Everyone was happy and in order to celebrate, so many dishes were cooked most of which were According to Melanie's liking.

Soon the food was served over the huge dinning table and all the fairies of Cross clan sat over there including the queen mother, the king, the grand queen and the grand king who were the parents of the present king and grandparents of Ester and Ember Cross. The first bite was taken by the grand king and this made everyone else to take up their respective spoons and they started having the meals while chattering happily. This was a custom herein The ROYAL CASTLE. The elders eat up first and then the youngers proceeded. Within no time, they had finished their meals and headed for the waiting hall which was made for the guests but the family also sat there when there was a festival or a function going on. They choose the spot because in no time, the royal priest was going to arrive and tell the fortune of the child.

As they were talking and chattering, Ester Cross heard the sound of faint footsteps far from the corridor. The ticking sound of the boots was now travelling to ears of everybody present there. It was the expected person, the priest. "Finally... you arrived my friend."

Said the grand king hauling up from his position to welcome the royal priest and to meet his dear friend while being the merrier.

Priest SHALA was a very well renowned personality in the whole of fairy clan. He loved his friend dearly who was none other than Ester Cross' father, the present king of Fairy Land and also his family. Ester and Ember were like his own children.

He stepped in slowly and swiftly maintaining his calm and composed aura making everybody else calm and relaxed in the hall and spotted Ester and Melanie there.

When his gaze fell upon Ester, he remembered his words that he told his friend that his younger grandson would loose his first child and would be separated from the family.

He was pained too because for him Ester and Melanie were like his own children. He didn't know about the pregnancy, but stepping inside the castle, he sensed a new form of energy which was not there in the castle previously, and ended up thinking that somebody of some different clan must have arrived.

But to his surprise, Melanie was sitting there with a huge baby bump.

His calm face showed a little and a faint smile, which didn't go unnoticed by Ester and he greeted him.

"How are you my child..!?"

asked SHALA stepping close to Melanie and patting her head lovingly.

"I am fine, grandpa SHALA." replied Melanie trying to stand up to greet him, but he stopped her in the middle saying..

"No, No ... Child, you shouldn't stand up. Rest dear... the upcoming days with this baby are going to be tiring a lot." saying this he chuckled a bit not to let anyone guess the hidden meanings behind his words.

"So, I guess that I m summoned here to tell about the child, and not to see my grandson and grand daughter-in-law...!!!" said SHALA eyeing his friend the grand king.

"Hihi..you know that buddy, it's not like that.

We weren't aware about this sweet little surprise. Now, don't be an old lady and.....Come on, tell me fast about my grandson's coming baby. I am very eager to know." "You .... You baggy Cross ... don't mock me okay..." said SHALA taking his slow steps.

With a helpless sigh, SHALA stepped close to Melanie and kept a red colored cloth over her belly from his bag. Then he kept his hand over her belly while closing his eyes.

He enchanted some mantras and then his visions starts to appear. After a long 10 minutes of complete silence, he shot open his eyes.

Everybody was gazing at him to say something while he was just shifting his gazes from Melanie to her belly.

Suddenly, he hauled up from his sit and with his most weird of tone and expressions, spoke...

"This child will change everything. She.. she will change everything..

.... EVERYTHING....!"

He left after saying and murmuring these words.

Tears rolled down from deep lake like eyes of lady Melanie as soon as she heard the words spoken by priest SHALA.

She had been worried since the moment she had stepped in the castle about the safety, sound health and good future of her child. But all her concerns became true as the Priest said that.. "She will change everything."

Those words were continuously reverberating inside her head like a malfunctioned reel had been playing.

Watching the girl cry like this, the tears found their way in the old worried eyes of Grand Empress back in DAWN MOUNTAINS.

Yes, Grand Empress. She had been reading the heavenly book and had been engrossed into this story of Lady Melanie wholeheartedly. It was a magical book. The letters only appear when you open the pages and chant the spell for them to appear. Along with the letters over the first few pages, the scenario changed totally and instead of letters, the people started to appear inside the pages and they were just like living people.

Grand Empress could see the characters walking and it was like the book was some kind of an LCD and the characters were playing on it like a movie.

Thus, the need for her to read that heavenly book was no more felt as the story was unfolding slowly on its own. The book had become wet as if 2-3 water droplets were poured over the page, but in reality it was the tears of lady Melanie.

The grand Empress got mesmerized over the magical nature of this huge book and recollecting her emotions, she started to watch the book again, wiping her tears feeling worried for Melanie.

-INSIDE RIVERSTONE TOWN JUNGLE~

The angry Werewolf Emerald was sitting besides the pond that he had sealed trying to process the things that had been happening to him recently.

Meanwhile he was in his own thoughts, his phone rang suddenly. It was a call from his beta Jack who was having a hard time handling the affairs inside AZURE corporation after his Alpha's sudden departure.

"Shoot " spoke Emerald in a harsh tone. He hated that when anybody disturbed his alone time but what could be done because Jack only called in the times of urgency.

"Alpha, if you are done, you have to be here in the company. These delicates are not listening to anything and are demanding to see only you." he spoke maintaining his composure not showing that he was totally racked handling those people. "Can't you handle it Jack.!?" Emerald roared in his alpha tone making jack shiver over the other side of the phone.

"I... I am afraid I can't alpha. " said jack while stuttering.

"Husshhh..." alpha Emerald hushed jack and cut the call. He snapped himself out of his dazzled feelings and headed back to the city leaving RIVERSTONE TOWN back.

While Scarlet was inside the library of university, she had now been fully convinced that she is a mermaid. Her powers are still out of her control. At the sight of water, he mermaid instincts started to act and it was very hard to control.

In the morning too, when she was in her bathroom and was going to have shower, she just became restless and her eyes started to glisten at the sight of water.

She wasn't able to control herself and ended up getting in the bath tub and that too for a long time shifting to her mermaid form.

It was a relief that it all happened inside her bathroom, but she was worried when she realised that she can not control her powers rather these powers control her body. She need to control herself.

'You should try to control yourself Scarf, or else you will land you bubble a*s into a huge problem. She thought this in the morning and now ended up in the library searching for the books so that she could get some information about mermaid and her powers, skills and something.. like even a mere things was sufficient to help her now.

She had already ran her brain errands surfing the internet since morning and when she didn't get even a single piece of information after rucking her brain for 4 hours, she decided to find the answers in books.

She had been searching for a suitable book since the past half an hour, but in vain. becoming hopeless, when she was just about to turn away, a faint yet magnetic voice stopped her in her own steps and she recognized the owner of the voice. It was none other than Luke.

'This arrogant and insulting Mentor of mine again. I am sure he is going to school me here again. She thought and turned towards him.

"Hey, you.. what are you doing here ..!" she whispered going close to him and peeking at his hands which were holding a book whose cover was looking alluring to her yet the title wasn't visible properly.

"To help you."

he spoke in two words which made her eyes sparkle. She had been finding everything for help and this man showed up from nowhere.

"Take it. It will help you." he said handing her over the book taking her out of her own la la land.

She read the title and got satisfied for a moment, whispered in a low voice the title of book, which was audible to her only...

"BEING A MERMAID"

"So, she is a mermaid and now she is going to find out about her powers." Choice said adjusting her newly stitched silk gown of cream white color twirling like a little girl.

"Hm... let's hope that this book given by Mr. Camel proves to be a useful one." Murmured Destiny while Choice was busy in her own wonderland.
