Return Of The Prodigy
Return of the Prodigy Chapter 24

Klosterhaus Kindergarten was the top private school in Lisle.

Matilda's son, Bobby, attended it here as well.

Katie had also wanted Annie to study here, as she also wanted to provide the best education for her daughter. Unfortunately, with her salary, she couldn't afford the tuition.

At this moment, seeing that Adam had actually chosen this place for her daughter to transfer to, Katie was momentarily shocked and turned to leave.

"Let's change to another school, this place is too expensive."

Adam shook his head and said, "Don't worry about the money, I have plenty of it. Since we're here, let's go in and take a look first."

"But..." Katie still hesitated.

"Don't worry, trust me."

Adam pulled Katie and their daughter into the admissions office.

In the office, two women were chatting. One was dressed professionally with a nameplate hanging on her chest, Pamela Smith. The other was dressed luxuriously, exuding an air of wealth, and spoke arrogantly, showing a sense of superiority.

In the office, two women were chatting. One wore a formal dress with a lanyard hanging in front of her chest that read "Smith". The other was dressed elegantly, her plump body wrapped in designer wear. Every word she spoke was laced with arrogance and vanity.

"If you ask me, our kindergarten fee is way too low! Instead of 20 thousand dollars per year, it should be at least 200 thousand dollars! That way, those beggars won't be able to scrape the money together and send their kids here.

"Who can't see through their petty schemes? It's pretty clear that they want their kids to attend this kindergarten to curry favor with rich people like us! We're their ticket to greatness. What do you think, Pamela?"

Pamela Smith smiled apologetically and said, "Miss Eva, what you said makes sense."

"Hmph, I'll make sure to tell my brother to mention this matter at the next board meeting.

Those wretches must be driven out. I don't want them to sully my child's eyes with their filthy presence."

"Oh!!!" Suddenly, Eva screamed, pointing at Adam's family who had just entered.

"Where did this beggar come from? How did he run here to ask for money? What if my son sees him later? Quickly, get out."

"Oh, the air is so stale."

Eva opened her bag, took out a bottle of perfume, and sprayed it forward vigorously.

"Ow!"

Annie was curiously looking around with wide-open eyes when suddenly her face was sprayed. She quickly closed her eyes and rubbed them, saying, "Mommy, my eyes are itchy..." "Annie!" Katie put her purse down and took out a bottle of water, helping Annie clean her eyes.

"Are you okay? Maybe we should go to the hospital," asked Adam worriedly.

Katie shook her head and said, "Let's see if the water helps first. Annie, do you feel better?"

Annie raised her little hand and rubbed her eyes a few more times, shaking her head, "Mommy, it doesn't hurt anymore."

Although she said so, Annie couldn't help but rub her eyes. In just a few seconds, her eyes were already red.

"Come here, darling. Mommy will help you wash again."

Adam was anxious but couldn't intervene. He turned his head and glanced coldly at Eva, but he didn't plan to pursue this matter further. After all, it seemed more like an accident.

"Hello! Excuse me. We would like to enroll our daughter in this kindergarten. Here are all the papers you might need." Adam handed the documents to Pamela, the teacher.

Before Pamela could speak, Eva suddenly snatched the documents and splashed them back, scolding, "Stop daydreaming. Beggars like you actually want to enroll their child in our kindergarten?"

"Has your daughter ever attended school? Just by looking at you,it's pretty clear you're straight outta the countryside. How on earth did you guys manage to sneak into our school? Isn't this lowering the standards of our school?" "Come on, beat it! Don't be hanging around here, this place is for the elite. Not for folks like you!"

Katie, getting all fired up, face turning red, raised her head and shot back, "Why are you speaking so rudely? You're not even a school staff. What makes you think you can tell us we can't be here?"

Eva Crawford chuckled disdainfully, "Oh, getting angry now? Is that considered rude to you? I have even more offensive things to say, want to hear them?"

"A bunch of country bumpkins pretending to be wealthy. Have you no self-awareness?"

"Do you know what our students wear here? Do you know what cars our parents drive? Do you think dressing in knock-offs can make you look wealthy?"

"I bet you can't even gather a tuition fee of two hundred thousand in a year. Even if you sell everything, borrow from all your relatives, it won't be enough, right?"

"I've seen plenty of people like you, no success of your own, so you make your children curry favor with wealthy people like us. If you want money so badly, why don't you sell yourself? Train your daughter from a young age, who knows..." Boom! Adam stepped forward, grabbing Eva by the collar and slapped her face.

Slap, slap, slap.

A series of resounding slaps, Eva immediately spat out blood, and her teeth shattered.

Adam angrily said, "You hurt my daughter's eyes and instead of apologizing, you go on to insult my wife. Is your mouth filled with shit?"

"You have money? You have status? Fine, use them. Call whatever supporter you have. I really want to see what they can do!
