Alina was sitting on the bed, thinking about how life had changed everything

She was happy that Rick accepted Selena. Selena had changed a lot in a few days. She saw regret in her eyes.

So Alina hoped that Selena and Rick would be a good royal couple. Both of them were powerful and they were well trained for ruling the pack.

Alina changed her clothes and lay down on the bed. She stared at the ceiling.

She heard a click on the door. She turned her head to the door.

Aaron entered his chamber. He saw Alina lying on his bed. When she saw him, she closed her eyes.

Aaron went to the bathroom. After taking a shower, he came out of the bathroom and saw Alina’s eyes were open.

He got on the bed.

“I have something to talk about.” Alina said.

Aaron turned his head to her. “Speak.”

Alina thought for some moment and shook her head.

“Not now. I will talk about it tomorrow. I hope you will have some time. It’s important.”

Aaron nodded. “‘Sure. I will take out my time for you.”

Hearing that Alina glanced at Aaron. She saw him staring at her.

She did not look away this time. She felt he was coming closer and closer.

When he leaned to her face, she put her hand on his chest.

“My King, what are you doing?” She asked softly.

Aaron grabbed her hand. She tried to let go of her hand from his grip but he tightened his grip.

In a blink of a second, he climbed on her. He was on top of her.

Alina was stunned. “What are you doing?”

“Your friend took away my Queen from me, now who will fulfill her empty position?”

Alina felt hurt in her heart when she heard him calling Selena ‘his Queen’.

“She needs her mate. She told me that she didn’t want to stay here and she fell for her mate. If they are mates then isn’t it good to let them live happily together?”

“Really? Then what about me?”

“You are the King of Lycans. Any woman would like to be your Queen.”

“What about you?”

Alina paused. She smiled at him sadly.

“I am sleepy, my king. Can you please let go of me?”

“What if I say no?”

Alina pushed him but she could not move him a little bit.

Aaron smirked. “Do you think you can move me with your little push?”

“Why are you doing this? You told me I am free now, right? So why are you coming closer to me?” Alina said, looking at the other side.

Aaron leaned to her cheek and k!ssed her cheek.

“Alina.”

She sniffed when she felt his lips on her cheek.

“I am sorry, Darling.”

He nuzzled his nose on her cheek and moved down to her neck.

“I am sorry for not believing you.”

He started to leave butterfly k!sses on her neck to her collarbone.

Alina inhaled deeply and stopped him. “Leave me.”

Aaron shook his head. He wrapped his hands around her body and caged her.

“I cannot let you go, you are my mate.

Alina closed her eyes. Tears streamed out of her eyes. “I don’t want you. Please let me go.”

Alina cried and that stopped Aaron. He looked up at her.

“Why are you crying?”

“Please let me go.” She kept saying the same thing, Aaron wiped her tears as he moved from her body.

“Stop crying.”

Alina sat up and sobbed. Aaron sat up too.

“Don’t cry, Alina.” He said and rubbed her arm.

“I don’t want to live with you.” Alina said as she got down off the bed.

She ran out of the King’s chamber and went inside the room when she was a slave.

Aaron looked at his empty room. He tightened his fists.

He wanted to kill someone, he wanted to kill himself.

Because of his foolishness, she was now running away from him. He behaved so badly with her that now she was afraid of him. He did not want this.

He should not have fallen for someone. He should not feel anything,

He was the one who destroyed his own life by not believing in his mate.

When Alina woke up in the morning, she came out after freshening up. She was thinking about how fate played with her.

It was Crystal who killed king Atlas, it was Crystal’s mother who killed her parents, and it was again Crystal who tried to destroy everything but now Crystal was still living freely.

However, everyone thought it was Alina and made her life hell. When they realized that Alina was not the one, they asked for her forgiveness. As if just asking forgiveness could make everything alright.

How could she forget what she had been feeling in those three months?

She had to suffer a lot. Each and every day was a challenge for her. She had to live in fear of her own mate.

Alina came out of the king’s residence. Daisy looked happy. When Daisy saw her coming, she called Alina.

“How are you now?” Alina asked.

“I am fine, my child. All thanks to you.”

Alina shook her head. “Mention not.”

“Have you seen Silvia?” Daisy asked.

“No, I just came out now.”

“Lucas marked her. She is very shy about it.”

“Lucas marked her?” Alina asked with a smile.

“Yes, I have arranged a small party for them. Lucas and others are like my son too. They are like brothers to Aaron. Celebrating their happiness is our responsibility.”

Alina asked, “Can I help you?”

“No, I am doing nothing, I just told the maids to arrange everything, So don’t worry. And it’s just us, I didn’t invite any guests from outside,” Alina nodded at her.

When it was evening time, Alina took Silvia to the living launch. It was a surprise for Silvia and Lucas.

They were shocked looking at the decorations in the pack house.

“When did you all do this?” Lucas asked.

“Queen mother arranged everything for you two. It’s your mating ceremony.” Theta Cooper said.

Lucas looked at Daisy. “Queen mother, we are not a royal couple to have a mating ceremony.”

You all are my sons. So I like to arrange ceremonies for my sons and my daughter in laws.”

Silvia hugged Daisy and thanked her.

Aaron appreciated what Daisy did for Lucas. All the time his father only taunted his best friend. They did not have a good relationship.

But now Daisy was trying to make everything right.

Gamma George and Delta Darren arranged some drinks on the bar side in the living launch.

Everyone was happy. Alina looked at everyone. She smiled looking at their happiness.

Life would be better if she could be part of this family.

But life tricked her and she fell into its trap.

She had to leave them because unintentionally they also showed their ruthless side to her. Alina would leave them soon. She would talk to Aaron tonight about going back abroad.

She heard someone calling her.

“Alina “

Alina turned to Silvia. “Yes?”

“I am very happy today, Alina. I have never thought I could be a beta’s mate. I always heard that Beta Lucas is very powerful but I didn’t know he is also very caring.’

You are right. He is a very good man. I hope you two will live happily together. I pray for you both.”

“Thanks, Alina.”

After some time Selena asked,

“What about you, Alina?”

“What about me?”

“You are King’s mate. Selena has gone now. So you are the only one with him.”

Alina, understood what Silvia was trying to say. She meant that Alina could be a Queen now since Selena had gone.

Alina shook her head. “I don’t have any plans like that.”

“What do you mean, Alina? You are his mate. He marked you. You are free now. So you can’t stay as his second woman and let another woman snatch him from you again.”

Alina smiled at Silvia. “You care for me, thank you.”

“Yes, I care for you. You are a good woman.”

Alina nodded. She wanted to tell her that she was planning to leave this pack and this whole kingdom.

“Actually Silvia, I have made up my mind.”

“About what Alina? Don’t try to think about any foolishness. You know you have to endure so many pains until now. It’s time for you to live a good life.

“I will leav-“

Alina could not complete it as she heard a sound of a heavy chain from the entrance door.

Everyone looked at that side. When she turned her head to see what was that sound coming from, she gasped.

There was standing the main mastermind of the whole situation. The woman who not only engulfed her childhood but also set up her whole life, the woman who tried to kill her with a blame which she had never committed.

Alina looked at her body which was wrapped in chains, telling that she was a royal sinner.
