Maria understood clearly that she was a joke to him at this moment, the biggest joke in the world.

She also laughed.

Liam's eyes narrowed before he heard Maria ask him once more.

"Did you hear me on the phone?"

Maria didn't answer.

After all, she really did hear him.

The girl he liked was Celeste.

Maria really wanted to laugh, but her eyes felt sore and prickly for no good reason.

She was already 20 years old. She was no longer a crybaby.

"Maria Lowe, you're really strange," Liam looked at Maria sardonically as if he was mocking her question, "What does it have to do with Celeste? I just don't want you to interfere with my life. Didn't you say that you're not my fan, and I'm no longer your idol? Great. My career will be over, and you will be happy too. Isn't that even better?"

"I'm not as narrow-minded as you think. Even if you're no longer my role model and idol, you're still an idol I once liked. Naturally, I'm not willing to see your career plummet. Several minutes had passed. Finally, it was Maria who broke the silence. She said, "Two years ago, do you still remember our accidental kiss?"

The image of the kiss flashed through Liam's mind.

"You're the one who initiated it."

"Although I know it's nothing to you, it's my first kiss," Maria stared right into his eyes and witnessed his struggles.

Liam looked at Maria in shock. His eyes were filled with astonishment, and he looked frightened.

"That's why I want to take that kiss back."

As soon as she finished speaking, Maria stood on her tiptoes and hooked her arms around Liam's neck.

She aggressively and strongly kissed Liam's lips.

Almost instantly, Liam could feel the sensation on his lips. A current jolted his entire brain and caused him to tremble subconsciously. His eyes were widened too. Before he had time to react, the girl had put her tongue in overbearingly.

It was forceful and completely unpleasant.

However, Liam's heart began to beat faster.

He looked at the girl in front of him in disbelief, and his brain had completely short-circuited.

When he came to his senses, the first thing he thought was that he had been kissed by a woman. He didn't like this girl at all.

Liam immediately struggled and quickly reached out to stop her.

However, Maria held on to him tightly.

He stepped back and tried to pull his head back. His eyes were burning with anger from being forcefully kissed by a girl. Finally.

Just before Maria stopped, she bit Liam's lips hard.

"Liam Robinson," Maria declared, "You should be honoured when I allowed you to be presumptuous to me before. However, you humiliated me soon after that by forgetting my surname." Liam was stunned. He felt really sorry that he had forgotten her surname.

After all, it was true that he really didn't care about it. He felt quite sorry about that.

"So I took that kiss to humiliate you. From now on, we don't owe each other anything anymore."

Liam's heart jolted in a dull pain. It was as if someone had knocked on his heart with a hammer.

The pain made his mind go blank for a moment.

Humiliation?

She was humiliating him.

Liam's heart tightened and he clenched his fists in embarrassment. The knuckles of his fingers cracked.

Maria sneered, "What? Do you want to hit me?"

Liam pursed his lips, and a faint trickle of blood oozed from the corner of his mouth. It was very painful, but it was dangerously charming.

He stared at the girl's smile. She was still smiling. The agitation, hatred as well as the complicated emotions brewing in her gaze were no longer there. "Okay, we don't owe each other anything anymore," Liam gritted his teeth.

Upon hearing this, Maria forced another wry smile. She cursed him slowly, "I hope that you are forever doomed."
