“Why are you here, Alpha Carter? You too, Beta Jax? “Leo’s voice is cold like ice.

“Leo, is this the way to talk to your elder brother? can’t I come here to meet you or mom-dad?” Jax asked in displeasure.

“Fine. But what is he doing here? He is a patient. He needs rest. Send him back to the hospital.” Leo rolled his eyes at them.

“That’s why I brought Alpha here. He needs a place to rest without disturbance. So I thought our parent’s house was the best option to stay in. The doctor discharged him because he recovered quickly. So he is now staying here for five more days.” Jax told him he was convinced.

Carter was looking at the girl in Leo’s arms. He feels silently attracted to her.

“What a lovely girl. Who is she?” Carter tried to touch her.

“None of your business!” Leo stepped back from Carter’s side. He holds Gabby more protectively.

Carter sighs helplessly. Gabby looks at both men. Her eyes land on Carter, and she smiles at him.

“Hello, uncle. I’m Gabby. Are you a friend of my Daddy?” She waved her little hand and asked cheerfully.

“Yes.” Carter nods softly.

“Daddy? So is she your daughter?” Jax asked in surprise and looked a bit nervous.

Carter looks somehow sad. He never knows why he feels hurt in his heart after hearing him.

“Yes, Gabby is my daughter. Mine and Nora’s pup.” Leo said proudly.

“Your and Nora’s daughter?” Carter asked in a displeased tone. He held his anger back and put a smile on his face. He steps forward too close to Leo.

“Hey, you are Gabby, right? Do you want to come to uncle?” Carter spread his hand in front of a girl. Gabby looked at him. Then her eyes landed on his injured arms, which were wrapped in bandages. She feels worried about him.

“No… You better…” Leo wants to scold him.

“Can’t you be respectful? Don’t forget he is Alpha.” Jax cut him in the middle. He doesn’t like the tone Leo uses to talk to Carter.

“Respectful? To him? He is your Alpha, not mine… So… Hey-hey…” Before he completes his sentence, Grabby is taken by Carter. Gabby learned about Carter’s arms so that he could take her in his arms. Seeing her wish, Carter picked her up in his arms.

Seeing Gabby is now Carter’s hand, Leo gets angry and scared that Carter will hurt her. Wolf doesn’t like his Mate getting pups from another wolf. They can kill pups out of jealousy. So Leo gets scared because Carter doesn’t know that Gabby is his daughter.

“You better give me my daughter back. Don’t you dare to hurt her.” Leo growls in anger.

“Leo, seriously? Did you really think I would harm this baby girl? She is just a kid, Leo. I’m not heartless or evil as you thought.” Carter said desperately.

“Huh! I know how heartless and evil you can be. So don’t hide it.” Leo said mockingly.

“Leo, I’m warning you. Respect the Alpha!!”Jax growls at him angrily.

Gabby starts shivering after hearing their argument, and She holds Carter’s neck in fear. Carter patted her back to make her calm down.

“Jax -Leo, relaxed. you’re scaring the girl.” Carter said in a low voice.

“It’s your fault.” Leo rolled his eyes annoyingly.

“Hum!!”Jax looked away to calm down his anger.

“Did you guys plan to stay here the whole day?” Sally’s voice made them turn. She was walking to them with a soft smile.

“Alpha Carter, what brought you here?” She bowed respectfully to him and asked.

“Mom, Alpha Carter was injured by a Rogue attack. He needed a place for his rest so no one disturbed him. So I brought him here. I hope you don’t mind if Alpha stays here for five more days.” Jax told everything to Sally in a hurry.

“Of course, it’s an honour that Alpha Carter is staying here.” Sally smiled at them.

“Mom! No!!” Leo tries to protest.

“First of all. You both come inside to have some tea and breakfast. Gabby, come down. Uncle is injured. He may feel hurt if you stay up there.” Sally said.

“Uncle, who hurt you like this? ” Gabby asked with an innocent face. She looked worried.

“Bad people,” Carter answered quietly.

“Oh! But don’t worry, Uncle, if they come back to hurt you, then I, sister Abbey and brother Ace beat them. Daddy and grandpa teach us how to fight bad people and protect others. So don’t worry, we will protect you. ” Gabby said and a pat on his shoulder.

“Ha.. ha… ha… I’ll look forward to that day then. Did you have more sibilance?” Carter laughed cheerfully at her talk. He already likes Gabby very much. He smells Nora’s scents on her. It means it is true that she is Nora’s daughter. He was surprised to hear that she had two more siblings.

“Yes, I had a brother and sister. They are the same age as me. But they are big for me, just five-six minutes. We are triples.” Gabby shows his fingers to him.

“Triples?” Carter murmured to himself. He looked sad somehow.

“Such lovely girl, you are so lucky, Leo.” Jax smiles at Leo.

“Thanks.” Leo didn’t help but smile.

“Shall we go inside?” Sally asked.

‘But I’m against this, mom. Nora is here. What if…’ Leo tried to say.

‘You will be there to handle her, right?’ Sally said from mind linking.

Leo looked displeased but remained quiet.

“Uncle put me down,” Gabby said.

“Why? Don’t you like your uncle carrying you?” Carter got sad. He didn’t want to let her go. He felt so calm when he held her close to him.

“No. I like that uncle carrying me. You feel so warm and smell like brother Ace. But you feel hurt if you carry me. You are injured.” She said with a worried tone.

She saw the bandage on his shoulder as he picked her up. His shirt was loose, and the upper two buttons were open. Anyone can see his bandages.

“Are you worried about me?” Ask her in a loving tone.

She just nodded in understanding. Carter nodded her back and put her down. He ruffled her silky hair. She looks up at him and smiles sweetly. She holds his hand, and on the other side, he holds Leo’s hand.

“Come on, Daddy -Uncle!!” She started walking.

Leo and Carter look at each other and walk with her without saying words. Jax and Sally follow them behind.

Carter pov

When I woke up in a hospital bed, my mind was filled with the name Nora. My wolf James wants to yell her name in my mind repeatedly. Jax, my Beta, found his parent’s house where Leo took Nora last night. I forced the doctor to discharge me so I could live with My love Nora. I’m going to meet her today.

Yes! She has been in my mind for the whole four years, no matter how much I try to forget about her. But her scent was everywhere around me. My whole packhouse had her smell. My bedroom bed where we chat and watch a movie on my big screen tv. She loves horror movies, but she gets scared of seeing a ghost. And when she saw a horror movie, she slept in my room that night. It’s not that we both are alone in my room. Leo is also with us. And he is the one who scared the s**t out of her by acting like a ghost. That’s why she smells on my bed.

My book self when I wouldn’t say I like books at all, but Nora was a bookworm. Sometimes she gets bored and wants to read books. So I made a small bookshelf for her. I remember when she saw a bookshelf. She was so happy.

*** Flashback ***

“Oh, My Goddess! Candy, You made this for me?” Nora had her hand on her ‘o’ sharp mouth, and her Amber eyes widened in shock.

“Of course, it’s for you. Did you think I’ll read books in my life?” Carter rubs his neck annoyingly.

“Candy!!” Now, her eyes sparkled.

“What?” He looked at her.

“You are too sweet like candy.” She pinched both of his cheeks and said with a sweet smile.

“Hey, I’m not a girl that you call me candy,” Carter said in frustration.

“Tsk… Tsk… Tsk… I never called you Candy because I see you as a girl. I know you are a man and the future Alpha.” She removes her hand from his cheeks and steps back.

“Then why did you call me Candy?” Carter asked.

“Because your heart is sweet like Candy. You always stay strong and stubborn in front of others, but I see your sweet side as your friend. You do many things for me. You are always sweet to me, so that is why I give you that name. But if you don’t like it, I’ll stop calling you from now on.” She said with a smile.

“Hey, I didn’t say I don’t like that. You can call me that name. But only you!!” Carter said.

“Really?” She clapped happily.

“Yeah! But only you are allowed to call me that name. Not anyone allowed.” He said, shooting her serious gaze.

She smiles more brightly and jumps on him. Carter catch her in time and holds her in a hug. Her legs wrapped his waist.

“Be careful Nora. What if I won’t catch you in time? You will get hurt someday, you know.” Carter snapped her little angry tone.

“But I know you’re always there when I fall. Won’t you?” She hugged him by the neck and rubbed her cheeks on him.

She always thanks him like this. It was her habit when she was a little pup. Carter knows this so he won’t feel different.

“What if I’m not there when you fall?” He asked in a testing tone.

She gets her face back to see him. Staring at him in the eyes, she smiles sweetly.

“Oh! Then I need to find someone else, right? Who will hold me then? Mmm… Leo? He will hold me then.” She bit her lips and thought before saying it.

As he heard her words, his face changed, and his eyes darkened in anger. Then he put her down and took a deep breath of her scent to calm down.

“No! You don’t need someone else. It’s always me who touches you like this, not anyone. Not Leo too. Got that, Nora?” He used his Alpha voice. This is not the first time he has felt different or said jealousy.

“Ok, My Alpha.” She bowed to him.

Carter nodded in satisfaction. He feels pleasure when she says ‘My Alpha ‘. He coughs lightly to clear his different thoughts.

“So, did you like the bookshelf or not?” He asked.

Nora looks at his bookshelf and gives him thumbs up with her beautiful smile.

Remembering her smiling face, I want to see that smile so severely. After she leaves or says I made her go, I feel my heart hurt badly. Not because I rejected her, but because I could never see her face again.

But I could smell her scents that were always roaming in my room and didn’t allow me to forget her. Some of my clothes also had her scent, because she wears them sometimes when she gets wet in the rainfall or waterfalls or sometimes packs the house’s swimming pools. She likes rain, and she likes to lay down on the grass in summer. I’ll kick out all males when she does that. I don’t want anyone to lay eyes on her. She is a priceless treasure to me. I don’t want any useless wolf to try to flirt with her. No, I won’t be allowed to do that!

As for their future Alpha and son of their current Alpha, all respect me and do as I say. But it doesn’t mean I take advantage of my position. I will always be good to others but have a bad temper too. And it cost me a lot.

“Carter, you became a significant Alpha one day. And I’ll bow to you And your Luna. Like this.” One day, Nora showed him how she bows.

“Nora! You are not allowed to bow to my Luna or me. I don’t like you doing that, ok?” Carter gets frustrated.

“Ok. How about I make hot chocolate for you and your Luna then?” She asked with a gentle smile.

“That’s ok for me.” Carter nodded in satisfaction.

Again she smiled sweetly. Goddess! How much I miss her smile. I don’t like to see her cry face. I feel like crying too. I got aggressive, seeing tears flow out from her beautiful eyes.

Just like one day, she locked herself in her room. Her little sister called me. I ran to her house as soon as I got called. I tried to talk to her, but she was quiet all the time. I got scared that something might happen to her, so I broke her door and got in. When she saw me, she hid her face on the pillow.

“Nora, look at me.” I see she was hiding something from me. And I don’t like her hiding anything from me.

“I’m… Fine, Carter. You can go. I want to sleep.” Nora said without showing her face.

‘Carter?’ She took my name, not called me Candy. That means something really serious happened to her.

“Nora, what happened? You call me by my name. It means something happened. Tell me before I burst the head out of anyone around us.” I used my Alpha tone.

She shivered when she heard my voice and turned to me. Then I see a cut on her bottom lips. B***d stopped, but her lips parted in two. It looks so painful.

“What the hell? Who did this to you?” I sit in front of her and look closely at her lips.

She had beautiful, red lips like a juicy apple. I look away to distract then I see burnish on her neck. It’s a handprint. My anger boiled more and more as I saw that. I feel James wants to take over, and he is always protective of her like me.

“Tell me honestly. Who did this?” I range in anger.

“Candy, let’s forget about this? I don’t want you to fight with them.” She tries to smile, but her lips fall, so she can’t show that smile every time. Goddess! who made her like that made me angrier.

I know she is a wolf, and she can heal her face soon. But I can’t help it. I hold her face close to me and lick her wound on her lips. James howled as I felt a sparked rush to my whole body. Maybe she thought too, or she got embarrassed because she tried to get free from me. I hold her more closely and continue to lick her bottom lips. Suddenly I heard her moaning, her lips appeared, and my mind got out of control that day I tested her lips. They are so tasty, strawberry flavoured. I smell her juices flowing down there. I feel turned on by just a k**s.

“Charter.” Miya’s voice snapped back at me, and I left her face. I get up from bed when I smell Miya and my new girlfriend walk inside.

Miya runs to Nora and holds her in a hug. My eyes meet her red blushing face. I look away because her eyes are drawing me in.

“Are you ok? I thought you were dead. they are so cruel, and they choke you like this.” Miya talks are nonstop about how Nora was poorly treated.

“Miya, did you know who they are?” I asked, and Miya told me their name.

I run outside, and I’ll kill whoever touches her like that. That day Leo and I beat four guys and two girls. They blamed Nora for trying to seduce their boyfriends. I couldn’t believe their nonsense and expelled them from college. I’m Alpha’s son, so I can do that.

This is what it means to me, Nora. I was stupid to reject her, but the time in that night was not right to accept her. Miya was pregnant by me. When Miya told me that, I promised her, I’d marry her and made make my Luna. But before that happened, I found Nora as my Mate. I was so desperate to want Nora at that time. But I knew about Miya’s pregnancy. I don’t want to make things messier. I don’t wish Nora to get hurt by knowing my mistake, so this is why I reject her? She deserves someone better than me, not her mate like me, who already made another woman pregnant. I love Miya, but I also love Nora. It’s so hard for me to choose one of them. So I decided to select Miya because she is carrying my pup.

I feel so sorry for Nora. I pray to the moon goddess that she gets another Mate. He can make her happy. But I never thought without her, my wolf would become weak, and it’s affecting my power. To all, I was a strong and heartless Alpha, but inside I wanted Nora. My wolf won’t allow me to touch another woman or Miya. He wants his true Mate, Nora.

In these four years, all things have changed; I lost my pup in an accident, and I can’t be able to touch Miya when she feels curved for me. My d*ck is like dead meat. It won’t respond to how much I try. Miya tried to help me. But James always growls angrily at her and makes her leave the room. I was so frustrated and angry because of that that I became cold and cruel to others.

‘Nora’ that one name makes me hard on. After four years, I feel her body in my arms, and I want her whole. As I thought, I felt relieved. I’ll get my power, my heart, my love Nora back. And no one is going to stop me. Not even Leo.

‘She is ours! Only our!’ James howls happily.

The car stopped, and Jax’s voice made me come back to reality.

“Alpha, this is my mom-dad house. Leo and Nora are inside of the house.” Jax tells me to point to the white house in the middle of green trees.

‘Yes, now we can see our Mate, and we will bring her back with us.’ James howled more happily.

Look at the house and smirk softly. I can smell her, and she is inside the house.

‘Finally! Nora, my love, I’m here to take you with me. Be ready for a steamy night with me. I won’t give you time to leave our bed. ‘ I looked down at my pants, and a giant tent appeared because of his thoughts.

Jax cleaning his thoughts makes me red. He smells me for sure. s**t! I need it to control.

“Let’s go.” I clear my thoughts and get out of the car.
