Chapter 367 Will

The test report slipped out of Angelina's hand and fell to the ground.

"I'm sorry," Erin said absent-mindedly.

Angelina quickly bent down to retrieve the test paper, afraid of being recognized.

The nurse glanced at the paper and happened to see the names of Charles and Bobby.

Her eyes squinted at the paper.

"Paternity test?" She seemed to be talking to herself and was not addressing Angelina with her question. Angelina looked at her with suspicious eyes before picking up the paternity test report and leaving in a hurry. 'Why wasn't the paternity test taken by Charles or Nancy? Who was that woman?' the nurse wondered.

She whipped out her phone to take a picture of Angelina as she was leaving.

What Angelina was after were the results of the test. Being recognized was not a big concern for her.

She volunteered to go to the hospital, as Frederic waited for the results at home.

Nancy knew that Angelina was spiteful towards her, but even she didn't expect Angelina to do such an evil thing.

Angelina handed over the paternity test report to Frederic. "Father, you'd better prepare yourself. The girl is not... Charles'!" she declared.

Frederic was rendered speechless.

He couldn't accept such a result!

Hardy took the paper from Angelina to check the results for himself. "Are you sure the result is right?"

"Of course it is!" Angelina said confidently.

"Are you trying to say that Charles has been lying to me this whole time?" Frederic questioned in a weak voice.

"Father, you weren't the only one he lied to. He lied to all of us! He was bewitched by Nancy! Please don't be angry with him!" she pleaded. Angelina had predicted that it would be hard for Frederic to accept the results.

However, she wasn't prepared by how hurt he was with the results. It was a big blow for Frederic.

How could Frederic not be angry? It had been revealed that Charles was lying to him!

This was hard for anyone to accept.

"Charles is really something!" Frederic scoffed. "Hardly, contact our lawyer for me right now!"

"Why are you looking for our lawyer, Dad?" Angelina and Hardy exchanged glances with one another.

"Stop asking questions, and get the lawyer!" Frederic growled.

"Yes, Dad. I'll look for him now." Hardy didn't dare refuse him when he was like this. He immediately called for the lawyer.

When the lawyer arrived, Frederic entered the bedroom with him to discuss matters in private.

"What does Father want the lawyer for?" Angelina asked in a worried voice.

Hardly shook his head in reply. "I don't know."

"Does he want to change the will?" she asked again.

"No! Would he do that?" Hardly questioned.

Erin kept thinking about the paternity test. The more she thought about it, the more suspicious she became. She called Nancy to speak with her about it.

Nancy answered the phone in a hurry, afraid that there was an emergency with a patient. "What's wrong?"

"Director Nancy, I saw someone get the paternity test report of Mr. Fu, Bobby and Nadia!" Erin reported to her.

Relieved that there was no emergency, Nancy chuckled and replied, "Yes, I know. Something came up at home and I didn't have the time to take it. Don't worry about it."

"But Director Nancy, the result said that Charles and Nadia weren't father and daughter, but Bobby is Charles ..." Erin explained. "Wait a second. I'll send it to you." She hurriedly sent the photos she had taken earlier, convinced that Nancy should know about this immediately.

Nancy gasped as she heard the results.

Wasn't Nadia his biological daughter?

How was this possible?

Nancy looked at the photos sent to her and saw that it was Angelina who had taken the results.

"I see!" Nancy said in a low voice.

She knew immediately that this was one of Angelina's schemes to prevent her from marrying Charles.

Angelina was vicious!

Nancy called Charles after seeing the photos.

When she was calling, Charles was still at the police station. Edward had given him bad news after Charles saw him moments ago.

Edward asked, "Have you seen the news?"

"Are you here to tell me the news of my marriage to Nancy disappeared again?" Charles sneered.

"No, it's about your grandfather. I saw that he changed his will. Aren't you concerned this will have an impact on your position at the TS Group?" Edward asked with concern. Charles was bewildered by the news. His grandfather changed his will?

Why wasn't he informed about it?

"What? You didn't know?" Charles didn't reply to his question. Edward guessed from the look on his face that he didn't know about it.

"I didn't hear anything about it," Charles finally replied. Perplexed by the news, Charles quickly searched his phone for news and confirmed that Frederic had changed his will.

His brows furrowed in frustration as he read.

Edward paused before continuing, "If your grandfather decides to transfer his shares, it will have an impact on your future. You have to do something about this. I'm guessing it has something to do with my kidnapping. You'd better prepare yourself!"

"I still have a lot to ask you, but it will have to wait another time," Charles replied, and patted Edward on the shoulder before turning to leave.

As he was leaving, Charles suddenly received a call from Nancy.

After hearing that Nadia was not his daughter, he immediately knew that something bad had happened.

"How could Nadia not be my daughter? What the hell did you do, Nancy? Did you change the results?" he roared at her. He couldn't forgive her if she meddled with the results.

Once the media found out that Nadia was not his child, it would be chaos!

Charles, Nancy, the children, and the entire TS Group would be put in a precarious position.

"It wasn't me! Your mother had something to do with this," Nancy protested in a weak voice.

"My mother? Well, that's great!" he replied sarcastically. After Charles ended the call, he left in a hurry without saying goodbye to Edward.

"I guess rich families also have their fair share of trouble!" Edward smiled bitterly and shrugged to himself.

"Let's go, Mr. Wu. I'll drive you back home," Hiram offered.

Angelina was like an ant on a hot pot. She knew she had made an enormous mistake.

Pacing back and forth on the porch, she anxiously waited for Charles to arrive.

"Charles..." she called to him when he arrived. Angelina was a proud woman who would not admit to her wrongdoings.

"Did you do something to the paternity test?" Charles questioned her coldly.

"I did this for your own good. Nancy's not fit for you..." As she stared at Charles' enraged face, she began to feel afraid.

"Do you hate even your own grandchildren?" he shot back. Charles never expected for Angelina to attack his children to get to Nancy.

At this moment, he was as furious as a feral beast!

"I don't hate the children, but Nadia is Nancy's child. I..." Angelina struggled to find the right words to explain, too shocked to speak coherently. Charles scoffed at her explanation and stomped upstairs.

He had to clear things with his grandfather.

He couldn't let him misunderstand!

His grandfather would probably be thinking that he lied to secure his position and power over the TS Group.

Out of anger and disappointment, his grandfather had changed his will.

His mother was really stupid!

How could she do something like this?
