Alina sat out of the king’s chamber. When everyone was leaving they saw her sitting outside.

“I was searching for you. Where were you?” Daisy asked.

“I was talking with the pack doctor.”

“Is Aaron okay?”

Alina nodded. “He will wake up soon.”

“Can you take care of him? You are his mate. I think he needs you.”

Alina knew what Daisy wanted. She wanted them to spend some time together when he woke up.

Alina did not deny it. She just nodded her head.

Everyone left from there.

Alina entered the king’s chamber and turned her head to the man who was lying on the bed.

She closed the door. She went to the bed and sat beside him in the bed.

She stared at him for some time. He did not wear any shirt. There were a few scratches on his cheeks and his upper bare body.

His back was bandaged. There was a big bandage on his stomach too.

Alina remembered that many rogues jumped on him and bit him.

Alina lifted her right hand and cupped his cheek.

“You saved my life so many times. Why? Why did you do that? You know I can’t repay you, then why?”

She knew he was unconscious. But still, she was pouring her heart out in front of the unconscious man.

“Are you feeling any pain? Why did you take it? You should have let me endure the pain. You took mine and now you are lying on the bed.”

Alina stroked his cheek and car3ssed his lips with her wounded thumb. She remembered the peck when he was.

“Can I say something? You said so many things. Can I tell you a few things?”

She got no reply. She smiled at him sadly.

“I really suffered all this time. I told myself that the reason of my pain was you. I told myself that I hate you.

But when I saw the b***d in your body, I forgot everything. Just for that moment, I thought I would forget everything. I could not see your pain. I am very lonely. Even my parents are not my real parents. You are the only one I have. Please get well soon.”

Alina said and stood up.

She went to the bathroom and took a shower. She changed her clothes into a night dress which was arranged in the closet. She did not take any of the clothes that Aaron gave her, with her because she was going to leave everything, his every memory.

But now she thought he was unconscious and she also did not feel well. So she wore silk night wear.

Alina got in the bed and covered herself with a guilt.

She stared at the ceiling when she heard a voice and gasped.

“Darling.”

Alina turned her head and saw Aaron staring at her.

Alina sat up and asked, “Y-You are awake? When did you wake up?”

“The moment you entered the room.”

“‘B-But the pack doc-“

“I told him not to tell you.”

“Why?”

“If I did not tell him not to tell you then you would not stay with me in my room.”

Alina stared at him, his facial expression. She was lost in his beautiful eyes.

“‘So you heard everything?”

“I did.”

“Nice.” Alina said and looked away. She felt embarrassed.

Aaron held her hand and pulled her to him.

Alina fell on his chest. “What are you doing? Did you feel pain again?”

Aaron shook his head. “You said I am your mate. You said I am the only one you have. So will you leave the only person of your life?”

Alina did not reply. Aaron thought she was disagreeing with it.

“It’s okay you can live your life as you wish. I am no one to stop you.”

When he unwrapped his arms, Alina looked at him.

Aaron smiled at her. “If you want to go anywhere, you can go. I can not cage you for life.”

Alina felt Aaron telling her to go out of the pack.

“But one thing, I want to know from you.”

“What?”

“Have you ever loved me?” He asked desperately.

Alina stared at him for a while. She then closed her eyes.

She put down her head on his bare chest.

“I LOVE YOU TOO.” She mumbled.

Aaron felt like a stunner came to his heart like happiness.

He lifted her chin with his thumb and forefinger.

“Say that again.”

“I love you, mate. I loved you, I love you and I will always love you, no matter what you did to me, no matter what will happen in the future.”

Aaron could not wait any more, he grabbed her head and titled it.

He k!ssed her softly. Her lips were soft and sweet. He wanted to dip down on that sweetness.

After the k!ss, she moved a little and panted.

He stared at her face and pecked her lips again as if he was not satisfied with just one k!ss.

“Aaron.”

“Hmm?”

“I have forgiven you.”

Aaron’s hand was car3ssing her cheek but stopped when he heard that.

“Are you saying this because I am sick?”

Alina shook her head. “No, I am saying it truly. I realized I cannot leave you. I cannot live without you. You are the only one I want in my life.” Alina said. She felt like she was in a love maze.

Today he confessed his love to her. He did not ask for forgiveness because he knew what he did was unforgivable. He saved her so many times and wanted a single chance from her. She thought she could give a chance to him.

He was her mate, her only companion in her life, how could she leave him?

Aaron grinned at her. “I am asking you again.”

“What?” Alina asked in confusion.

“Will you be my Queen?”

Alina tried to control her emotions. He was asking her to become his Queen. Would he marry her? Would they live their life happily after so many struggles? Would she get her happiness?

Alina closed her eyes and inhaled.

“Yes, I will be your Queen.”
