Chapter 25

~DAWN MOUNTAIN-

The old lady had opened the first page of the heavenly book and with the commands of previous king, she was going to read each and every thing inside the book.

She peeked over the letters which were not that bold that they could be read very easily. But she was a werewolf and moreover these days she had been taking the herbs recommended by the late Emperor to boost up her senses. Thus, she could read the faint

letters clearly.

The first chapter was something like FAIRY LAND....

She started reading it sophisticatedly. it's contents were summarized like ...

'There was a little fairy girl who was born to the king and queen of the fairy land about 12000 years ago in the heavens. She was the most prettiest child they had ever had in the whole of the fairy world and was way too naughty...but she got indulged into a bloody blood pact with a demon.' -RIVERSTONE TOWN JUNGLE-

When Emmy witnessed the duo talking to each other, his anger worsened even more and his hands turned into tight fists with his blood boiling. But he wasn't aware as to why was this all happening to him and why did he care that much for scarf? Was this girl some sort of a magician or a hypnotist who had taken away all of his senses and made him act like this, all jealous and burning?

And just a mere glance over her beautiful face, he became relaxed! Why only she could calm his raged mind and what were these emotions.?

While he was lost in his thoughts, Luke inside the hut called scarf and made her understand the importance of her powers. After a while they both had some fruits which Luke had collected from the jungle before scarf's getting up.

He suggested pondering for a while..."Little Girl, you should head for your house now."

Listening about home, scarf just realized that she had long been away from her parents. She had seen them yesterday morning before going to University.

But Luke's remark of calling her a 'little girl' every now and then was getting on her nerves for sure. For God sake, she was not a little kid or baby, she was a grown up 21 years old girl and here this man.... Oooppsssss.. this werewolf was calling her little girl again and again.

"Hey, Mr. Camel ... I am not a little girl okay!!" she made him understand her point raising a finger over his side to which he was totally reluctant and took it as a child's play.

She got that this man would be getting on her nerves pretty well in the upcoming future too, so just decided to leave it as such and move on to the more important matter at this present situation. Hurriedly keeping the left over apple in her hand in the nearby table, she hauled up immediately from her sit and asked Luke,

"What do you think Mr. camel? I think that my dad would have filed a missing complaint."

Luke "....."

"Missing complaint...!!!" He asked with one eyebrow raised slightly wondering as to how many times he would have to think about the fact that this girl's brain works differently.

But in the next second, he realized the graveness of her words and thought that she was right. But she didn't know that he had already informed her parents.

"Yes Mr. Camel. I mean I didn't reach home yesterday night and it's almost about 24 hours since I last saw my family. So it's obvious for dad to file a complaint. what do you think?"

Luke sighed inwardly over her smart brain which was as dumb as it was smart. Or it could be said that it was more dumb than being smart and replied back while trying to keep her mouth shut saying....

"No, nothing like this have had happened girl. Don't let your tiny brain work over the things that can't be accommodated in it."

'Did he just insult me again...!?' Scarlet asked herself and felt like he had splashed a bucket full of ice over her head with his words.

"How are you do sure about it Mr. Camel.!?" She asked him gazing deep into his brown eyes.

He replied while munching on his apple..." I had already called your dad yesterday night to inform him that you were with your friends and were engaged into assignments. So, he wouldn't file any complaint of you being missing." Scarlet got impressed immediately and watched him like a toddler watch his guardian saying..." Woohh... I didn't know that you are that much prepared for this so called mission of yours Mr. Camel."

She hurried inside the room and collected all the things inside her kit. She came out and while rushing towards the door in a speedy way told Luke..." Anyways thanks for helping me out Mr. camel. But I still don't trust you completely." When she was about to step out, the man over there reached at her side in a light speed stopping her and opening the door saying....

"Watch your tongue girl. I am your mentor, not your admirer. Call me teacher or mentor...and that too with respect.

And one more thing, don't reveal your powers to anybody unless we find why you have been chosen for these powers. Don't create any ruckus with this tiny and dumb mind of yours girl."

He again scolded her or tried to do so. One thing was pretty sure that although he was going to suffer with this girl's ways of handling and imagining things, but he was surely going to enjoy things.

"Yooouuuuu...." scarf glared him with rage filled eyes as he had insulted her again this time but back her emotions because by hook or by crook, this man in front of her was her savior and he was the only one who could help her adapt and adjust with the new powers that she had gotten recently. So, I stead of marching over him,... she lowered her gaze and turned it into more sophisticated one saying softly.....

"Yes, .. teacher.. I mean mentor. I will follow your commands. Now allow me to leave."

Luke stepped aside and felt proud of himself thinking that he had successfully tamed this girl's temper. While she stepped outside the hut and intended to leave, he said softly...

"Watch out on your way. Don't get yourself into another trouble. Take care. We will see each other soon."

She nodded an left immediately taking fast paces heading towards her home which was approximately 30-40 away from this area leaving the man wonder as to why she had been chosen.

- DESTINY LAND-

"It looks like Mr. Camel is going to have a hard time handling our little fish." Said Choice pouting while Destiny just nodded in a yes.

"But sister, what is this blood pact, that grand Empress was going to read about?" asked Choice getting extra curious but wasn't provided any answer, instead Destiny just shrugged her shoulders saying...

"I don't know about this."

"Huhhh...! How can you say that sister. It was you who made them land in these situations. Now you are saying you don't know about this." Choice poker her sister's arm playfully.

"

CHOIIICCEEEEE...." Yelled Destiny while Choice ran far from there saving herself from her sister's wrath.
