Just when she said those stupid words, Luke slapped himself in his mind thinking how he would be handling this messy girl.

No doubt, she is a beauty whom everybody would love to have for himself but her mind... did it really function well?

He was thinking all these things when he questioned the lords in his mind asking ...

"How...!!? And why did you choose her? She is totally dumb."

"Hey, what are you thinking sitting at the side? Don't tell me that you are cursing me!... Because if you are doing so... then watch out." The girl said from under the water still playing like a kid while splashing some water droplets out of it. Luke this time couldn't keep his mouth shut and ended up asking her .......

"And what if I had cursed you in mind, little girl.? What will you do about that Han...??"

The answer which she gave off made him chuckle first, and then he laughed out loud holding his stomach.

"If you curse Me then I would suck your blood with my these sharp and strong teeth." She replied with glittering eyes and showing him her teeth which were way too dangerous by now and looked like a Megalodon.

While he was laughing, she got dazzled and couldn't stop but ask him

"Why the hell are you laughing like this?"

Hearing her question, he composed himself and replied......

"You. You are a mermaid not a vampire. Then how could you suck my blood, little girl.?"

He was right. She didn't have gangs to suck blood. But still, she couldn't accept defeat. Thinking for a while and being herself, she tried to retain her arguing character thus replying making him sigh again...

"What if I'm a blood sucking mermaid.?"

Luke "..."

'Is this girl seriously dumb or some water have got into her brain affecting its functioning badly. What nonsense is she spitting out?' he thought in his mind.

First he thought to school her and fill her brain with some sense, but then he chooses to let it be. He had heard the phrase 'Never argue with a woman. She would find out ways to make you accept that you are guilty even if you are not! So, he chose to pass it. 'Let it be.' And continued.......

"Anyhow, it's more than enough time that you have to spend in there girl. Come on now step out fast." Said Luke giving her his hand to step out of the pond.

"No, but I like in here. I don't want to step out of the pond. It's making me feel so good and relaxed. I feel more and more energetic. Moreover, just look at me... my hairs they are glowing and my fishtail... Hey, did you just notice my fishtail can change colors." She flapped the fishtail and showed Luke the various colors with so much excitement as she is a little toddler and had got her favorite candy.

"Yes, I can see. It's very beautiful. Now come on, step out." Luke rushed her again. He knew that her powers were new, and they were getting enhanced because of staying in the pond for longer duration. He was about to say something again, but he felt a presence besides him.

Furthermore, he turned hurriedly and found there was no one. But it was never that the guide werewolf would guess it wrong. So, being damn sure, he again rushed the girl to step out of the pond.

But she was way too immersed in playing with water. Suddenly a faint yet strong smell reached his near and his whole body turned stiff at that moment. He had realized that it is none other than the alpha Emerald. But why was her here in this jungle when it's only a human area and there were no werewolves.

As he thought of this, the reality hit him too hardly, and he came to know the exact purpose of alpha Emerald visiting the area.

'Yes, alpha is here to seal the pond again. He must have got the news about this silly intruder. Oh, goddess... I have to rush' Thinking this in his mind, he urged the girl to step out, but she was reluctant. So, he ended up just dragging her out of the water.

As the girl landed out of water, the fishtail turned into two slender and beautifully toned legs. Her upper bare body was only having a loose shred of cloth which was barely covering her chest.

Still, she didn't pay attention to this and just became raged and marched over Luke in the speed of light holding him down "Yaah ... Why did you drag me out. ? I was enjoying it." Watching over her dazzled and looking at the position they were in, he nearly spat out blood and pushed her away from him like he was somewhat disgusted scolding her ....

"Girl, you are a mermaid but still behave like a girl. Don't be a hooligan in a broad daylight. Remember I'm not a mere human whom you want to mess with."

She felt that he had just schooled her and asked him

"Then who the hell are you.?"

"Follow me to the hut, I will tell you everything."

Luke marched towards the hut with long strides with the girl tailing off behind him like a little pet wagging his tail being curious.

Over the other side, Emerald had reached the jungle and rushed towards the pond. Just as he stepped in there, he sensed the presence of two people, and he was sure that one of them was a werewolf. He tried to find who they were and in no time, he located the guide werewolf in his vision recalling his presence there besides the pond a few moments ago.

But he was with someone else and who was this girl. He became shocked and shot open his eyes when he realized that the guide werewolf Luke was present here along with Scarlet.

He wanted to know their reason of being there but sealing the pond was more important and hence he called for the heavens in the castle of moon goddess to gain permission for sealing the pond.

Soon a blue light flickered over his head transmitting between his eyebrows, and it encircled the pond making it sealed from the outer world again. But was it the case or something else could happen ??

While Luke and Scarf were inside the hut already and Scarf was looking at him like she had been expecting him to answer her questions as soon as he would open his mouth, Emerald was in a surprise finding that what was Scarlet doing here in the jungle and that too with the guide werewolf.

Except these three, there was another person present who was looking at all the events from the morning and was going to report it to someone else.

Choice was having her lavish meals while Destiny was sitting enjoying the view outside feeling worried about the future.

Choice poker her from behind and used her unfinished bowl of soup while gesturing her to sip it saying...

"Don't worry sister. This time, I am here."

Destiny denied having soup murmuring...... "That's why I am getting worried."

Choice.................!!"
