The whole ceremony, Kai wouldn't leave my side. He wasn't kidding when he said he was possessive. If I moved even a foot away from him, he was pulling me back into his side. I like it though. A lot. And the way he looks at me makes me feel all hot.

Kaden disappeared for a bit. We didn't know where we went and we thought he had brought Aubrey, but then she came up to us asking if we had seen him. Max got worried and mind- linked him. We're now waiting for him outside the packhouse. He finally shows up about five minutes later, fuming. I know that face anywhere. Someone pissed him off. Big time. I lean into Aubrey.

"I don't know what happened, but when he's like this, it means he's really pissed and his wolf is trying to break through the surface. Maybe you could try to calm him down." I say to her quietly. Aubrey nods and walks over to Kaden, who's pacing back and forth, ignoring Max's questions. When Aubrey walks up to him, Kaden stops and looks at her. She pulls him into her and hugs him. I see his body instantly relax. That's a lot easier than him running into the forest and taking his frustration out on some tree like he usually does.

Max comes back over to me and Kai. "Where the hell was he?" Max mutters.

"I'm not sure. He's pretty angry right now so let's just let him cool down." I say. Max sighs.

"You guys can head out. The party is dying out. Austen already turned in and I'm going to as well. I just need to make sure Kaden's good." Max says.

"Are you sure?" I ask.

"Yes, I'm sure. You guys go." Max says, waving us off.

"He's permitting us to go. Let's go." Kai says, smirking at me. I feel a blush creep up on my face.

I already know what he's thinking about. And I want exactly the same thing.

We walk inside the packhouse and head upstairs.

"I know you have your room in the guest wing, but would you rather come sleep in my room?" Kai asks me. I smile at him.

"Yes, I would love to." I say. Kai leads me to his room. He opens the door and lets me inside first. I look around. The room smells exactly like him. I could just live here in this space.

I hear the door close and the click of the lock. I'm now fully aware I'm completely alone with Kai for the first time. No one around, no one waiting for us. And we're not in a dark alleyway. I turn to look at Kai and he's staring at me, looking me up and down. I'm fully clothed, but the way he's looking at me makes me feel so exposed. I bite my bottom lip, waiting for Kai to do something. His eyes immediately go to my lips.

"Are you trying to drive me nuts? Cause it's working." Kai says, his voice husky. It sends a shiver down my spine and I inhale a shaky breath.

"No, I'm not. But if it's too much for you to handle..." I shrug and turn around, unbuttoning my shirt. Kai comes over to me faster than I was expecting and spins me back around.

"Don't turn away from me. I want to see you. All of you." Kai whispers in my ear. I smirk and push him to sit down on the bed. I step back and continue to unbutton my shirt. I pull it off me and drop it beside me. I motion to Kai, telling him it's his turn. Kai rips his shirt open. My eyes go wide. I wasn't expecting that, but man that was hot. And his body looks like it was sculpted just for me.

"Like what you see?" Kai asks me.

"Yes, I do." I say. Kai stands up and walks over to me, his blonde hair falling in his face. I reach for the waistband of his pants, pulling him closer to me. "We haven't had the chance to get to know each other yet, but I know what I want. I feel so connected to you already and I want our bond to be stronger. I don't see a point in waiting unless you want to." I say, looking up at Kai. Kai smirks and lifts me off the ground, wrapping my legs around his waist.

"All I want is you. I waited two years to find my mate. I started to think it was impossible, that maybe I'd never find you. But here you are and I'm never f*g letting you go. Ever. If you want me to mark you tonight, I will gladly do it and make it the best night of your life." Kai says.

"Then do it." I whisper. Kai's eyes flash and suddenly I'm thrown down on the bed. Kai rips my pants and boxers off and takes his own off in quick movements. Kai climbs over top of me and I look at him. His eyes are full of l**t. He reaches into his side table beside his bed and grabs a bottle of lube. I blush, getting excited about what we're about to do.

Kai put some lube on his fingers and brings them down to my hole. I gasp as he inserts one finger. It's a little painful, but it's more pleasurable than anything. He starts to move a bit, then adds another finger, then another. Soon I'm a panting mess, begging him for more.

Kai trails kisses down my neck as he pulls his fingers out of me, making me groan at the loss. He shifts and lines himself up with my entrance. He pours more lube on himself, rubbing it onto his shaft. That sight alone could finish me off. Kai looks at me and I nod, letting him know I'm ready. He pushes inside me slowly and I close my eyes. It hurts, but it also feels amazing. The sparks from the mate bond and making everything so much better.

Once he's at the hilt, he stops, letting me adjust to him. When the pain is gone, I nod to him to keep going and he slowly starts moving. I moan out as Kai leans over me, the pleasure almost too much. He takes my length into his hand and starts pumping in rhythm with his thrusts. The faster he goes, the better it feels.

Kai starts kissing my neck as I feel myself coming closer, the fire building in my stomach. His nose brushes over my marking spot and I shiver.

"Goddess, you feel so good, baby. I want to mark you so bad." Kai whispers in a husky voice.

"Then mark me." I whisper back. I hear Kai growl before teeth scrape against my neck. Next thing I know, his teeth are sinking into me, giving me the most intense o****m I've ever felt in my life. I feel myself spurt on my stomach as Kai is still pumping and thrusting. I grab the back of Kai's neck, pulling him to me before I sink my teeth into him, marking him as mine as he did to me. Kai grunts loudly as I feel him finish inside me, his thrusts getting jagged. He slows down and leans into me and I remove my teeth from his neck. I lean my head back, panting.

"s**t, that was amazing." Kai whispers in my ear. I nod my head in agreement, unable to form words of how I feel right now. Kai pulls out of me and I make a pained face. "Sorry baby, but we have to clean up." Kai kisses my nose and I smile.

"I need to shower." I say as I look down at my stomach where my release is. I make a face. Kai

laughs.

"Don't like it on yourself?" Kai asks. I look up at him.

"Never had it on my stomach before. Feels sticky." I say, sitting up.

"Where does it usually go?" Kai asks me.

"I usually just do it in the shower." I say. Kai's eyes go dark.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have asked. I don't want to know about your past partners. My wolf is extremely jealous." Kai huffs.

"Well, there's nothing to be jealous over because my shower times have always been a solo act." I say, looking down. I suddenly feel so inexperienced. I hadn't even thought about the fact Kai could have had previous partners.

"You were a virgin up until just now?" Kai whispers. I nod slightly. Kai leans down in front of me, taking my hand.

"Baby, I wish you would have told me. I would've spent more time on you, making you feel good even longer. And I definitely would have been more gentle."

"It didn't really cross my mind. I know it's sort of old-fashioned to wait for your mate, but I

wanted to. Plus I only came out to my best friends recently, no one in my pack really knows. I've never had girlfriends or even kissed a girl because the pack hates me. So it was hard for me to come to terms with being gay without any real experience. I hadn't even thought that you'd be more experienced because you're actually liked in your pack. It's just different for me, I guess." I say, still looking down. Kai lifts my chin to look at him.

"I'm so sorry you've had to live this way. If I could, I'd take you away and you could live here

with me. But you're higher ranking than I am and your alpha needs his gamma. Maybe it will get better with me there with you. And I can't tell you that you're my first. I feel kind of guilty knowing you waited for me and I didn't do the same. But I can promise you that you will be my one and only from now on. I love you, Devin." Kai says quietly. I feel the tears prickling behind my eyes. His words hold so much meaning to me. I've never felt this kind of love until him and it only feels stronger now that we're fully mated.

I grab Kai's face, bringing his lips to mine. We kiss like that until we pull away breathless. "I love you too, Kai." I say. Kai smirks at me before standing up, picking me up bridal style. "Let's go get cleaned up." Kai says in a husky voice and I blush. I already know this shower is going to get steamy.
