"Why did you abandon me?"

"Why were you gone for so many years?"

"What happened to you?"

"Do you have any idea how I lived 20 years of my life without you in it?"

"The curse mark at the back of my shoulder; why was I the only wolf who had it, and what did it mean?"

So many more questions traveled in my mind, and I couldn’t ask her any of them. I sniffled and cleaned my tears as I walked closer to her,

"Do you need some time?" I heard Dexter’s voice and as I cocked my head to face him, I nodded, "Thank you." I uttered and watched as he walked out leaving just me and my mother alone in the room.

About an hour later, I stepped out of the ward, but deep down, I still felt so empty. I was grateful that I finally found her, but I had no idea why a part of me was still very much incomplete. "You okay?" I heard Dexter’s voice and instantly snapped out of my thoughts. "I am. I just hope she will be able to recognize me one day. I have so many questions to ask and it hurts so much not to be able to ask any of them." I muttered but Dexter came closer to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into a hug,

"Give her as much time as she needs, okay." He uttered and I nodded again. We both headed back to the car and because Dexter had things to do, he had to drop me off at the flower shop first.

After everything that had happened, this was also my happy place. Clara hadn’t been herself since after that day and I was out of ideas on how to make her feel better. I hadn’t even heard anything about the glass from Daniel

As soon as I opened up the store, I headed straight for some ’lily of the valley’ I had kept on the table yesterday and picked them up. As I inhaled the flowers, I let out a small smile. They were indeed so beautiful and comforting.

I suddenly heard a loud bang from the glasses as a part of it instantly shattered, making me jerk in fright. As my eyes caught hold of the large rock that had been thrown from nowhere, I rose to my feet instantly.

I tried to grab my bag from the table so I could get my phone and call Dexter, but with a full level of speed, someone dashed into the store and grabbed me.

The crazy man threw me away and I landed on my back, shattering a small vase of daisies. I let out a loud painful cry.

Another painful wince escaped my mouth as I stared at the cuts on my arms caused by the shattered pieces of ceramics from the vase,

As I lay down on the floor, I spotted the man who had thrown me walking towards me and fear instantly gripped me,

A tear rolled down my eyes as I struggled to crawl away. I wasn’t only worried about myself, but I was worried about the baby inside of me. As I shut my eyes in fright, I suddenly heard a deep and commanding voice,

"Get the hell away from her you freaking bastard!"

Who the hell was he? Who the hell was the freaking handsome tall man standing by the door side.
