.

This went on for 2 years until the fairy decided to marry the fish. The fish girl also loved the fairy and they both tied the knot without telling anyone because they knew that it was against the laws.

But they thought they could hide it, ... poor souls, how was that even possible when everybody around you was blessed with incredible powers..??

Soon, they conceived a little baby girl and she was born after 6 months of pregnancy. She was quite healthy but was a hybrid of a fairy and a fish. She was the first mermaid ever. She was having a very beautiful fish tail, and so long golden hairs with bluish tinge like her mother and father fairy.

They were happy together, but the matter came into the notice of other higher royal fairies and their lives became doomed.

They both received a grave punishment which wasn't given to anyone in that world before. The fairy was banned from the kingdoms and all his powers were sealed. He was turned into a human and was sent to the human world to live like a mortal where he stayed always searching for his wife in every pond and lake because all the powers of her were taken back too and she turned to her fish self.

She was thrown into the sea which was in somewhere amidst of heavens and hell. The couple knew very well that their daughter's life was also at risk, so they had told her to hide in a low lying area in the human world.

She took shelter in the HOLY RIVER and went deep to its surface where she found herself a mate and they reproduced to produce even more mermaids.

They were also being watched by the fairies, but those fairies didn't interfere in their lives because what was done, was done. The fault was of that male fairy and that fish. The child was considered innocent and left as such to survive.

This was how mermaids were created. But there was a forecast that there would be a queen of the mermaids who would be born after 10000 years in the 21st century and would bring them all together.

After that, there was nothing written in that tiny old worn out book making Scarlet even more pissed because, this was leading her to her origin and here all the other pages were blank.

She had cursed the book writer because he/she hadn't provided other details further which would help her to know more.

But suddenly, she read the last line again and felt dumbstruck....

"10000 years...21st century ....a mermaid ... Am I the one about whom they are talking here in this book ..?

...Holy cow.... Don't tell me that I am the queen here...!!" whispered Scarlet to herself being amazed.

"Seriously Scarlet !!! Holy cow...! Being a mermaid, you are thinking about cow.

.......

Sister, sometimes, I do feel the same like Luke. This girl surely is..." before Choice could complete her words, she earned a strong glare from Destiny and gulped her words into the deepest pit of her throat.
