Chapter 47

ALIYAH’S POV

“You’re pregnant, Aliyah….”

“W—What did you say?” I asked, my heart racing at the moment, completely confused and startled about what he had just told me.

I am… what?

Pregnant?

He stared down at me intently. His pair of blue eyes were seemingly trying to read the emotions in my eyes; to get through me and read my mind. I drew in a breath, and held his hand tight.

Swallowing hard, I asked, “What are you saying? I… I don’t understand.”

Reid inhaled sharply, taking his hand on my jaw and cupping it. “We are having a child, Aliyah. You are going to be a mother soon.”

I blinked twice as my heart pounded more violently inside my chest, and my mouth fell open at the same time. I was so completely stunned that I couldn’t speak after hearing it from him. I just stared up at him, trying to process everything he said, and when it sank, I just felt the waves of emotions going through me, making me feel nothing but the all too familiar warmth, excitement, and a sheer amount of happiness.

I gasped and moved my hand down my abdomen, trying to feel the baby’s heart beat as my eyes welled up with tears. It was so sudden, and it felt so great that I forgot to breathe for a split second.

“A—Are you sure?”

Reid pressed his forehead to mine. He breathed in, with a small smile escaping his lips, and then he nodded slowly.

“Yes, Aliyah. You are, indeed, pregnant….”

The great news made my tears stream down my face. I was so beyond the moon that I couldn’t say anything other than cry, hold my abdomen and look at Reid with a smile on my trembling lips. He then pulled me into a hug, and then he chuckled.

“You’re not supposed to cry, little wolf.”

I inhaled. “Wow… I, I never thought I was capable of bearing a child. We—We’re going to become parents. We’re going to have our family…”

“That’s right, my love. We’ll be having a family of our own… and I can’t wait to carry our little one in my arms.”

Oh my god. My heart sank in happiness, envisioning the family I’ve been dreaming of. I looked at Reid, smiling heartily.

He was the reason I found hope when I thought my life was meaningless and I should’ve died. He was the reason why I felt a new and intense kind of love just when I thought I wasn’t deserving of it… and now, he gave me another reason to live. He made my dream come true, and I couldn’t be happier right at this point.

His fingers lightly traced my lower l*p, and I couldn’t help but gasp from both happiness and the desire that he was making me feel at the time.

“You made me the happiest,” I said as I sobbed.

He then let out a growl at my words.

“I’ve never been this happy all my life, Aliyah. You have no idea how this thing made me so f*****g happy that I can’t breathe anymore.”

With that, he leaned down on me and claimed my lips. He devoured me with k****s, and I was left breathless while I kissed him back, my hand holding his nape to deepen it.

I was so happy to the extent that I wanted to feel him, to go on top of me and crash me down until we both exploded in pleasure. The news made me f*****g horny. All I wanted was s*x.

His other arm tightened around my h**s, and I gasped when I felt his mouth trying to part my lips, and when he did he tasted every corner of my mouth, making me m**n softly.

I broke the k**s, gasping for air. He was caressing my cheek and h**s in the process, and after a minute, he claimed my mouth again. I was all too aware that he wanted it too. His k****s were so demanding, making me lose my mind because of the intense sensation running through my body.

“C—Can we make love?” I asked carefully as I pulled away.

His pair of blue eyes radiated hunger… the same emotion I was feeling at the moment. His jaw clenched right before he nodded at me.

“Of course. It’s safe.”

I clutched his shoulder and pressed my hot body against his.

“Then make love to me, Reid…” I said, but my voice was soft, like a whisper. “I am so happy that I want you inside me right now.”

“Damn it, Aliyah.” He growled with possessiveness at my words, and before I even realized it, he had already slid his fingers down my groin area and touched me.

One minute we were kissing roughly, and another minute he was already undressing me naked. My mind was already hazed, and the only thing I was aware of was my need for Reid. That completely overwhelmed me.

And it felt so damn right… more so than anything else in the world.

Reid was just as hungry as I was right now, and so when he finally filled me up with his hard length, I began to lose my sanity.

He thrust himself into me like a wild, yet careful animal, seemingly wanting to feel the pleasure but wouldn’t want to hurt our little one. My fingers were at his back, digging deeper into his skin every time he thrust.

“Ahhh…” I m****d in deep pleasure.

I cried out with each thrust he made, gritting my teeth until he crushed my lips again.

I wanted him… so badly.

“This feels so good,” he whispered in between our k****s, and I smirked.

It only took a few more thrusts before I felt that I was coming. I could feel my body already tightening with every thrust he made. I g*****d, totally lost in the heat and the pleasure washing over me.

My back arched as I came, and seconds after that, Reid came inside of me. We both stilled, and found ourselves panting while our bodies were still colliding.

“I love you…” He pressed his forehead to mine.

It was that moment that I cried again, completely happy about everything happening in my life right now. Reid kissed my forehead and pulled me into a hug.

“I’m so happy that we’re having a child…” I whispered.

He wiped my tears away, and then chuckled. “I am too. I am excited to witness every phase of your pregnancy. I think it will be the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed in the world.”

His words made me chuckle. I shut my eyes and buried my head on his chest as I started to trace circles on it with my fingers.

“And I promise I’ll protect you, look after you, and love you with all my might, Aliyah,” he said as he stroked my hair. “We have to be careful with your body.”

I nodded, agreeing with what he said. “I will be careful, Reid. I will protect our child from anything.”

“We will, Aliyah. We will do this together…”

I blinked my tears away, looking up at him with a smile of contentment on my lips.

This… this is my everything.
