Chapter 24

Emerald sat beside the pond feeling the scent of Scarlet which was making him calm, yet his mind was now in another chaos.

The figure that was watching all the events hiding himself over the side of a big tree was none other than a man appointed by the dream - Catchers and as he came to know all the events, he hurried and rushed to the dream world to report things to his master. He wanted to know about all the things and hence thought it looked for her in the jungle. Because her scent was still there, so he assumed that she may still be present in the jungle.

He could see back in time but at this vary moment, his mind wasn't working properly, and he started to walk into the jungle following her scent which was intermingled with the scent of Luke Camel, a werewolf.

Soon he came across the hut which Luke had been using since yesterday to safeguard Scarlet and her powers. Luke knew very well that it was quite difficult to hide his own scent from alpha but still he used his powers to cast a spell all over the hut, so that Emerald couldn't notice his presence in there.

This was only for some time as Alpha can recognize each and every wolf, be it from his own pack or some other pack, but it would hold him for the time being.

When Luke was assigned this mission, he had been warned to be extra careful around Emerald and why was that... he still didn't know that.

He didn't want to do it any way but still as he was following grand Empress' commands, so he was trying to hide this all for the time being. But he forgot about the powers of alpha and that too alpha Emerald who was born on blood moon with so many powers that nobody had ever had in their whole clan, not even their ancestors.

Scarlet was perplexed. She had successfully stepped into a set of new clothes with afresh Tee and a baggy pant by now, and was waiting for Luke to answer her questions.

But finding the man utterly silent, she couldn't hold herself for any longer and asked enthusiastically that too blackmailing him ....

"Yaah ... if you don't want to tell me, then let me go. I would rather stay in the pond than being with you and bearing your silent treatment Mr....!?"

She had knowingly added the questions mark at the end of her statement to let Luke know that she still don't know his name and Luke guessed her thoughts totally correct. This he started softly speaking not be fore husshhhiing her gesturing her to lower down her voice.

"My name is Luke Camel, and I am a werewolf. " As soon as the words werewolf left out his thin lips, Scarlet couldn't help but gasp in aww ... But she didn't say anything to mock him because now she understood that all kinds of creatures exist as now she herself was a mermaid too.

If a mermaid could be there which she happened to be, then what was the surprising thing about being a werewolf except that he had got handsome features.

'Scarlet, you should just distance yourself from Eva. She is changing your personality into a drooling girl. She mind-slapped herself for those thoughts of hers.

Not only that, but she stayed silent and tried to be a good and calm listener. The man found the girl a good girl for the first time ever since he had met her and continued...

"I am from the werewolf clan. I am a guide werewolf. And I am on a mission to help you."

As he briefed everything about himself and his purpose there, he found the girl was frowning her brows like she didn't get anything, and he wandered in his mind ......

'How could I forget that she is dumb. If she can think of herself as a blood sucking mermaid, then how would she understand the briefing. Looks like I have to tell her in detail. And he sighed deeply.

"Look girl, I don't know much about this stuff. But to make you understand in a simple way, just consider me as your teacher who would help you unleash your powers and teach you how to use them at the time of need. Moreover, I am here on my mission, so behave like a student to me not a hooligan. I don't buy such goon like acts."

Scarlet was ready to march him with her numerous questions again this time, but he shoved his right hand in air telling her to keep quiet and said......

"One more things, don't speak unless I say you to. You are too noisy."

Now this was her limit. She totally became raged and thought...

'You ... Do you think you can get away from me Mr. camel... I will teach you a lesson' and grinned weirdly which didn't go unnoticed by Luke.

Here Emerald was standing outside the hut and despite the hut sealed by Luke's powers, he could gaze inside and found that both of them were present there. His veins got popped out in anger when he saw Luke leaning over Scarlet. But it was a mistake because Luke was warning her and here Emerald's frustrated mind got even frustrated.

-DAWN MOUNTAIN~

Inside a perfectly furniture house over the DAWN MOUNTAIN, an old lady aka Empress was sitting over her couch while having a book in front of her which was rested on the mahogany desk and was emitting blue light still draped in that holy cloth. She wanted to know all the things and now the only way out to this was reading this heavenly book, but still she wasn't ready to do this.

Her mind was still in chaos and heart worried. What if she found out something which she wouldn't be able to handle? What would she do by then?

Her husband wasn't there with her too, who would encourage her. Although she was a powerful lady in this phase of life and held so many authorities that she could take down the king from his throne with just one say, yet she wasn't ready for this adventure. And all of this nervousness was just because this was concerned with her dear child, her dear grandson Emerald.

Still, she knew she had to do it. Also, she needed to know about that girl who was so important that Emperor told her to send a guide werewolf to protect her.

With a deep and helpless sigh, she opened the book and started to read the contents which were displayed like

'Fairy land!

~ DESTINY LAND~

"Sister, I am so excited. Now Grand Empress will read everything, and we will get to know all the pasts. What do you say...??" said Choice munching the food from her plate.

"Why are you always eating like a cow? And stop making these weird noises. Just hope for the best." Said Destiny schooling her younger sister who was totally not listening to her.
