Chapter 181

After finishing the meal and returning to the villa, George said, "Hilde Merck came early and will be here this afternoon, so I can't take you home. I'll ask Jessie to drive you there."

Suzy seemed somewhat regretful and said, "What tough luck. I called my grandfather in the morning and he said he's gone over to the countryside. He's not in Cloud City right now, so I don't have to head back anymore."

George raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Is it far from here? If you want to go, I can ask Jessie to take you there."

"It's extremely far, so there's no need for me to go anymore. My grandfather said that I can come back to see him when the summer vacation is about to end."

George put his arms around her waist and placed her on the table. "Then it won't be a surprise anymore. Are you disappointed?"

Suzy shook her head. "I quite like this place, so I'll just think of it as though I'm on vacation."

"Then I'll take some time to keep you company this afternoon." George placed his hand on the side of her face and caressed it.

"Just go and get busy with your own matters. Winona texted me earlier saying that we should hang out together." Suzy raised her head and kissed the man's chin. "Don't worry about me."

"Atta girl!" The man smiled, squeezed her chin, and kissed her.

After sharing a deep kiss, the servant came to knock on their door. "Mr. George, Mr. Townsend and Ms. Moore are here."

Suzy jumped off the table. "You and Mr. Townsend should get to work. I'll be leaving now!"

"Wait up!" George went to the cloakroom, quickly took out a hat and sunscreen, then gently applied the sunscreen on her face and neck. He put the hat on her head and said, "It's hot outside I wouldn't want my baby to get sunburned."

Suzy felt as if her heart was scratched by a cat. It felt somewhat ticklish, She responded with a light hum and stood on her tiptoes to kiss the man's chin again before turning around and walking out

The sun was shining on her porcelain like profile The touch of red on the tips of her ears spread

Winona and Bennett were both in the living room downstairs. When they saw Suzy coming downstairs, Winona got up and greeted her with a smile Behind her, Bennett laughed and said, "Ms Shirley, you look incredibly young You should take good care of her, Winnie."

a

Winona turned her head coyly and said, "Don't worry. I'll make sure to let Ms. Shirley have a good time."

Bennett's eyes fell on Suzy, and he smiled gracefully. "This is Mr. Laine's place. Your words might upstage the host."

George slowly came down the stairs and said with a light smile, "Not at all. I'll have to trouble you, Ms. Moore!"

"You're welcome. You boys talk. We'll get going now!" Winona said with a smile.

Suzy turned around and nodded slightly at George before finally heading out with Winona.

Winona had been here for a day, so she was a little more familiar with the place than Suzy. Afraid that Suzy would get sleepy in the afternoon, Winona took her to the hot springs first.

After resting for an hour, the two went to the horse farm to ride horses. Then, they went to the hotel on the lake for afternoon tea.

Winona was not only gentle to men but also considerate toward Suzy. She was constantly attentive to Suzy's feelings and was thoughtful like a big sister.

When the two were hanging out, she joke and laughed most of the time. Winona had been to many places and read a lot of books, so she spoke eloquently and had a soft expression. At first

glance, one could tell that she was an extremely knowledgeable woman.

In the evening, Hilde came to the manor with his wife.

Standing beside George, Suzy was a little surprised when she saw Hilde's wife. She seemed to be from Cantent as well, and according to Hilde's introduction, his wife was from Cloud City.

Mrs. Merck was nearly 40 years old. She had dark brown hair pulled back into a ponytail and was wearing a light blue suit with a complete set of ruby jewelry around her neck and ears. There was a diamond the size of a pigeon's egg on her finger, and she was snuggled up beside Hilde like a shy woman.

Meanwhile, Hilde looked to be in his 40s. He was a foreigner with blonde hair that gleamed in the sunset. His appearance looked well-maintained. When he laid eyes on Suzy and Winona, there was a glint of surprise in his blue eyes.

Winona stepped forward while holding a carved mahogany flower box in her hand. She smiled softly as she said, "Welcome back to your hometown, Madam."

She had changed into a set of skin-tight evening gown that accentuated her figure. She looked even more exquisite now.
