Three months later…

In these three months, Carter recovered from his injury. It’s because someone used magic and it was hard to get better. But still holding his hurting hand he and Jax keep trying to find Delta’s place. But every time they try they get nothing.

Carter locked himself in his office. He never left that room. He eats less, is restless and one doctor comes to his office to check on his arms.

Jax got more responsible for all the packs. He was taking care of Ace and Abby – Gabby all the time. Ace knows something happens to his mother, he won’t feel his mother around. So he keeps helping Jax and Leo to take care of his little sister. The whole packhouse keeps supporting each other. Leo and April also tried many places in search.

Ace looked at Jax who was wiping his eyes alone. Ace walks to Jax.

“Uncle, Jax…” He gently calls him.

Jax gets up from the bench wiping his eyes. Look calm with a smile. He turns to them with a smile.

“Did you want something, Ace?” Jax tries to smile. But his eyes show how sad he is.

“What happened to my Mommy?” Ace asked in a straightforward tone.

“Didn’t I tell you, she was out for her medical campaign. She will come back soon.”

“It’s already been three months, uncle. You were lying to me. I can feel it.” Ace said looking up in his eyes.

Jax knees in front of him. He keeps quiet as he doesn’t know how to talk to Ace.

“Ace…”

“Uncle Leo told me what happened. I see that bad guy who took my Mommy. And then Carter got hurt… And now your red, swollen eyes. You are sad, hurt and want to cry for Mommy, won’t you? Did you love Mommy this much? Like she loves you back?” Ace asked him, looking into his eyes. His hand smells on Jax’s chest.

“Leo won’t shut his mouth won’t he?” Jax murmured. Then he put a hand on Ace’s head. Starting full of love.

“Yes, I love your Mommy… Ace, won’t you hate me for this right?” Jax asked nervously.

“Why do I hate you? You love my Mommy. Mommy loves you… And you are so good to me and my sister. I like you a lot. I asked Mommy last time that I can call you Daddy. And she says I can call you Daddy.” Ace shows his gentle smile.

“She allows you to call me Daddy?” Jax couldn’t help but get shocked. He feels a warm feeling spread in his heart as he hugs Ace’s little body in his arms.

“Uncle… Can I call you Daddy?” Ace asked hopefully.

“Yes… Yes… As much you can… I’m so happy…” Jax said with tearful eyes.

“Mommy said that I need to take care of you, my sisters and Carter too when she is not around. I hope she will be happy to see I was going as she says to me.” Ace smiled at Jax.

Jax can’t help but cry even more holding Ace in arms. Suddenly he felt two more hands hug his back. And the sweet melody waves in the air. Jax’s heart began to calm down. He looked behind. Abbey – Gabby smiles sweetly c*****g their head in a cute way.

“Don’t cry Big Daddy… Or I’ll cry too.” Gabby said, pulling her bottom lips ready to cry.

“Don’t cry… Look I’m not crying…” Jax wiped his tears and pulled both three kids in his big hug.

“Big Daddy… You are so big… Just like my teddy bears.” Abbey said, rubbing her head on his chest.

“That’s why you’re calling him Big Daddy?” Ace asked.

“Of course, Daddy won’t be as Big Daddy. Oh, brother, I got two bears. One was Daddy and the other one was Big Daddy.” Gabby pulled back and counted on her little finger and danced in happily.

Jax laughed at her happy dance.

“Big Daddy, did you feel better? I and Gabby sing melodies that make you calm down. Did it work?” Abbey asked.

“It works very well. Thank my princesses… And Ace you too.” Jax said.

“Mommy will be here soon…” Ace murmured.

“I know… I’ll wait for her. But…” Jax got serious suddenly.

“What happened, Daddy?” Ace asked.

“You all make me feel better but someone else needs more support at this time.” Jax said sadly.

“Who?” Ace asked.

“Alpha Carter… Your Daddy. He looked at himself in his office. He does not even eat or sleep properly. I feel he may get more I’ll. His wound was still there. He needs to come out and have some healthy meals and sleep.” Jax said, sighing sadly.

“I’ll meet him.” Ace turns to walk.

“Wait, Ace…” Jax tries to stop Ace, but his hand is healed by Abbey – Gabby.

“Big Daddy… I want to eat something… I’m hungry…” Gabby said with puppy eyes.

“Me too, Big Daddy…” Abbey said with the same look.

“Ok, my princess… Come…” Jax packs both girls in arms. Both girls giggle happily.

Carter pov

It’s been three months since that bastard took my love. When I find him I’ll tutor him slowly until he begged me to kill him. I hope he never does something bad to her. She is carrying pups. Our pups! I hope they are doing well. I never told anyone that the day she got kidnapped and I got shot out of a sudden. I feel one more pain in my heart like she chose someone else, mate with someone else. I don’t know how I can feel this, but I can still feel her, and she is disappearing from my memory. She forgetting me and our Mate bond, her pups and Jax are too.

My b***d was boiling knowing it was him doing that to her. He forced her to forget us. That’s why I kept searching for her. My warrior keeps stopping in the dark forest. It was strange they searched every inch of frost, but won’t succeed, And that’s making me crazy. I want her… I really want her to be close to me.

Goddess was punishing me for making her hurt but told her that I’ll do everything to make her happy. Please send her back.

I was in my office sleepless, without food. I can survive two more months without food. But my soul was dying slowly. James shut down in my mind. He is sad and crying inside. I can feel him. But he never blamed me this time.

A soft knock comes from my door. I look at clocked its evening seven. No one disturb me this time.

“Who is there? Didn’t I tell you not to disturb me?” I growled in anger.

“It’s me, Ace.” The soft voice of my pups makes me shocked.

Ace? Why is my son here? This is the first time he has come to me. We were getting close when Nora came here. But after that night when Nora got kidnapped. I hide myself, I don’t want to face them. I was a terrible father to them. I feel helpless when it comes to Ace. He was like me, saying what is in his heart. He won’t hold back his anger when it comes to me. He hates me beyond the limits, I get that. And now he was here. Maybe he came here to blame me for his missing Mommy.

“I’m coming in…” Ace’s voice pulled me back to reality.

The door opened and he walked in. I turn my chair to the door, I don’t want to see his angry, cold face. I can’t take it now. Maybe he will use his power to freeze me as he did back there.

‘Goddess, help me! I can’t take it if my son blames me for losing his mother…’ I pray to the goddess.
