Alina left the pack house one hour before midnight. She usually told the driver to stop the car beside the forest. She got down from the car and went inside the deep forest. She headed to the Royal witch Melissa’s house.

She could only see darkness everywhere.

She looked at the house when she came close. She made her way to the house and tried to knock on it.

But she saw the door was not locked. So she went inside while slowly opening the door.

“Melissa?” She called.

Melissa was sitting on the couch wearing a white cloth.

She looked at Alina and said,

“Wear these clothes and let’s go to the forest. It’s almost midnight.”

Alina did not care to look at her and took the cloth which was lying on the couch opposite Melissa.

The white simple long gown was without any design just an ordinary cloth that could cover her whole body except her face and hands.

“Let’s go.”

Melissa nodded at her and they went inside the forest.

Alina saw Melissa had set everything there. Melissa started to spread some white powder and created a circle.

“Alina, come inside,” Melissa told her.

“When did you take it?” Alina asked.

“I have prepared everything before you came here.”

Melissa said and spelled something out at that moment, immediately the candles of the sticks lit up.

She spelled again and the circle of white powder lit up with fire.

Alina was not surprised. She practiced those with Melissa before.

“Today is our last try. Did you remember each and every spell that I have taught you?”

“Yes, I remember every spell.”

“Then close your eyes. You will see what Queen Mother Daisy saw that day. When you began to see at the same time Queen Mother Daisy all felt the same. It will be the time to break the spell on her. Don’t get lost in the illusion. It was just an illusion, not the reality. And please don’t spell wrong because when the other power gets to know what you are trying to do, it will try to stop you.”

Alina nodded and closed her eyes.

Melissa started to spell and Alina followed her.

After a few minutes, Alina felt the heat of the fire getting higher.

She felt her heart beat running slower. She did not open her eyes. Even if she had to burn today, she would not be defeated.

Suddenly, she saw she was not in the forest anymore. She saw the Lycan manor. It was the back side of the palace.

Alina made her way towards a gate when she saw that.

Suddenly she heard noises from there.

She ran to that side. She saw different types of cabins here and there.

It was looking like some rooms for shelter in the war. She did not enter those rooms and headed to the sound that was coming to her ear.

Suddenly she heard a voice and her step stopped.

Her eyes widened. She ran there. She stopped in front of the hallway and saw Crystal talking with King Atlas.

Alina felt her whole body shaking. Crystal was wearing her bridal gown.

“What do you think? Can you get away from your punishment? My mother loved you all her life but what you did was unforgivable.” Crystal said to King Atlas.

Alina saw Atlas was not feeling well. He looked confused.

“What are you saying, Crystal? You are like my child. Your mother was my best friend. Yes, I indeed had feelings for her but I could not reject my mate. You can’t understand that, you and your mother are witches. You don’t have mates so you can’t understand the mate bond.”

Crystal’s eyes glowed green. She did not waste her time and stabbed King Atlas with a wooden steak.

Alina tried to stop but her legs were like jelly. She forgot that all this was an illusion. She wanted to go there but she could not.

She heard a shout. “NO!”

Alina turned around and saw Daisy was standing there. Her face looked frightened. Alina had never seen her like that.

King Atlas struggled and scratched Crystals with his claws which were out all ready for an attack.

Daisy ran to them.

Crystal looked powerful and she mumbled something to him. But Alina could hear her.

“That Omega was just a pawn of my mother. Your son’s mate’s life was totally planned by my mother. I was just using you to get your son. Now your time is over because your son is not under you anymore. I will be your son’s Queen soon, so Goodbye.”

Immediately King Atlas let go of her hand as if he went numb and Crystal stabbed his chest again mercilessly.

“No! Don’t Hurt Him.” Daisy screamed. Her wolf was howling sadly for her mate. She was not a Lycan but an Alpha female. Her wolf was not strong and could feel the pain of her mate. But Lycans were different, they could not feel their mate’s pain, and they could avoid anything they wanted. However, Daisy was feeling it.

When Daisy went to her husband, she could see Crystal’s face.

Alina was shocked that Daisy could not see Crystal. She wanted to tell her that it was not Alina but Crystal who killed her husband.

Alina felt tears rolling down from her eyes.

So she spelled it aloud. She saw the wind coming like a storm and blowing everywhere.

Alina put her hands over her eyes. She did not know what was happening.

Alina felt a force pushing her. She had the power of force, she tried to stop it but she could not.

It was like she was nothing in front of the power against her.

Alina looked at Daisy who was crying.

She was about to spell the last one but saw Crystal standing beside her.

Alina was shocked when she saw Crystal. She thought how was it possible?

Crystal smirked at her and said,

“What do you think? You will try to break my spell and I will not even know?”

Alina’s eyes widened. She did not want to stop spelling because Melissa told her it was her last chance. She could not stop it.

Alina looked away from Crystal and looked at Daisy. She kept spelling but felt a grab on her neck.

She gathered up her all courage and tried to shift.

Crystal laughed at her. “It’s an illusion, Alina. You can not shift here. Did you see how I killed Aaron’s father? I gave him wolfsbane so that he could not shift. But that’s the past.

I can not believe that my best friend learned some witch craft. Nice try bestie.”

Alina tried to push her but she failed to push. She felt her whole body was locked up.

“You will die here today. You can never break my spell. Some random pack’s witch does not have the power to break my spell. You came here to play the game with its master.”

Alice felt breathless. She could not talk or move. She thought she would die here right now.

She tried to call Daisy but Daisy was behaving like whatever was happening in front of her, she could not see a single thing.

“You are right. She can not see anything. She had experienced it in the past, so she will only think that she is dreaming. And after she wake up, she will hate you more.”

Alina shook her head. She got angry at herself that she had to die like this in this traitor’s hand.

Crystal’s grip tightened and Alina was feeling like she would faint anytime.

Suddenly a force came and pushed both of them. Alina felt breath rush into her system when Crystal let go of her neck.

Alina came back to her senses and opened her eyes.

“Alina? Alina??”

She heard Melissa. She saw darkness everywhere. No fire, no tree, she could see nothing anywhere.

She felt faint. Before she faint, she mumbled,

“I failed to break the spell,

I lost my last chance.”
