Chapter 61

Tanner’s POV

I cannot get the smile off of my face. I have the girl of my dreams in my arms, and her scent is all around me. I lean in and take a sniff of her neck and I tighten my arms around Gabi’s wa!st.

I could stay like this forever, and I open my eyes to see that it was no longer early morning here at Ever Green. I hear my phone buzzing again, which is what woke me up in the first place.

I ignore it, and snuggle back up against Gabi, as I knew we are stilt both tired. We were up late, and then up like every two hours through the night. I check my watch and I see that it is after 10 and I am surprised that no one has bothered us yet.

I go ahead and check my phone and Dana has sent me over 10 texts, all getting progressively ruder, to where she is now demanding me to come downstairs, right now, as we need to return to our pack.

I don’t know why. I need to remind her that I am the Alpha, she should know this. We don’t have a timeline for today, and I just got fully mated, so I will not be rushed, especially by someone who made plans to mess our pack up and take my sweet Luna from me.

What she has done is completely unforgivable and she will be getting banned from my pack, as soon as we get the Taylor thing taken care of.

I sit up as I need to meet with Alpha Heath anyway. We were going to finalize our plans, and I also need to get with my mom about where she got with the dark witch. My mom always moves quickly with whatever she does.

She is efficient and when her family is messed with, as ruthless as she needs to be. Her momma bear has been activated and she will not be letting the dark witch go. I know she already has plans in motion for what she needs to get done, and I cannot wait to hear where she is on this.

I know she had only had a little over a day and a half to work on it, but my mom is an unstoppable machine when she is on a mission. I want to have Taylor, Monty, Derek, and Dana all

taken care of, and never to darken our doorstep again. I feel Gabi stirring next to me and I watch her wake up. Her hair is all over her pillow and partially covering her face and she pushes it back to turn and look at me over her shoulder.

The smile she gives me instantly makes my d!ck twitch and I lean in to smell her intoxicating scent again. She smells like clean air after the rain and oranges, I cannot get enough of her scent.

I see her standing at the shower and she turns to look at me with that beautiful smile of hers, I am calmed down in an instant. She has a halo almost around her as she had opened up blinds at the far end of the bathroom to give light, and she is totally bathed in sunlight.

She is a vision and I stop walking, and I am just completely staring at her now. She is my everything, and I cannot believe how lucky I am to have found her after looking for over three years. Gabi has the water set now and enters the shower and as it is just encased in glass, I can enjoy the view I am being given.

Gabi is wetting her hair, because she still thinks we are just showering and the view of her washing her hair, with her arms raised over her head, making her wa!st seem even slimmer and raising her rounded bre*asts.
