“WHO IS IAN?”

Alina’s heart skipped a beat.

She moved her phone and saw if it was the same number or not. It was the same number who sent her those messages.

“M-Mate?” Alina replied.

“Who is Ian?” Aaron asked again.

Alina was stunned. She replied,

“He is a junior student in my university.”

“How do you know him?” Aaron asked.

Alina felt nervous. His voice was feeling more deep on the phone.

“I met him in our cafeteria three years ago. He tried to contact me a lot of times so I thought Ian sent me a message again.”

“Why? Why did he try to contact you?”

Alina was baffled. Aaron kept asking her questions. But she did not want to hide anything from him. So she told him the truth.

“He told me that he liked me.”

“Do you like him too?”

“No!” Alina immediately replied in negative.

She continued, “He told me he liked me but I told him I was not interested in him. Then he tried to contact me many times with different numbers but I always blocked his numbers all the time.”

“Does he still disturb you?”

“No. He did not send me any messages for one year. Maybe he found someone who is his type.”

Aaron was silent for a few seconds and asked.

“What is your type?”

Alina was about to lay down but paused.

“My type?”

“Hmm, what is your type?”

Alina blushed. “I-I want a man who trusts me, cares for me and..” She stopped.

“And?” Aaron asked.

“And loves me a lot. That’s it.” Alina replied in a lower voice.

She then laid down on her bed and bit her lower lips.

‘Is he angry with me? Why does he stop talking?’

“M-Mate?” She called him.

“Hmmm.” Aaron hummed.

Alina closed her eyes , his voice was blissful for her ears.

“Wh-When will you come back?” Alina asked.

“After one week.”

“But I will go back in one week.” Alina said sadly.

“Didn’t I tell you that you can not leave my kingdom without my permission?”

Alina remembered he told her a few weeks ago that she could not cross his realm without his permission.

“But my study-“

“You can complete your study here.”

Alina thought about the things he told her today. She wanted to ask him those questions but could not get courage.

“Where are you now?” Alina asked.

“I am in another pack right now.”

“Is everything okay there?”

“Looks like so.”

“What are you doing right now?”

“I am lying on my bed while talking with you. You?”

“Same.” Alina replied.

He asked him a bunch of questions. She was excited that her mate called her.

“How did you get my number?” She asked.

“I have my own ways, Darling.” He replied.

She smiled. He called her Darling again. It sounds so intimate.

His voice was kind of sedvctive when he called her ‘Darling’.

“C-Can I ask you a question?”

“Sure.”

“Were you serious today when you told me that-that you don’t want to reject me?” Alina asked him. Her heart was beating fast to hear his reply.

He was quiet. Alina smiled sadly. She knew it. He would not accept her. So she asked him another question.

“Can I tell Crystal about us? I want to tell her that you are my mate. What will happen in the future, I don’t know. But I don’t want to hide it from my best friend.”

Alina wanted to tell each and everything to Crystal. That he was the one whom she saw in her dreams, he was the one who she met on the first night here.

“Don’t tell her.”

Alina wanted to cry now. This man always did that with her. She knew she could not be his Queen. But he could not even let her tell anyone about them.

He was ashamed of her. She was an weak Omega after all.

“A-Am I too weak that you are ashamed about it?” Alina asked.

If he was in front of her, she could not dare to ask all these things to him.

Alina understood that it was not his fault. He was a Lycan and the Lycan king.

A small Omega like her did not deserve him. He had a realm to rule. An Omega like her could not rule his realm with him.

She did not deserve to stand beside him. Maybe Crystal was perfect for him. She thought Crystal was very powerful. She knew magic. She could rule the realm and helped all of the people of this realm.

“You will be strong.” Aaron replied.

Alina smiled in pain. Her heart was hurt. She was looking like an injured bird who wanted to fly away from all of her pain.

“I want to le-leave, please.” She requested him but Aaron did not reply to her this time.

She did not want to stay here. Why would she stay? He would not accept him. Maybe in a few months he and her best friend would start a new life. She would not want to be a third wheel between them anymore.

She wanted to leave from here and stayed far away from this pack.

Her parents did not want her, her mate did not want her too, her best friend would hate her. She did not want to be here.

Tears rolled down from her eyes. She sobbed.

“Stop crying.” She heard Aaron’s voice again.

She put her hand on her mouth and cried silently.

“If you don’t want me to be angry with you then stop crying.”

Alina shook her head as if he could watch her.

She sobbed and said with her trembling voice, “Please I want to leave. I don’t want to stay here anymore. I will go and won’t come back here again.”

“You can’t go away. I won’t let you go.”

“Why? Why can’t you let me go? Why can’t you let me restart my life? Why are you stopping me?” She asked him.

Then she heard his reply,

“BECAUSE YOU WILL BE MY QUEEN, ALINA.”
