Rejected, but not Broken
Chapter 68

Monty’s POV

That little girl has got some f*****g nerve. She is going to come into my pack and talk sh!t to me? Who the hell does she think that she is? I am fuming because I needed to get another dose into Liz’s IV to keep her wolf down longer.

I had 5mL of wolfbane in my syringe and it was ready to go, and I walk in there with it in my hand when I go into the room, and it was like a f*****g party in there. Liz is out, in a coma, and yet she has visitors all over her room.

That Gabi has grown up and looks even better than she did when she turned 18 back in March. I will say that I hadn’t noticed how nice she looked lately, as I hadn’t noticed her until Liz brought her to me after Jack attempted to assault her.

I could see why he would want her, she has blossomed into a beautiful young woman, and I wouldn’t mind sleeping with her myself, she looks just like her mother, but with her father’s hair and eye color.

Liz hasn’t slept with me since she felt me sleeping with my Omega mate when Derek was still a baby. She was pissed that I had my mate but still needed her. Everyone knows that Omegas can’t run a pack, they need someone stronger to tell them what to do and when to do it.

Plus, I had to kill my Omega mate because after she took Gabi from Crimson Shadow, she refused to give the baby to me until I made her Luna. I did promise to make her Luna, but anyone with a brain would have known that I wouldn’t do that.

If I had been willing to do that, why would I have to go and kill off Liz’s warrior mate to get her? She was a quality Luna, intelligent, loving, and kind. She cared about this pack, and she has a lot of money.

Her parents have even more money. I had made some bad investments that lost me money, and I also funneled money out of the pack account for myself, because as soon as Derek takes over, that will be his problem. Liz told me that she wouldn’t bail me out again, but I know that she would bail Derek out of the bind I put him in.

I have already set it up a reoccurring withdrawal from the pack account, so it will help keep me funded for the next little bit. He hasn’t even seen it yet to realize that it is a problem.

I didn’t really train him, and it will be a while before he even notices it as being a problem, if he ever does notice it. Because it will take an experienced Alpha to see the problem, and Derek won’t allow another Alpha to check it, I can guarantee that Piper won’t be the one to find it.

I guess I will have to come back tomorrow after Justin gets here. I watched over Liz earlier today for Justin to go grab some food for lunch.

While I was there, I loaded up a total of 5mL of Wolfsbane into the top of her IV bag, so it wouldn’t spring a leak and let them know the bag had been tampered with. I had a few more that I had bought so I could keep her wolf suppressed and prevent her from healing.

I was going to let it go a couple of days and then sneak in here after the Luna ceremony as we would now have another Luna in place, and Derek should get all of Liz’s money as her dependent.

I know she is not going to leave me any, we have hated each other for years. I know why her heart rate increased when she heard me, she knew what I was there for and got scared.

But Gabi can’t be with her forever. As a matter of fact, I will be sure to speak to Jack about Gabi’s return. I heard he was pissed when his mate came and rejected him today, so he probably won’t mind giving Gabi some much-needed payback for that, and he can just let it escalate from there.

He needs to get it done quickly, as I know Derek has still got a soft spot for her, and he will be furious when he finds out, but it will be too late by then.

I am being relieved at the end of this week, so that will fall on Derek’s shoulders as well if Wyatt and Everly Wilson have a problem with it. From what I heard she refused to speak with them when Heath and Von took her there to be introduced.

That girl is a firecracker and I bet she is one in bed as well. I am heading back to the packhouse and trying to figure out who I will pick to grace my bed tonight as Gabi has got me worked up in the very worst way.

When I heard my son calling after me and running to catch up. I stop walking and wait for him until he gets near, and then he falls into step with me, as we continue on to the packhouse.

“What did you need me for Derek? I asked him. “Dad, you need to be more careful in how you speak to Gabi. What you said in there sounded s***l to me and to her mate” Derek tells me.

I am surprised, I didn’t know that she was mated, I thought Derek was her mate, and I knew she accepted his rejection, but this information is new to me, and maybe I will not speak to Jack, because I don’t want it getting back to involve me in anything that happens.

“When did she meet her mate son? The last I heard she had come here and accepted your rejection, but I didn’t know she found a second chance mate. Who is he?”

I asked Derek. “Tanner Wright, from the B***d Rose pack. She met him the next weekend at her sister’s birthday party. Dad, he was in the room with us, laying on the couch at first, he let her handle it until your comment. That was when he got up and half phased.

I apologized to them both, but you have got to watch what you say, or we could be in a war, and we are already fighting the rogues anyway.

There would be no way we could win against them and B***d Rose, and Ever Green would get in it too. Because uncle Heath thinks of Gabi as his & aunt Von’s child. They are already upset with mom being hurt, so let’s be nice when Heath comes to visit and check on mom tomorrow, OK, dad?” Derek said to me. I nod as I think.

Heath is coming tomorrow to check on Liz, I need to make sure that Liz doesn’t wake up anymore. I have 5 more of these prefilled 5mL needles. I will make sure I let Justin go get his breakfast in the morning, so I can put two of them in the next IV. I am not staying for very long at all in her room, and I am her husband, no one will suspect me hurting her.

I will see about pinning it on Gabi too, the little smart-as*s deserves it. I will see about using gloves to inject wolfsbane, and leave the needle behind so Gabi, or whoever is there, can pick them up, and then their fingerprints will be on the syringe.

“I am sorry it sounded like that son, I will indeed be more careful with my words and how they could be perceived. I know that Gabi is a good girl, and never caused any trouble in the pack.

I will be sure to apologize to her as well tomorrow on the training fields. I do want to see all of the trainers in action, and maybe even I can learn some new techniques as well”I told Derek, but I am still just focused on Gabi.

I guess I will see if that Melanie girl that works in the kitchen is available for me for tonight. I can give her a pass on having to get up early to make breakfast, as she will still be in my room with me.

I mindlinked Melanie, and she finally agrees to come to my room on the Alpha floor, I could tell she didn’t really want to come. I am still in great physical shape, and still attractive.

I realize that she is 18, but she approached me the first time, and now she seems to be dragging her feet about it. I mindlinked Helen, the new lady in charge of the kitchen, that Melanie will not be able to help her with breakfast. She can help with lunch instead when she comes down from my room.

I will let Melanie know when she goes to leave my room. Melanie has dark hair and blue eyes like Gabi, and I am already pretty much ready to go, so this should be easy as far as I am concerned. I went up to the Alpha floor with Derek and we separate at our rooms.

I see Melanie is already there at my door and doesn’t look enthusiastic about being here, but she will get into the groove of it. I let her in and lock the door and motion towards my bathroom.

We don’t pay Omegas here at the pack, and they have to work here for what they need. Their soap is basic and not great, it gets you clean but there is not a nice scent to it, so I want her to wash with me so she will smell good, with my soaps, and products.

I start the shower and then I start to strip down, she knows the deal and takes her clothes off too. I believe that she wanted Derek, but he has been off his game since Gabi rejected him. He is weak, like his mother, he should be able to push past this, but he is still pouting.

Women are replaceable, he needs to stop being childish and realize that they are only good for one thing. I pull her into the shower with me and in less than a minute she is happy again and glad to be here. She traces my 6 pack with her fingertip, and I close my eyes and imagine it is Gabi.

I only had my mate take Gabi to punish Wyatt and Everly, but you know, I could go ahead and kill Tanner, and then take Gabi when I leave this pack. She would be heartbroken just like Liz was when she lost her mate, and unable to think straight, so she will be fresh for the picking.

I will have Liz gone in the next few days anyway, or I will just double my next order and up her dosage too until she dies. Gabi is beautiful just like her mom was and I think that she will be just beautiful on my arm.

I will be able to give all my time to her, and I can make her happy. She will be sad at first losing Tanner, but I guess I can have another child with her, if it would make her happy, to be with me. Melanie is pulling my head down to k!ss her, and I obliged and picked her up in my arms.

I rest her on one arm while I check her to see if she is ready for me, she is, and I let her slide down, inch by inch on my d!ck and she gives a loud m0an.

She leans back in my arms onto the glass walk of my shower and I lean forward and give one of her ns a hard tug into my mouth before I start a punishing pace with her.

Melanie grabs my shoulders as she pulls herself up and I braced her against the wall to better secure her. I pull her head to mine with my hand wrapped around the back of her neck and n!p her bottom l!p for entrance which she grants and wraps her arms around my neck.

Melanie is moving her h**s in a circle as I plunge into her and I can feel it when she clenches on my d!ck and she comes loudly, scratching my shoulders as she does. I give a few more thrusts and I come too, calling out my pleasure as well.

I slowly lower her and then help to clean her, as we will be moving this party to my room. I wash her all over and she enjoys me touching her, I especially like cleaning the intimate areas, and I am once again ready to go.

I enjoy Melanie and she is a young, fresh, and excitable woman, and in good shape. Not as good a shape as Gabi, but Melanie does look good in my bed with her hair splayed all around her. I move in to start round two and Melanie giggles and spreads her legs for me as I crawl up her body. Forget Liz, I will deal with her in the morning.
