Mommy,We Got a Husband
Chapter 368 Tommy

After breakfast, Alaric dropped off the three kids first, then headed to drop off Stellan.

Once the kids were out, it was just the two of them in the car. Stellan couldn't help but chuckle, thinking about the kids joking about Alaric's baldness. "You're still laughing?" Alaric was about to lose it. "What's so funny about that?"

"How is it not funny?" Stellan grinned at him. "I just pictured you bald."

"Even if I go bald, I'd still be a looker. Besides, baldness isn't in my genes!" Alaric was fuming.

Stellan laughed even harder. Alaric, on the verge of a meltdown, cranked up the car stereo to drown out his frustration.

Stellan just watched him, thinking Alaric could be pretty adorable sometimes.

They pulled up in front of the company building, and Alaric, with a mix of emotions, snapped, "Get out of the car now."

Since when did Stellan laugh so easily? She'd been teasing him the whole ride.

"Alright." Stellan was still grinning as she got out of the car.

Alaric sped off, leaving Stellan laughing, her mind filled with images of a bald Alaric.

Since work was slow today, Stellan hung out at Nexus Innovations for a bit before heading to the entertainment center. But instead of going to Cormac's office, she went to his apartment. Hearing a knock, Rowena, who was composing music, quickly stopped and ran to the door.

"Did you forget your keys again? You're always so forgetful..." Rowena said as she opened the door.Seeing Stellan, she was surprised. "Stellan, you're here? Come in."

"I thought you'd be bummed to see me instead of Cormac," Stellan teased.

"Stop talking nonsense, how could that be?" Rowena warmly pulled her to the sofa. "I've been so bored lately, really wanted to go shopping with you, but now you're a busy CEO. I was afraid asking you to go shopping would make you lose billions, so I gave up."

Stellan said, "Is it because you're in love? Your words are so sweet now."

"No way! I'm not in love." Rowena pouted.

"Not in love? Aren't you two already living together?" Stellan found it hard to believe.

"Yeah, we are, but we're super polite to each other. We cook and eat together, then take turns showering, and then go back to our rooms. It's more like we're roommates."

Stellan didn't expect this and had to give Cormac props. "Cormac really has a lot of patience. How does he manage it?"

Rowena said, "I think he sees me as unfeeling." Hearing Rowena's complaint, Stellan couldn't help but laugh.

"Just give him some time; he'll eventually fall for your charm," Stellan said.

Rowena smiled hopefully and then asked, "How's Mr. Knight doing lately?"

Stellan replied, "He's much better."

Rowena nodded. "That's good. He'll recover soon, and you won't have to worry so much."

Stellan just gave a half-hearted smile. Sure, his recovery eased her biggest worry, but now those scary enemies were making her super anxious.

"What about you? What have you been up to lately?" Stellan asked.

"I'm planning to start my own company to teach students," Rowena said.

"Then you'll be a future CEO too, and a real one. I'm just a stand-in CEO," Stellan said.

"Stop mocking me. Nexus Innovations is a global giant, okay? I can't even dream of getting that big. I'll be happy if I can just get my company off the ground." Rowena asked again, "Are you not busy today since you came to see me?" "Not too busy," Stellan said, "I have plans tonight, but I'm free during the day. Want to go shopping?"

Stellan really needed to clear her head; otherwise, she'd keep overthinking.

"Sure, let me change real quick." Rowena dashed off to change.

Shopping with friends was the best-shopping and eating together. The day flew by, and before they knew it, it was over.

Alaric first picked up the three kids from school, then swung by the company to pick her up, and the five of them headed to the airport.

"Just thinking it might be a bald guy makes me not want to go." Elisa pouted.

"That's just your imagination. Who said he has to be bald?" Alaric was fed up with the word now. Elisa shot back, "But even if he's not bald, he's still an old man. Nothing to get excited about." "Even if he's not an old man, but a young handsome guy, what can you do?" Alaric asked.

"At least he's easy on the eyes. Who doesn't like looking at handsome guys?" Elisa said, "When I didn't know you were my dad, I accepted you as my dad because you were handsome and rich. If you were a bit uglier, I wouldn't have." "Not me." Harry corrected. "I only accepted you because you were rich."

Stellan and Alaric were speechless.

Were these really their biological kids? They sure didn't act like it!

Alaric was silent the whole way. When they got to the airport, Harry was in charge of holding a big sign with "Tommy Reaves" written on it.

It felt like they waited forever. Finally, a guy, after scanning the whole airport, saw the sign and walked over with his luggage.

When they saw the guy coming over, the five of them were a bit stunned. The three kids were even more excited, especially Elisa.

"Are you Uncle Tommy?" Elisa asked eagerly as the guy approached.

"Yeah, I'm Tommy," the guy replied.

Hearing this, Alaric and Stellan couldn't help but exchange glances. Because of what the kids said, they had subconsciously thought Josep's nephew would be in his forties. They didn't expect him to be so young. "Uncle Tommy, you're so handsome!" Elisa couldn't help but gush.

Tommy looked about twenty-five, tall, at least 6 feet, and very refined and elegant, kind of like Josep in temperament.

But in terms of looks, he had delicate features and a chiseled face, giving off a mature yet youthful vibe.

They really didn't expect Tommy to be such a young and handsome guy.
