Chapter 21

“Babe! Where have you been?”

‘BABE? WHAT THE F**K?’ Slade and I both exclaim.

“Babe?” I ask staring at Gabriel and this new girl. She looks familiar yet I can’t grasp in my memory who she is.

I move past them but Gabriel grab my arm.

“Wait Angel, let me explain.” Gabriel says.

“Explain your face!” I pull my arms away from him. And saw Kayden jogging towards me. The training must be end now.

“Hi Angel! The training is already done. Let’s get inside and eat.” Kayden says.

“Okay BABE.” I emphasize the word BABE and k!ss him in the cheek. I hear Gabriel growls at us but I ignore him.

“You must be in a good mood today?” Kayden asks as we went inside the pack house. Gabriel and the girl trail us.

I am about to sit in Luna’s chair with the girl bump at me. We both hold the chair at the same time.

“Babe who is she?” the girl asks.

“Kisha stop calling me Babe. That girl beside you is my mate and the Luna of my pack. She’s Slade Angel, remember?” Gabriel says.

Finally, he introduced me to this girl and I remember her, she’s our pack doctor’s daughter. Kisha. She changed a lot. The timid, shy girl is now bold and what can I say, hmmmmm. Liberated? Judging by her looks and how she dresses up, she’s like the second version of Danna.

“How can she be your Luna when you promised me the position when we were still kids?” Kisha says.

I ark my brows to Gabriel and suddenly, if possible, he become pale.

“Kisha, that was just a joke. You’re always following me around and telling me that you want to be Luna, so I said yes for you to stop.” Gabriel explains.

“Can you let go the chair now or should I stay standing here, waiting for you two to finish your discussions?” I ask impatiently.

She grabs the chair and sit on it. “I’ll sit here and you can sit wherever you want.” She says.

‘Disrespectful. I hate it.’ Slade said.

“Look Kisha, I’m not in the mood right now to be patient. You k!ssed my mate in front of me and now sitting in my position? How disrespectful can you be?” I ask.

“This chair belongs to me for a while now. Even Danna can’t sit here.” She said.

I look at Gabriel who’s still speechless to the situation.

‘Is this girl more important that us?’ I ask Slade.

‘Can we kill her?’ She asks.

‘She’s our pack doctor’s daughter. I don’t want to hurt her child. She’s been so kind to me and my brother.’ I answer back.

An idea comes into my mind when I saw Kayden and my team staring at me like saying ‘Are you going to stand there and be defeated?’

“Okay. If you want to sit here, then fine. I’ll sit somewhere else.” I move to where Kayden is and sit on his lap. The moment I did that, we heard a chair crashing. Gabriel stand up and grab me by the hand. He fixes his chair and pulls me to sit on his lap.

“What the hell?” I shouted.

“You’re only allowed to sit on your mates lap.” He says.

“Allowed? Are freaking kidding me right now?” I’m about to stand up when he put his arm around my waist, stopping me to leave his lap.

“Let’s eat.” Everyone moves quietly, like waiting for the next scene to happen.

Kisha look at us and then stands up.

“You can sit in this chair now. I’ll get myself new chair.” She says.

I arc my brow to her. I smirk and put my arms around Gabriel’s neck.

“You can take that chair. You can ever bring it to your room. I’m comfortable here now.” I look at Gabriel, whom I think enjoying the scene he causes. “Feed me.” I order.

He looks at me with shock yet his eyes are shining. He put food in his plate and started to feed me. Kisha stands up and walk out the dining room. I tap Gabriel’s arm around me.

“Let me go now.” I said.

“Why? Didn’t you say you’re comfortable in here?”

“I don’t have time taking your jokes Gabriel.” He slowly moves his arm around me and move to my Luna’s place and kick the chair away then motion Levi to give me another chair.

“Burn that chair after we finish eating. I don’t like my things being touched by anyone.” I said while looking to Gabriel.

I still feel mad about this. How can Gabriel promise her the Luna position? Even that was a child’s promise to trick a girl, it’s still not a joke. Plus, he let her k!ssed him and he didn’t do anything. That was disrespectful.

I push my plate away and leave the table.

“Angel, you haven’t touched your food. Where are you going?” Gabriel asks.

“Mind your babe Gabriel and don’t dare try to follow me. I kill you. I swear.” I said.

I went to my room and lay on my bed. I look at the ceiling and wonder, how many girls that Gabriel had when I’m not here. It means that it’s not only Danna’s who he slept with.

A knock on my door distracts me from thinking further. A sit on the edge of my bed.

“Come in!” I said.

Michael, Lani, Kayden, Simon, Aden and Lea entered my room with foods in their hands plus a bottle of wine.

“Hey guys, what’s this all about?” I ask.

“Well, since you didn’t finish your food, we decided to bring you something to eat and hang out here.” Michael said.

“But I though you and Gabriel have something to talk about.” I said.

“Yes, we are but he wants to talk to Kisha first before we go and fix some problems in the border.” Michael said.

“Then why are you drinking?” I ask.

“I’m not going to drink. I’ll just hang out with you guys while waiting.” He said.

“So, what are we waiting for? Let’s start drinking and eating.” Kayden said.

We laugh in union.

We stay like that till midnight. Kayden and others bring extra food and bottles of wine while my brother left early when Gabriel called him.

Only Kayden and I left when others went to their room to rest. They still have training tomorrow.

“Are you staying here after we finish training them?” Kayden asked. He looks drunk but I think he still thinks straight.

“I still don’t know what my decision will be. I think it’s up to Gabriel. He keeps messing up.” I said.

“You can’t run from the fact that he is your mate and your soul bonded together.”

“I know but it’s complicated right now.”

“You know I wanted to be your mate, right?” Kayden asks.

“You’re drunk. I think you should rest now.” I said. Changing the subject.

“I just wish it’s you, but I think the Moon Goddess plan something different.” He says.

“I guess so.”

Kayden stands up and k!ss me in the forehead like he used to do. I know Gabriel will feel it but I hope he doesn’t misunderstand it. I feel hurt too when Kisha k!ss him.

I walk Kayden back to his room then went to the kitchen to grab some water to cool me down. My moments with Gabriel came crushing to my mind.

I was about to go back to my room when I saw the hallway going to Gabriel’s room. He is staying on the right wing of the pack house. I am about to go there to see if he’s back when I see Kisha walk out of his room almost n*ked.

I’m stun and fixated to my spot.

‘They didn’t do anything right? Because if they did, we will feel about it.’ I said to Slade.

She remains silent and didn’t comment about it. She’s also doubting her mate like me.

What did she do there?
