“SHE IS THE KING’S SLAVE.”

Alina turned around and saw a woman say that. Crystal was just standing beside the woman.

Alina looked down at her kerchief and tried to take it but when she bent down she saw a black heel pressed on her kerchief.

She looked up at the woman and saw Selena.

Alina stood up straight. She did not take the kerchief.

“What are you doing here?” Selena asked angrily.

Alina turned to Crystal and then looked back at Selena.

“Crystal called me here.” Alina replied.

Selene frowned and looked behind Crystal. “Is she telling the truth? Did you call her here?” Selena asked Crystal like a Luna.

Alina thought she had the qualities to become a Luna.

Crystal nodded. “Yeah. I told her to come here. But I didn’t call her. She is the one who wanted to meet me. So I just said to come and meet me. That’s it.” Crystal replied and smiled at Selena like a sweet woman.

Selena did not understand Crystal’s smile. She thought today Crystal was behaving too sweet with her. Otherwise, Daisy had already told her that Crystal was the main thorn in her way.

“You should not ask her to come here.” Selena said to Crystal.

She looked at Alina and advised her,

“Just go back to your room. This place is for noble ladies. You are not one of them.”

Alina did not mind Selena’s words because she had heard more bitter words than that before.

Alina turned to Crystal and said,

“I want to talk to you.”

Everyone came and gathered around them as if some drama was happening.

They started whispering. “She is the king’s slave?”

“Yes, can’t you see her slavery tag?”

Another whisper came to Alina’s ear.

“Look how arrogant she is! She is talking with her head high. Doesn’t she know it is not a respectful but an infamous tag?”

“Yeah, I heard the silver slavery neck lock had been stopped by King Atlas when he became the king. He did not take any slaves and stopped slavery. But King Aaron accepted a slave like her? Why?”

Alina clenched her dress. She did not come here to hear all of this.

That was she came here with a kerchief but that could not hide her neck lock.

However, her mark was totally hidden by the neck lock. That was they were not aware of the new matter. She was not only a slave but King Aaron’s mate.

Selena did not want anyone to know about this mating matter so she tried to send Alina. But Alina walked to the Crystal.

“I want to talk to you.”

Crystal raised an eyebrow. “Why would I talk to you? Can’t you see I am with my friends right now?”

Alina looked beside her and saw a woman who looked dignified, she was looking like a well known family’s daughter.

Alina wanted to laugh that Crystal made new friends after hearing about Alina’s death. Crystal found some pawn who could help her get the throne.

One thing Alina could not understand was how Crystal was so calm toward Selena. Because all Crystal wanted was the position of the Queen then why did not fight for the position with Selena?

Alina closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She knew she could not talk to Crystal tomorrow. She would not be at home. Because most of the time Crystal stayed out of the pack house. And King Aaron ordered Alina not to leave her residence.

She came here just to talk with Crystal, nothing else.

A woman came to Alina and said,

“What do you think about us? Do you think you came to a club party? How can you just come here? Do you have any shame?”

Alina looked at the woman.

“Listen, I didn’t come here to disturb any of you. So please enjoy the party and ignore me.”

But the woman did not like her answer.

” How dare you answer me back!”

Another woman supported the woman. “Yes, you are right. How dare she! A woman like her is a shame. Because of this type of woman we noble ladies could not live happily with our husbands. These women tries to seduce our men all the time. They should get a good beat by us.”

The crowd around Alina shouted. “Yes Yes, you are right.”

Alina tightened her jaw. She was left helpless. She was getting the humiliation for what she had not committed.

She glared at Crystal. It was all because of her.

Crystal smirked at Alina. No one noticed that except Selena. But she could not say anything or did not do anything to ease the tension.

It was good that all the noble ladies were supporting her, not Alina. So if one day they got to that Aaron marked Alina, it would not be a problem for Selena.

Alina was silent. Crystal cleared her throat.

“Stop everyone.”

Everyone went silent. Crystal was a royal witch. So she had a good impression of all of them. If Selena was not a Lycan then they would prefer Crystal as their Queen to Selena. Moreover, inside their hearts, every unmarried woman wanted to become King Aaron’s wife.

“Don’t spoil your party, everyone. If she is a shameless woman then we can not help it. We are not like her, right? Just ignore her.” Crystal said.

But the woman this time did not listen to her.

“No, we want to teach her a lesson today.” Saying that a woman came with a glass of wine and tried to spill it on Alina but Alina grabbed her hand to stop her. All the drink fell on the woman’s white dress.

The woman got angry. She looked at her dress and then at Alina. She pushed Alina’s hand hard and Alina backward a few steps.

Then the woman headed to Alina for hitting her but before she could reach everyone heard a loud and deep voice.

“WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?”
