Chapter 192

Crash! The wine bottle shattered, and the red wine poured down along Bennett's head. He staggered back and sat against the mahogany desk. The blood mixed with the wine was a ghastly sight.

George approached him slowly, and his jet-black eyes were filled with coldness. He squatted in front of Bennett and pressed the sharp end of the remaining wine bottle against his neck. His tone was low and chilly as he said, "If you dare have such ideas toward Suzy again, I'll throw you into the lake to feed the fish. Do you hear me?"

The shattered wine bottle was extremely sharp, and Bennett looked at George in horror before nodding slowly. George threw the wine bottle in his hand and stood up slowly. He glanced at Bennett with disdain and coldness before turning to walk away.

Only then did Bennett finally dare to speak out, "Servants! Help!"

After he called out twice, he heard someone going up the stairs. His vision turned dark before fainting

Meanwhile, George returned to his villa and asked the servant where Suzy was.

The servant immediately said, "Ms. Shirley is upstairs and hasn't gone out."

George replied with a light hum before going upstairs. He entered the bedroom. When he did not see Suzy, his face darkened slightly. He turned around to look for her inside the cloakroom and bathroom, but no one was there either.

He went out immediately and asked the servant who followed him in a cold voice, "Where's Suzy?"

The servant was also taken aback. "Ms. Shirley has always been upstairs."

George's face was distorted. Just as he wanted to ask the servant to go look for Suzy, he

suddenly thought of something. He turned around and went back to the bedroom. Then, he proceeded to walk straight toward the balcony.

Sure enough, Suzy was all curled up on the reclining chair and was sleeping soundly. She did not even realize that the book in her hand had fallen onto the floor.

George's tense face suddenly relaxed, and he could not help but raise his lips into a self deprecating smile. Did he care too much about her?

He felt that this was inappropriate, but since he had already walked over, George picked up the thin blanket next to her and gently covered her up.

"Mm"

Suzy let out a humn in her sleep and slowly opened her eyes,

George squatted in front of her, raised his hand to touch her picturesque appearance, and said

in a gentle voice, "Does your head still hurt?"

Suzy shook her head slightly with half-shut eyes. She drowsily looked at the man in front of her. "Why'd you come back so soon?" George chuckled. "You don't want me to come back?" Suzy pursed her lips and smiled but said nothing. "Go back to bed if you're sleepy, mm?" The man's eyes softened as he coaxed her softly. Suzy said softly, "No thanks. It's very comfortable to bask in the sun out here, and I can't sleep on the bed." George raised his brows. Since he was not able to persuade her, he might as well lay down on the reclining chair himself and take Suzy into his arms. "Then let's bask in the sun together."

Suzy leaned her body on him. The man was slender, but his chest was flexible and strong, which was more comfortable than hugging a pillow. George raised his hand and pressed his fingers on both sides of her temples, using neither light nor heavy force. His voice was magnetic and pleasant as he said, "Uncomfortable, hmm? Will you dare to be disobedient in the future?"

Suzy was comfortable from being massaged by him and started to fall asleep. Hearing him, she opened her eyes again, "It's worth the pain if it means Mr. George Laine would massage my head for me."

George chuckled. "Not bad. At least you still know how to compliment others."

Suzy raised her eyebrows. "Of course, I do. I just feel like it's beneath my dignity." George's eyes were filled with a sense of smile. "Then I'm truly honored!" Suzy smiled at him. Before she spoke again, she suddenly saw the stain on his clothes. She leaned over to smell it and frowned. "What happened?" He was wearing a black shirt, so it was not obvious. One would only think it was a wine stain if one did not take a good look. George's eyes were slightly cold, and he said indifferently, "Some blood splattered when I gutted a fish.'
