Alice's body stiffened. She looked at Rosalie, Jensen's mother, who seemed to have shown up with ill intent.

Grace's body turned rigid as well and she could sense the tension in Alice's body. She let out a surreptitious sigh.

Speak of the devil, and he will come.

Rosalie had come prepared this time.

Heinz smiled gently, but there was a sharp look in his eyes. He said in a low voice, "Aunt Brooks, these are some troubled times in the family lately. Why didn't you call in advance?"

"Heinz, wouldn't have to call you in advance before coming here make it seem like I'm a stranger?" Rosalie was also impolite. "Since you're all back, you two sisters don't have to avoid me anymore. Let's have a talk."

When Grace heard what she said, it seemed like she wanted to lay everything out.

Alice nervously held Grace's arm and was incredibly scared.

Grace quietly reached out and stroked Alice's hand. She didn't expect Alice to be affected till the point of being fearful.

Heinz furrowed his eyebrows and said with a deep smile, "Yes, you're certainly not a stranger, Aunt Brooks. It's right to treat this place as your own home. It's just that my wife is pregnant, so she has to rest, and shouldn't get involved in anything. Alice, hurry up and take your sister back to her room to rest."

Heinz didn't give Rosalie any chance to speak at all. He ordered Alice and Grace to leave immediately in a strong and overbearing manner.

Grace understood what he meant, nodded slightly at Rosalie, and took Alice to the back door.

Rosalie opened her mouth and looked at Heinz in surprise. "Grace... Grace is pregnant?"

"Yes." Heinz walked over to Rosalie with a faint smile on his face and a hint of pride in his eyes. "Aunt Brooks, please come in. Butler, have you served tea yet?"

"Sir, I served tea to Mrs. Charm a while ago. I'll serve you tea again right away." The butler immediately ordered the staff to serve Rosalie and Heinz a cup of tea.

Rosalie's expression was very stiff. She hadn't thought that Grace would actually be pregnant. She had come at a very bad time.

She initially wanted to pay a visit to humiliate Alice. Even if she could not separate Jensen and Alice, at least she could make Alice feel bad. Unexpectedly, after coming here, she found out that Grace was pregnant, and Heinz had openly sent Alice away.

They did not give her the chance to speak at all. Rosalie's expression sank and she took a seat on the sofa.

Heinz saw Rosalie's face and sat down calmly. He smiled slightly and said, "Aunt Brooks, are you here to wish our relationships well?"

Rosalie's expression became even more awkward, and she wanted to say something.

Heinz talked quickly, not giving Rosalie a chance to speak at all. "Aunt Brooks, Jensen and I are getting married to a pair of sisters on the same day. It's wonderful fortune, but we've been troubled by some recent issues, so we haven't had time to celebrate. Are you going to celebrate with us today, Aunt Brooks?"

Of course, Heinz knew from Rosalie's expression that she was not here to congratulate them at all. Rosalie might have had the intention of tearing Jensen and Alice apart.

Heinz narrowed his eyes at her quietly. Since he was also sitting on the sofa, his posture was relaxed, which made him look even more shocking.

"I know that there are a lot of traditions in Northern City. After getting a marriage certificate, we should hold a grand wedding. We're discussing when the wedding should be held. Aunt Brooks, have you come today to plan Jensen's wedding?"

The question made Rosalie's face stiffen, and she looked very awkward.

At first, she didn't want Jensen to be with Alice. She wanted to stop them before the wedding, so at least they could get a divorce before anyone found out. This way, it would not be as shameful when he looked for another woman, and there would not be as big of an impact.

Unfortunately, she had come at the wrong time. She couldn't come when Grace had just gotten pregnant to make a scene. If she made everyone unhappy and negatively affected Grace's pregnancy, she would not know how to face Heinz.

Rosalie knew where to draw the line, so she had to swallow her words bitterly.

Looking at Heinz, she smiled awkwardly and said, "I didn't expect Grace to be pregnant. I wish you all congratulations. Heinz, this will be your third child." "Yes, Aunt Brooks." Heinz looked at Rosalie and understood that she knew where to draw the line and did not directly mention Alice and Jensen getting a divorce.

That meant that there was still room for negotiation. If Rosalie were to be ignorant of the occasion and insisted on Jensen and Alice getting divorced or making a scene that day, then Heinz would no longer be polite. However, now, looking at Rosalie's appearance, Heinz was still very respectful.

"It's wonderful. She's pregnant. The Jones family is growing and thriving. It must be a blessing from your ancestors!" Rosalie echoed awkwardly.

"Aunt Brooks, you're slightly wrong. I think the Jones family is thriving because of Grace. We should grateful for the children she's given us. For her first pregnancy, she gave birth to two lovely sons for me. Now she's pregnant again. The child must have good genes."

Rosalie curled her lips and couldn't help complaining. "She's much better than her sister. Alice, that little girl, pesters Jensen in the middle of the day to the point where he can't do anything. I think there's something wrong with her body, so she can't get pregnant. She's not like Grace, who has her limits and has a healthy body."

Rosalie's sour tone and anger were audible. She loathed Alice.

"Aunt Brooks, you should be happy that these newlyweds are attached to each other. Why do you sound so sour?"

Rosalie froze for a moment. "I'm not sour at all. I'm just being reasonable. A good man has ambitions. What kind of ambitious person would stay at home?"

"Aunt Brooks, didn't you think of Uncle Charm day and night when you were younger? In my opinion, if a young couple doesn't spend much time together, their feelings are probably fake. You should be happy for them."

"After all, Jensen's and Alice's good relationship is a blessing. It's also because of the Charm and Brook family's good karma that they're such an affectionate couple."

"Since they love each other and will have children in the future, their children will naturally grow up in a warm family. What a wonderful thing this is!" Heinz said a lot in one breath, and Rosalie could only smile awkwardly.

"I don't know when I'll be able to hold a grandson. That little girl doesn't look like she has a fertile body. Jensen shouldn't be with her." Rosalie finally exposed the reason why she was there.

Heinz raised his eyebrows. "Only the people involved know if they're right for each other or not. Marriage is like shoes that might or might not fit someone. Only the person who wears it will know. Aunt Brooks, you can't possibly live a day in Jensen's life, can you? Alice is someone that Jensen really loves and they've already received their marriage certificate. Do you want Jensen to have a black mark in his marriage records, Aunt Brooks? If he does, he'll find it hard to elevate his status. With a black mark, his road to promotion will hit a dead end."
