“Please, Alpha, let my son go…”Sally was so scared.

” Then tell him to stay away from My Mate!!”James roared in anger.

“Your Mate?” All of the same time with a shocking and confusing tone.

“Nora… She is my Mate! Mine! ” James pointed in Nora’s direction.

“What?” all of the staring at Carter widened their eyes.

“No…” Nora’s said in a low, tired, low voice.

Hearing her voice, all of them turn to her.

“Mate…” James lets Leo’s neck, and he walks forward to her. His eyes soften and show lots of emotion.

“Mate… Mine…” He tries to touch her cheeks.

” No… No… Please don’t touch me! Don’t come close to me!” Nora shouted in panic.

She couldn’t take it anymore. She was holding herself too much longer. When she sees Carter walk to her and try to touch her, she loses control. She began unconsciously. Before she falls, Carter holds her in his arms in time.

“s**t, Nora!! Carter, let her go!! You made her situation worse.” Leo tries to get Nora from Carter.

“Don’t. Touch. Her. ” James growls and holds Nora close to him protectively.

“Carter… James, let her go… She is…” Leo tried to say.

“No. She is Mine.” James growls at Leo.

“Fine… If you want to kill her, then hold her like that. She will die soon.” Leo said in a frustrated tone.

“No. She won’t die.” Carter growls sadly.

“If she won’t take her medicine, she will surely die.” Leo finally says it.

“Medicine?” James looks confused.

“Alpha, Leo was right! Nora needs to take her medicine. She is not well. Leo is a doctor, and please let him treat her.” Tom said convincing tone.

“She. Not well? ” James looked down at Nora’s white face.

“Yes, she is not well. Alpha, you need to give her to Leo. Leo is a doctor, and he knows what to do.” Sally told him in a hurried tone.

James thinks about that, and then he turns to Jax. Jax looks at his confusion.

“I don’t want Leo to touch her. Take her back to her room.” Carter said to Jax.

Jax’s eyes widen in shock, then he nods in understanding and takes Nora in his arms. He looked down at Nora and sighed in relief, seeing her close to him. James turned to Leo, who was frowned in anger.

“What’s the point of doing this? I still need to check on her.” Leo mocked and turned to walk with Jax.

James and Tom follow them. Sally walks a distance from him. Leo shows Jax to Nora’s room, and Jax lays down on her bed. He takes her smell more, if possible, before he leaves her for Leo.

“Brother, go outside… I will check on her.” Low said, getting her hospital kit out from the side table.

“Ok ” Jax looked last at her, then he walked away. Carter and others were standing out.

Leo checks on her b***d pressure and does a basic checkup, and gives her medicine. Seeing her take her medicine, Leo sighs in relief. After confirming she is ok, Leo walks out of the room.

“How is she?” Sally asks in a worried tone.

“She is fine, Mom. She needs to sleep.” Leo said calmly.

“Leo, why does she like this?” Jax asks with a worried face. He looked so tense.

“It’s because of him. He made her like this… This is all his fault…” Leo pointed to Carter.

“What did you mean? How can it be my fault?” Carter asked in confusion. James gave her control when he heard that she was okay.

“Because of you, she has become like this. You are responsible that she can’t sleep better on moon night, she can’t hold herself when she is with you, she never becomes old Nora, because she faces depression. Your rejection made her like this, Alpha Carter!!” Leo said coldly.

“My rejection cursed her like this? ” Carter murmured and felt more guilty.

“Alpha, reject her? ” Jax shouted. He is in shock.

“He did. He rejected Nora four years ago. You never know what you did to her, Carter. I hold her and help her to become like she is today. But your appearance made her go back to depression again. And I won’t allow that to happen. You need to go to your pack house. Please don’t mess with her. Just go, Carter… Just go!” Leo said and turned to walk away.

But Carter stopped him in the middle and stood in front of him. Leo looked at him thoughtfully. Carter looked at him like he was holding his wolf out. He wants to know about Nora’s condition.

“I won’t go, Leo. Not until I correct my past mistakes. I want to know what happened to Nora. I need to know if she is ok or not. I felt blamed for her condition. So now I want to know… What is her real condition.” Carter said in a strong tone.

” Correct your mistakes! Are you coming here to make her worse, aren’t you? After breaking her heart, now you come here to collect her broken piece? Carter, don’t do this… She suffers a lot… let her live as she is now.” Leo said in a worried tone.

“Let her live like this? Leo, you took her with you. Marry her and have babies with her. Now that I found her, you are making excuses, so I leave her to you! It is what you aimed to do. Did you think I was stupid? I won’t leave her. Now that I found her, there is no way I’ll let her to you… No. Not a chance! She will be coming with me. If you want, you can try to stop me! I dare you!” Carter said in complete anger.

Leo looks at him and then starts laughing at his face.

“Leo…” Sally tried to say.

“Mom, did you hear what he just said? He thinks I took Nora and had babies with her?” Leo held his painful stomach as he laughed out loudly.

Sally sighs helplessly. Jax looks at Leo the same as Carter looks at Leo, confused.

“Can you stop laughing?” Carter said in an annoying tone.

“Why?” Leo stopped laughing and asked him.

“Huh?” Carter looked at him in confusion.

“Carter, I never forced her to come with me. She is happy with me.” Leo said with a soft smile.

Carter growls in displeasure with what Leo says.

“I will make her happier than you,” Carter said confidently.

“Why? Why do you want to make her happier? Why do you want to know what happened to her? After ending the mate bond between you two. Why are you calling her Mate?” Leo looks into his eyes to know her true intention to come here.

“Because she is still my Mate. My wolf James won’t agree with me rejecting Nora. So our bond was not broken fully. That’s why James got aggressive seeing you close to her. James wants Nora back… And… And I won’t be able to control him about Nora.” Carter told him in a calm tone.

Leo looks Carter in the eyes for more than ten minutes, then sighs helplessly. Sally stepped forward and put a hand on Leo’s shoulder.

“Leo, I think it’s time for him to know what happened to Nora. Talk to him… It’s for Nora.” Sally said.

“Mom…” Leo wants to fight, but he looks at Carter’s desperate eyes and sighs helplessly.

“Fine. Come with me…” Leo said to Carter to follow him. And walk away.

“Thanks, Auntie… ” Carter k****s Sally on the cheeks and runs behind Leo.

Sally just smiled.

“Mind if I go with them, Mom?” Jax asks nervously.

Sally just nodded at him. Jax runs after both.
