Alina was enjoying the refreshing air of the garden. She turned her head to see what Aaron was doing but when she turned she saw there was no one. The garden was empty.

“Mate? Where are you?” She said.

But she didn’t get any reply. She understood that he had left the garden. She smiled sadly and left the garden too.

When she was leaving the king’s residential area, every mate was looking at her again but this time she ignored them and went from that side.

She went to her room and locked the door.

She changed her clothes into a night dress and laid down on her bed.

She looked at the ceiling and said,

“Why did I come here? I shouldn’t have. When will this one month be over? Who knows how much humiliation I have to take in this one month?”

The next day Alina got ready after the breakfast. Daisy told her that she would take her outside, and that they should go around the pack.

Alina went out of her room and came to the living room. Crystal was there waiting for her.

“Where are you two going?” Daisy asked.

“We are going outside. I am taking her to visit the outside area of our pack house.” Crystal replied.

Daisy nodded at her and looked at Alina. “Come back to the pack house before lunch. I saw how little you eat at the breakfast.”

Alina was stunned when she heard that. Did she care for her? Even her mother didn’t tell her that.

“Yes, Aunt Daisy.” Alina said and smiled at her.

Daisy frowned at them. ‘Why does Aunt Daisy always talk softly with Alina but talk rudely with me? I came here every three months, but she had never told me anything like this. She even checked on how much Alina ate. How strange! She has no work except checking who is eating and who is not.’ Crystal thought and sighed.

“Let’s go, Alina.” Crystal said and started to walk.

Alina nodded and followed Crystal behind.

They went to the parking area where all the cars park. It was not a parking lot like abroad, they parked their car in an open field. There were all the cars parked there.

“So many expensive cars!” Alina said.

“Yes, My king is very rich. Don’t worry Alina, When I will be his Queen, I will gift you one of the most expensive cars.” Crystal said and laughed.

Alina was silent. How could she forget that her best friend was in love with the king?

‘I don’t know if she will be angry with me or break the friendship with me because of this. I wanted to tell her the truth last night. But my mate told me not to tell anyone about anything. How can I disobey his order?’

Alina was upset again.

“Alina, let’s go to the battlefield.” Crystal said and pulled her toward another way.

“Battlefield?”

“Yes, battlefield. We have a huge battlefield out of our training hall. I came here to train myself.”

“But you only came here for one week every time.”

“Yes, but whenever I came in the pack, I came here for training.”

Alina turned to her. “But you are not a werewolf, so what training are you talking about?”

“No, I am not talking about the training of the wolves to fight. Training means physical. Here everyone came to train physically and in their wolf forms both.”

“I see.” Alina said.

Then they went to the battlefield. When they were going closer to the field, they saw someone talking with another one.

But Alina understood that one of them was her mate. She could feel his smell.

When they went closer. They saw Aaron was talking with a young man who was in his early twenties.

The man was trying to convince Aaron about something. But he shook his head.

His eyes were red. Alina was shocked when she saw the red eyes that she saw in her dreams.

She was watching everything carefully. They stood in a corner so Aaron would not see them, Alina thought that.

Aaron looked furious at the man’s words. He immediately grabbed his throat. Alina and Crystal were frightened and afraid of what would happen later.

They saw Aaron’s claw get out and it pierced the man’s throat.

Alina felt a thud in her heart. She asked Crystal with her shaken voice, “I-Is he a v-vampire? How can he get his claws out?? How??”

Crystal gulped and replied, “H-He is not a vampire but he is more powerful than them. Because he is a Lycan. He is not a normal wolf. He can get his claws out without shifting.”

Alina was looking at what was happening but suddenly she saw Aaron looking her way. She could see that he was looking at her.

Alina got scared of death. He was more dangerous than in her dreams.

She then saw Aaron looked away from her and pulled out his claws from the man’s throat. The man cried loudly. He was an Alpha, so he could not take it and shift in front of the Lycan king.

Before the Alpha could do something Aaron grabbed his neck and pinned the wolf to the ground.

Alina could not hear him but she could see what was happening.

Aaron put his claws in the wolf’s chest and pierced it inside. Then he pulled out the heart of the wolf from his chest.

Alina was crying in fear. She was trembling, her whole body was trembling in fear.

The man was just young. Alina didn’t know what the man did wrong but she could not stand for the brutal death whether he was an enemy.

She didn’t believe her mate was this merciless. How could she think he was not an aggressive man? He was crazy. How did he kill a man like that? Pulled out someone’s heart when they were alive???

She thought to herself,

‘HOW CAN YOU BE SO RUTHLESS, MATE?’
