True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1337
There was one master bedroom and three bedrooms. As usual, Celeste thought that the two rooms next door were the bedroom or the guest room, but instead, it was the closet and gym.
What about downstairs?
Celeste quickly headed downstairs and saw the room which was supposed to be a bedroom was actually the study room.
Oh god.
She stood at the door and was stunned. Was he planning to sleep with her?
Tonight?
She wanted to escape. In fact, she wanted to go back to the room in her home iback n London, or flee to the school dormitory. Just then!
Her reasoning pulled her out of her thoughts.
Celeste couldn't run away.
She didn't want to be a coward.
She loved him. For the past four years, he had been the only one in her heart.
Although she was very passive in terms of her feelings, she could no longer fit anyone else in her heart after he kissed her.
Celeste asked herself: was it because they had kissed that he was the only one in her heart?
Of course not.
From the very beginning, she was attracted to him. She was attracted by his unsociable character, and his brother was outstanding as well. Ernest was easy-going, but after getting along with him for a long time, Celeste found that Ernest was definitely not as easy-going as he appeared to be.
In fact, he was sharp and decisive. He was not inferior to Gary.
Comparatively, she even felt sorry for Gary since he was the type to not simply cater to others. It was also easier for her to get close to him.
Later on, she'd finally understood why Maria had always been testing her. It was because she was worried that she would be indecisive between Gary and Ernest. In fact, she and Ernest were just friends.
After she chose a different school, she, Ernest and Maria were just friends who would meet on weekends.
The four of them had long taken different routes in life.
Now that she asked herself if she really liked Gary, the answer was clear.
It was certain, and she was very sure about it.
Would she be willing to give herself to him?
The answer was yes, but she was a little afraid of it too.
She had heard rumours that the first time doing it would be slightly unpleasant.
She remembered that some locals in her dormitory had discussed this.
According to them, the first time they did it, it hurt.
She had read this in a book in the library.
The formative education abroad was better than that in her home country. The information about this was extremely detailed, so she could remember it vividly. Therefore, she was afraid.
Celeste hesitated for a very long time in the study room.
Time passed by slowly. No one knew how much time had passed.
Then, there came a knock on the door, pulling her mind back from her thoughts.
Celeste was stunned and turned to look at the door. She realized that she had closed the door of the study room.
"Gary?" She instinctively called out his name uncertainly.
"Of course it's me."
Gary's voice came from outside the door.
"Do you wish to see another man here besides me?"
His tone sounded dissatisfied.
Celeste immediately got up, walked to the door and opened it.
Gary stood in front of the door wearing a bathrobe. His body was long and slender, enshrouding her in his shadow.
"You've finished bathing?" Celeste asked in surprise, "That soon?"
"It's already been forty minutes," Gary said, "I was done within ten minutes. After waiting ten minutes for my girl but to no avail. Hence, I had to come down and look for her." He looked at her thoughtfully.
Celeste lowered her head guiltily, "Oh, it's been so long. I didn't notice."
"What are you thinking about?" Gary asked.
"It's nothing."
"You don't want to run away, do you?"
He was so sharp that he could guess her thoughts at a glance.
Celeste's head was buzzing because her thoughts had been exposed, and her palms were sweating.
"N-no."
"Why are you stuttering?" Gary smiled, "Are you feeling guilty? Did I guess what you were thinking?"
"No."
Celeste denied it, but her guilt made her voice sound weak.
"Little liar," Gary laughed as he snorted softly. His gaze fell on Celeste's face and he grunted, "Your thoughts are all written on your face." Celeste was embarrassed.
She took a deep breath and said quickly, "Well, I'll go upstairs to take a bath first."
She was very embarrassed.
She was afraid that he was serious about it. If he really wanted to do it, she hadn't even taken a bath yet.
Celeste pushed him away and ran upstairs.
Gary watched Celeste as she ran up and he wondered.
Did he hear it wrongly?
She said that she was going upstairs to take a bath.
Haha.
Wasn't his dreams coming true too quickly?
Just then, the phone rang.
He took his vibrating phone out and saw that it was a call from Ernest.
Gary's eyes narrowed and he picked it up, "Ernest."
"Gary, I called Lowell. He said that you are not in Boston. Where are you?" Ernest's emotions were masked and couldn't be guessed just from a mere phone call.
Gary, however, caught him. He asked slowly, "Ernest, you actually wanted to ask if I am in England, am I right?"
Ernest paused and suddenly laughed, "Do you mean that you are coming to England, or you are already in England?"
"Yes," Gary admitted coolly, "I'm in England."
"Then I'll call Celeste and Maria immediately to welcome you." "There's no need to," Gary told Ernest very directly, "I'm with Celeste. She won't be returning any soon, so you'd better not call her." Hearing this, Ernest suddenly fell silent. He didn't say a word for a long time.
"I'll call you when I need your hospitality," Gary didn't want to waste any more time.
"Gary, why did you come to England?" Ernest said with a smile, "I'm a little surprised. Why didn't you come when I asked you to come before? Why did you suddenly come this time? Can you tell me?"
"Of course, I'm here to take what I want," Gary chuckled, "I'm with Celeste. Please do not disturb me for the time being."
"Wait!" Ernest still wanted to say something, but Gary had already said goodbye and hung up the phone.
Ernest was stunned while he held his phone in the hall downstairs.
Meanwhile, Maria went downstairs and saw him in a daze. She was puzzled and asked, "What are you doing? Are you okay?"
"Gary is here," Ernest immediately came to his senses and shot her an understanding glance, "Celeste is with him. Please don't bother him these few days."
"Huh?" Maria was shocked and gasped, "He's actually in England! He hasn't visited for four years, but now, you're telling me that he's here and with Celeste? Did the sun rise in the west?"
Ernest shook his head and did not answer. He put the phone away and went upstairs.
Maria looked back at him and asked, "Hey, are you alright with that?"
Ernest turned to look at Maria and asked, "What do you want me to do? That's a weird question."
