Nora pov

The dinner table was filled with the people I love most in my life. And they love, care for me back. And I’m thankful to them for always staying with me. Right now, Leo’s parents, Sally and Tom, are feeding Abby-Gabby. Ace with Leo eating calmly. Seeing both sitting together, I remember they look the same as Carter and Leo sitting together when they are in the pack house and our college. My heart twisted seeing Leo become alone. Because of me, Leo broke his friendship with Carter, he ran out of the pack, became Rogue, and that’s why he lost the opportunity to be Carter’s beta. He never tries to find his mate and start his own family. All because of me. Everyone can say I’m a bit selfish, but I know I’ll never survive if Leo is not there for me when I need someone to give me hope for life.

After all the mess was put aside, I’m happy to see my small family always with me. And It helps me to forget all my pain. I take a deep breath and put on my usual smile. I need to show them that I’m ok now. Yesterday’s incident never bothers me.

“Good morning, lovely people!! ” I said cheerfully.

All of them first looked at me and then looked at each other. They may mind linking how to act around me. But my babies smile sweetly at me.

“Good morning, Mommy!!” Abby-Gabby says it at the same time. Showed the most priceless smile to me.

Oh! I love both of my girls, and they are so adorable. As for Ace, he gives me a slight nod. Leo, Selly and Tom come back to reality.

“Good morning, Nora. Did you sleep well last night?” Selly asked me. I could feel worried in her voice.

“I got a good sleep last night, thanks to my baby boy.” I nodded my head and kissed Ace’s forehead. She nods back in understanding.

“I didn’t know when he got in your room last night.” Leo gives a confused look.

“So today is your holiday? Are you resting at home?” Tom said.

“No. I want to go to the park!” Gabby shouted in the middle. She was so excited to go out.

“Oh, park? Are you ok with that?” Tom asked worriedly.

“Dad, I’m fine, really. And we already planned this yesterday to take the kids to the park.” I told him with a smile on my face. I show them that I’m ok.

“So Ace with your room last night?” Leo asked.

“Yes, he gives me a company to sleep.” I take a side beside Ace as I said that.

“That’s why he was not in his room last night. Good job, Ace.” Leo gives him a thumbs up with a smile.

“I just want Mom to sleep peacefully.” Ace hides his blushing face. My sweet boy always gets shy when someone compliments him.

“Mmm… Mommy, can we sleep beside you tonight?” Abby asked using her puppy eyes.

“Sure my, baby princess.” I give her a soft nod.

“Me too. ” Gabby waved her hand in a hurry.

“Yes, baby, you too. And you don’t need to ask Mommy something about this again. When you want, you can sleep with me, ok.” I said with an assuring smile to them.

“Hello! This is a morning guy, and you are talking about sleep? You can eat your breakfast first so that we can leave for the park.” Leo said, clapping his hand in excitement.

“Ok.” all shouted and began to eat their breakfast.

“So kids, tell me one thing. Did you not bother grandpa and grandma too much, right?” I ask the kids.

I know they always become good kids wherever they go. But I’m doubtful about Mom-dad. Because they spoiled My kids, not in a wrong way, they taught me many good things too.

“No. Mommy.” All three shouted.

“Grandma gave us lots of chocolate, toys and cake, too,” Gabby said.

“Grandpa taught me how to fight and protect Mom. He gave me this iPad.” Ace shows the iPad in his hand.

“Look, mommy grandma gave me this doll.” Abbey shows the beautiful doll in her lamp.

It looks like they had a good time with mom-dad. I smile softly and look at mom-dad.

“Mom-dad, why do you do so much?” I want to ask them about toys.

“Ah-ha, don’t say it. They are our grandchildren, and we love to spoil them.” Sally stopped me using her warm smile.

“Yes, honey is right. You are our daughter, just like Leo to us. We both love you, and I want to give them what they need to give at this age.” Tom shows a rare smile.

“I hope they won’t be in too much trouble,” I said with a shy smile.

“No way! They are good kids.” Sally said.

“We are happy to take care of them. Moon goddess knows when Leo gives us Grandchildren? But until now, we get much experience in the care of the kids.” Dad said, shooting a gaze at Leo.

“Wha..? ” Leo choked his food into his throat.

“Seeing his reaction, I can’t hold my laughter. As I laugh, all laugh with me. Leo’s face got more pissed.

“Mommy, what is the meaning of Grandchildren? ” Abbey asked curiously.

“Well… You can ask your daddy for them.” I push Strom to Leo. His face looks priceless.

“Daddy….” Abbey wanted to ask Leo. But Leo put food in her mouth so she could shut up. He is a clever wolf. That’s why he is perfect for the title of Beta.

“When Leo’s daddy had babies like you or Ace or Gabby. They become our grandchildren. Just like you, three is to us. ” Dad was one to tell them.

Leo’s jaw dropped in surprise. I must say I’m enjoying his situation.

“Daddy, when will we get more babies? ” Abbey asked innocently.

“Mmm…Leo, when giving her answer? Are you ready for the baby? ” I smile at him meaningfully.

He knows what I’m talking about. After recalling our conversation yesterday, his face got whiter than paper in fear. He really thought that I got his seed for me to conceive a baby. What dumb wolf he is. I’ll never be going to carry his or another’s baby. But I’m enjoying testing Leo.

“Holy crab! ! Hold on, Nora! Mom-dad, please… Don’t talk about more babies here.” Leo is just freaking in anger. He is panicking now because he knows what I mean.

“Why not? And why are you freaking out?” Tom asked in confusion.

“I’ll tell you later, Dad, but right now… This topic is closed. Have you got it? Mom-Dad?” Leo spoke in pissed and said forcefully.

“Mmm… Leo… You don’t have to…” I try to calm him down.

“You too, Nora!” Leo uses his Beta tone. Rough and strong.

“Whatever.” I struggle with my shoulders. Now it’s my time to stop.

“Sure.” Sally nods. Tom nodded in understanding.

“Sigh! You almost killed me…” Leo murmured himself.

“Daddy, when will we have a baby?” Gabby asked.

“No! No babies! ” Leo shouted in anger.

Soon he realised his mistake, but it was too late. All eyes turned to Gabby. Who is almost going to cry?

“Daddy got angry! At me!!” Gabby’s low lips pulled out, and she started sobbing.

“Wait! My princess… Don’t cry…” Leo hurries up and runs to Gabby.

“Daddy… is angry… He doesn’t love Gabby…” She cries more. My poor girl! Her little face is covered with tears.

“Leo, you better stop her crying. Or I’ll sell your organs to others.” I give his sharp eyes.

“Don’t get mad at me. Mom-dad helps me.” Leo said. I panicked.

“It’s you who shouted at the kids. You know how sensitive Gabby is. ” Mom said.

“But…” Leo tried to say.

“Take her out in the garden. She will be fine.” Tom suggested to him.

“Agh! Fine, come on, my princess. Daddy will tell you a story about the baby.” Leo picked up Grabby and walked out to the garden.

“Are you really going to sell his organs?” Tom asked.

“I can. If anyone wants a wolf’s organs.” I said jokingly.

Sally and Tom laugh with me.

“Abbey, don’t you want to go with Daddy?” Sally asked curiously.

“No, Grandma, I’m a big girl. I knew Daddy would bring me a baby for sure. I won’t cry like Gabby does because she is my baby sister.” Abbey said and began to eat.

“Wow! I never expected this answer from her.” Tom looks surprised as I’m too.

“Don’t forget they are smart kids.” Sally smiled at him.

Yes, I agree with her. I smile at myself.

Leo wipes tears from Gabby’s cheeks and sits on the garden bench.

“Now, don’t cry anymore, ok? Daddy won’t get angry at you again.” Leo said, rubbing her back gently.

“Mmm…” Gabby nods and hugs his chest.

“Tell Daddy what did you want? Daddy will bring that to you..” Leo held her close and said gently.

“Daddy, Gabby wants a baby.” She looked up at him and asked.

“Not again. Fine. Daddy gives you a baby, ok?” Leo sighs helplessly.

“Really, Daddy?” Her eyes sparkled like stars.

“Really.”

“Promise?”

“Daddy’s promise.” Leo nodded calmly.

“Yeah, thank you, daddy. I love you.” She jumps in his arms and k****s his cheek.

“I love my princess.” Leo holds her in his arms. Suddenly, Denim, his wolf, growls in his mind. Make him alert.

“Daddy, someone is here to meet you,” Gabby said, looking behind his shoulder.

Leo turned to the backside to see. He gets dark seeing two men walking in their direction. Denim tries to take control, but Leo holds him back. He didn’t want to scare Gabby. He sneezes angrily and holds Gabby close to him.

“Why are you here, Alpha Carter? You too, Beta Jax?” Leo’s voice is cold like ice.
