Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love -
Chapter 331 Be Obedient
"Nancy, what are you afraid of? I'm all yours," Charles said in a gentle voice.
"I'm not afraid, you're so handsome. I'm just in a hurry. Look at the time! Get up quickly, or we'll all be late!" Nancy raised her hand to touch his face and tried to give him a flattering smile. Every time she looked at Charles' handsome face, Nancy always felt reluctant to leave.
For the time being, however, she had to get going..
Or maybe it was because she was afraid of his brutality.
"Are you sure you're not afraid?" he asked her again.
She took a deep breath and shook her head, reassuring him.
Charles took Nancy's hand and dragged it down his body...
When her fingers touched his skin, Nancy froze and took a deep breath to calm herself.
Charles let go of her hand and smiled helplessly at her. "Forget it. I'll let you go. When I have the time, I'll buy you a book and let you study hard."
'What? Study hard?
Study...having sex?
Charles is so annoying!' she thought.
It didn't matter. Nancy was relieved that she was able to escape him this morning.
Charles entered the bathroom to get ready.
Nancy exhaled softly and sneaked out of the bedroom.
Charles took his time in the bathroom that morning and finally came out when Nancy finished cooking. Walking out of the bathroom, he had a teasing smile plastered on his face.
"Hurry up and eat. This afternoon, you have to go and pick up the children," Nancy instructed as she set the table.
"Hiram will be picking them up instead. Grandpa said he wanted to see them today. I'll ask Hiram to drop them off at the old mansion," he continued, drying his hair with a towel. "That's fine," Nancy replied. Charles knew she wouldn't pass up the opportunity to have an afternoon to herself.
"Since the children won't be home till later, we have some free time to ourselves..." Charles purred, sticking his tongue out at her.
Nancy choked on a mouthful of milk.
Men were always like that, weren't they?
Patting her gently on the back, he said, "Don't worry. Drink slowly. You'll scare the children." "Children, come out and have breakfast!" he called in the direction of the children's bedroom. "Good morning, Daddy!" the children greeted in unison.
Their voices were adorable.
It would melt anyone's heart.
Rushing to finish her breakfast, Nancy glanced at the time and said in a hurry, "Kids, I'll ask Daddy to drive you to the kindergarten later. Mommy has to go to work now. Uncle Hiram will pick you up this afternoon. Be good, okay?"
"Okay, Mommy..." The two children answered tiredly, rubbing their eyes as they walked out of their room.
Nancy stood up to leave.
"Drive carefully," Charles reminded her.
"Don't worry, I'm a good driver," she reassured him.
He heard the car start, and turned to see Nancy drive away.
Charles' eyelids twitched, and he suddenly had a bad feeling. He frowned, feeling uneasy.
As per usual, Nancy drove herself to the hospital.
It was especially cold today, so she put on a shawl.
Turning the radio on, Nancy hummed to herself.
All of a sudden, a black car sped towards her. Swerving away from the car, Nancy turned the wheel in a hurry and crashed against a tree.
Her initial reaction was to check the damage on the car. It was worth ten million! She had no idea how she would pay for the repairs.
Storming out of the car, she shouted at the people in the car behind her, "What are you doing? You almost hit my car!"
The car door burst open, and a few masked men suddenly jumped out.
They ran straight for her.
Nancy turned to run away, but someone hit her head and knocked her unconscious.
At that moment, she felt as if she was the most unlucky person on the planet.
This time, she might not be able to escape.
After a long while, Nancy finally woke up. Her head was throbbing. She was tired, hungry, and frightened. Where had the kidnappers taken her? "Hmmm..." Nancy groaned.
"Be quiet Nancy! No one will save you here!" someone shouted at her. The men opened the door and pulled her out of the car. One of them pushed her forward roughly. Nancy was baffled. How did they know her name?
Did they know her?
Fannie? Jill?
Nancy tried to guess who was behind the kidnapping.
She suddenly heard the sound of faint footsteps coming towards her.
An old woman's trembling voice spoke. "Is she the woman we were looking for?"
"It's her. Is the money ready?" one of the men asked.
"Relax, it's all here. I have thirty thousand in total." The old woman pinched Nancy's face and said, "She feels tender and watery. Come here, John. Your wife is here!" What was she talking about? Wife? Oh my God! She was...
Nancy struggled to free herself.
"Mother, this woman looks like she has a bad temper," a mysterious man protested, his rough voice coming from far away.
"Ha! Then teach her a lesson!" the men jeered, taking their money and turning to leave.
Nancy tried to run away but quickly got caught.
Terrified, she started to sob. She had been sold!
"The next time you try to run away, I'll break your legs!"
The man kicked her knee hard.
Nancy inhaled sharply, her face crumpled in pain. If her legs were broken, she wouldn't be able to run away when the chance came. Nancy stopped resisting.
Edward had called Nancy several times today, all of his calls going unanswered.
He wanted to invite Nancy to go shopping for a pet dog, but no matter how many times he called, she never picked up his calls.
At first, he didn't think much of it, assuming she was in the operation room.
As the day went on, he began to get anxious. It was getting dark and he still hadn't heard from her. Turning on the TV to watch the news, he saw news of the traffic police dealing with an accident. He immediately recognized that it was Nancy's car on TV.
After rushing over to the scene of the accident, he confirmed that it was Nancy's car. They informed him that the owner of the car hadn't been found yet.
Alarmed by the information, Edward drove to the TS Group.
Charles was having a meeting when Edward arrived. Edward was stopped by his secretary from entering. In a fit, he pushed Charles' secretary aside and stormed into the president's meeting room. Charles was surprised to see Edward since he had always seen him as his rival. "What-"
Before Charles could finish, Edward came and grabbed him by the collar. In front of the senior executives, Edward suddenly punched Charles in the face.
"What is going on?" Charles shouted furiously. The senior executives had all gathered around the two and tried to break them apart.
It was the first time they had seen someone dare to lay a finger on Charles. Moreover, it was in the CEO's meeting room, in front of all the executives. How could Charles allow for this? Edward had no reason to hit him. How could he not fight back?
He punched Edward back in retaliation.
