12000 years ago, Inside a large king sized room, a lady who seemed to be in her mid thirties was lying over the large bed and was holding her protruding belly, showing that she was pregnant. Sensing from the size of massive baby bump, it was clear that the baby could be born at any time. The room was totally white in color with white walls, white wind chimes, white curtains but with patches of golden and slight blue shades which gave off the aura like it belonged to a spiritual being.

Lady Melanie Cross was resting over the bed holding a scripture in her hands while lying and was reading it as if she was trying to take out something from that scripture.

She was a kind hearted lady who was known all over the mountains for her kindness and gentleness. She was one of her kind and believed to forgive those who had done anything dangerous or harmful, for she believed that everyone deserves a second chance. Some people even said that she was the most kind hearted fairy in the whole of the Divine mountains.

It was like some even claimed that even if she was asked to rip off her own heart to save some stranger, she wouldn't hesitate to do that. Everyone loved her and wanted her as the queen and Ester Cross as the king, but fate was not at their side and they were living like some officials in their own kingdom outside of the castle.

Lady Melanie hauled up from her bed holding her baby bump with one of her hands caressing it softly and lovingly while placing the other hand over the edge of the bed for supporting her body. She was in her last month of pregnancy and was expecting a little munchkin soon.

Her husband Ester Cross was a member of the COURT OF HEAVENS and was not present in the house at the moment. She slowly and carefully moved towards the window, placing her one hand over the protruding belly and the other over the side of the window sighing a long sigh and wondered over all the things that had happened over the past 500 years. Yes, she was 500 years old but because she was a fairy, her age couldn't be deciphered merely looking at her angelic face.

All the things started to play in her head like a film was going on. Why she was here in this house and not inside the castle inspite of being the younger LADY OF DIVINE MOUNTAINS.

Yes, she was the younger daughter-in-law of the king of the DIVINE MOUNTAINS and her husband Ester Cross was the younger prince.

As to how she and her dear husband ended up being here far away from DIVINE MOUNTAINS and their family was in her past now.

All this had happened because of her greedy sister Melinda Cross who had been married to the elder prince Ember Cross 50 years ago and they had two children. Melinda had always been greedy for powers and positions. She wanted everything for herself. Although she loved her sister Melanie very much in their younger years, but everything else changed after the duo's marriage. The king's elder son had took a fantasy over Melinda who was quite a beauty and the royals proposed a marriage to her parents who were high officials in the COURT OF HEAVENSat that time.

Everything was going smoothly unless the then king of DIVINE MOUNTAINS came to know about Melanie and wished to see her. Just when he saw her, he proposed the marriage of his younger son Ester Cross to the younger daughter and on the same day, the both brothers got married to both of the sisters.

Everything was too smooth and they were happy up to 5 years but then one day, the news of Melanie being pregnant reached Melinda's ears. Although she was very happy for her sister,but day by day things we're changing.

Fairies never rushed for a child as they don't age like humans after a certain interval of time and in their reproductive years, their age kind of stops.

As the king had only two sons, so it was quite obvious that the whole powers and properties would be distributed among both of them. But because of everyone's increasing affection towards Melanie due to her pregnancy, Melinda was getting furious and was feeling like she had been left out.

Melinda wasn't a bad sister. She loved her sister dearly, but now the things weren't the same.

She wanted all that love, care and buzzing around her and for her only being elder, but she started to feel like Melanie had stolen her position.

She became cunning and thought of various ways to abort the unborn child. She went on trying hard and hard. Melanie was never able to think that her own sister wanted to ruin her happiness and that too just for power and position. That power and Position was never something that Melanie had wished for. It was blessed to her with her marriage.

The sisters got along very well but now it was different. Melinda made sadly plans and she got success and aborted the child.

Melanie miscarried the baby and she was shattered. Ester was badly affected when he came to know that her had lost his baby. Everybody went gloomy and because it was the first child and at that time, the conditions of war had been going on.

So, they concluded that Melanie must had been worried for the kingdom and stress caused her to miscarry the baby. Nobody had a single ounce of doubt on Melinda who was happy but also not happy. She was happy because the attention that Melanie was getting had been snatched away, but was not happy because her little sister was sad.

But what was done,... was done. It couldn't be amended now.

One day, Melanie came to know that it was her own sister who had fed her the medicine which caused this ruckus and made her loose the child. She mustered all of her courage and faced her sister. she questioned her and to her surprise, she found that her only sister who had always loved her, protected her from all the happenings all over the world was now hating her the most and that too because of some lame feelings of jealousy.

But still she didn't blame her. It was her character. Her kind-heart was not able to forgive Melinda may be because she had harmed her unborn child, but still she couldn't hate her.

She told everything to her husband Ester and they both decided to leave the castle so that after their departure, Melinda would get her position back and the left over love between the sisters would prevail.

When they told their decision, the kind and queen didn't ask them anything as they blindly believed Melanie and their son Ester and trusted their decisions. They allowed them to leave and wished everything to be good soon.

That was how Melanie and Ester ended up here in the outskirts of DIVINE MOUNTAINS over a cliff in this house which was nothing in front of the castle but was way too sufficient for two people to live happily and they were provided some maids.

After that incident, Melanie and Ester took a long time to decide for a child and now after almost 44 years, they had conceived again.

Today, Melanie was a bit worried too because, it was the day of her visit to the castle. They had to go to the King and Queen and the whole of the Cross family every year for a family get together.

It was decided back then so as to maintain harmonious relationship between all the family members.

They had successfully hidden the news of her being pregnant but now with their visit to the ROYAL CASTLE, was it going to be a happy one or ..........
